This place is amazing. They do not take reservations and you can't share plates. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were very friendly. Friends came here for spring break and recommended hibachi with ribeye steak and scallops. It was delicious. The plate had the ribeye steak cooked the way you like it. The vegetables were stir fried zucchini and onions. All in the same sauce and with fried rice. Also comes with soup and salad but they ran out of salad. They had a back room with a hibachi grill. They had a counter for sushi that you could watch them make. All in all good place to come and enjoy the food. Will be back next time back in town. read more

Wait was short if you don't want the teppenyaki style dining. Sauce for vegetable hibachi was too sweet and not palatable. Vegetables could have been more varied rather than just zucchini and little mushrooms. Sushi was warm (gross). No miso soup here and ginger salad dressing was not great. Business was brisk on a Wednesday evening after 7 pm. Our family of three was able to get one of the last tables in the dining area. There is also a hibachi area which looked full and I saw people waiting for that side. We ordered pork gyoza which are fried and tempura shrimp for appetizers. The hibachi dinners came with soup and salad with choice of dressing (we chose ginger dressing). I picked the shrimp hibachi, son chose the shrimp and filet steak hibachi, and husband chose the steak hibachi. Portions are huge and we brought home three boxes worth of leftovers. It is a good value for all the food! Our hibachi came out so quickly that the shrimp tempura came out last. They also have sushi menu but we did not partake on this visit. They do have a happy hour pricing between 3-5 pm on weekdays as well as lunch specials for additional value. When dining at Little Tokyo, we made it known to wait staff and the cook 3 separate times that one person in our party has an allergy to shrimp. When we told the cook, he seemed almost annoyed tha When we informed the chef multiple times that someone in our party had a shrimp allergy, he seemed somewhat annoyed by the reminders. We had specifically made a reservation for the hibachi stovetop hoping to enjoy the typical show, but our chef didn't do any of the usual tricks or interaction that other tables were getting. While that part was underwhelming, it wasn't the main issue. The real concern came when the food was served. Although the shrimp was cooked last, the chef placed two shrimp directly on top of the plate belonging to the guest who had the shrimp allergy. Because of this, that person couldn't eat their meal and ended up leaving hungry. The food itself was good (around a 7/10), but the lack of attention to an allergy was disappointing and concerning. Hopefully this feedback helps others with allergies be cautious and encourages the staff to take allergy requests more seriously. read more

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Pigeon forge!! It is delicious. You can't go wrong with anything you order. My favorite sushi roll is the French kiss. It's so good that I ordered that combination at any restaurant I go to for sushi. Their hibachi is also delicious. The staff and the owner are super friendly down to earth and goes out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. They keep your drinks filled and the portion sizes are really big. They make your hibachi experience, fun and inclusive with a group you sit with the vibe of the restaurant overall is chill. There's normally a long wait because they are really good, but it's definitely worth the wait. I came here in April 2024 with some friends during vacation, and I really loved my meal! Our chef was very charismatic, kind, and prepared everyone's food in a timely manor. The only thing I will mention, which I see from other reviews as well, is the wait time. I will also note that we walked in for lunch without a reservation. We waited only 5-10 minutes for a hibachi grill table, but from there waited an additional 30-40 minutes for our appetizers and for the chef to begin preparing our meals. The wait staff was pretty laid back so we weren't able to put in additional drink orders since they were rarely around the take them, but I promise if that all wasn't an issue, this place would easily be 5 stars! I wasn't expecting a full piece of Salmon but it was the best. I just chopped it up on top of my rice but my favorite food item here was the Salmon! The only downfalls to this place was that they do not take reservations so it is first come, first served basis, which makes the wait time a little longer before you're seated. We waited 45 minutes to an hour. Also, it is a pretty tight knit restaurant. Everything is pretty close together, so if you're uncomfortable in small, tight spaces, I would advise you to complete a take out order. They do have two areas in the restaurant, which is very convenient. One area is the regular tables within the restaurant to order food and the back area is another part of the restaurant for the hibachi cooking, which is the one where they cook in front of you. There are 3 grills and they sit about 8 people at each grill. Other than that, everything was really good! Lastly, I like how accommodating they are to your requests! An individual at or table requested no teriyaki sauce on anything and he understood and honored her request. But I notice the grill temperature was set a bit too high, all the food including vegetables, meats, sea foods are burning while the next other items being cooked. Only staying at the table long enough to pick up or drop off. Didn't check drink levels, didn't bring napkins...The spring rolls need a dipping sauce, but at least the appetizers were warm when we got them. The meal we ordered was COLD when it got to the table. The chicken was so tough you couldn't spear it with a fork. We were looking forward to it because our previous experience was pleasant, but this was atrocious. UPDATE- we thought this was just how customers were treated when not dinning at the grill, but judging by the other tables, we are the only ones being treated this way. The sushi chef grabbed my sushi order. They brought a soup too. The soup alone was a 10. It was prob the best soup I've eaten at a Japanese spot. (Minus the onions it would have been even better.) My only complaint is the lack of sauces.... They only offered Yum Yum sauce. I had to request ginger and it was terrrrrrrrrrrible. I should have listened to my instincts and overruled my husband. He wanted to go here because he loves teppenyaki, but I had a feeling that we would be disappointed. Pigeon Forge is a tourist trap as is, so any place will have a wait. Little Tokyo was just a little less accurate with its prediction of when a table would be ready. They have beer and wine, but no cocktails. Be aware that they don't have all the sakes listed in the menu. Portion sizes were huge, but sadly, I found most of the food to be too salty and mostly inedible. I ordered the hibachi ribeye and shrimp. Everything was doused in a teriyaki sauce that rendered it all way too sweet. Most similar restaurants use lemon juice, butter and soy sauce to complement the food, but this place drowned everything so you couldn't taste the (probably) low quality meat. Prices were among the lowest I've seen for tableside teppenyaki, but as the food wasn't good, it was no bargain. read more
