Very good food and clean!!! Customer service was awesome and the food is amazing!!! I can't wait to go back!

I've driven by Sakura for years. The lil' missus wanted sushi yesterday. She googled sushi- says Sakura has 4 stars and it's a buffet. Ok let's try it. Parking is tight. 2:30 Sunday afternoon and there is a line. It's dark. It's old. It's cramped. It's packed. Pay as you enter at some booth that looks like a fortune teller would be sitting in it. If the fortune teller was indeed there- they would say you are about to be forever changed. We paid- got seated- and headed to the buffet. Holy guacamole Batman. It's tight and crowded. They had prawns or maybe crawfish- missus loved them. They had shrimp. Fried fish looked rough. They had everything you can find in a Chinese food place. They had miles of noodles, piles of egg rolls and dumplings and spring rolls. They had ice cream and cookies and desserts. They had cakes and puddings and yes- a salad or three. If you got to a buffet and eat a salad- you got issues I can't fix. The final test: missus says she didn't see red jello. It isn't a real buffet without the red jello. I went looking. Yes- three kinds of jello. How did everything taste? Missus liked it all and really liked the potatoes ( why, just, why.) I thought the place was absolutely terrific. Old and a bit tired but the food was so very good. The service from our waits was good. She would say to people "I see you" and smile as she took the empty plates or refilled glasses. We paid $12.99 per person, plus $3 per person for drinks. With tip is was like $38 ish bucks. I can spend that at Freddy's or Burger King for two people. So- if ya haven't been there, try it. I was in town on vacation and was craving some Chinese food and this was the only Chinese buffet around. Surprisingly, this place stays open until 10pm nightly. Walking in, I was surprised to pay first before you eat as most places I ever been to is eat and pay later. The variety here is actually decent as I expected it to be a lot smaller than anticipated. They have their sushi bar, hibachi (cook to order), fried section, cold bar, salad bar, and dessert area. I really enjoyed their hibachi made to order areas. The cook definitely had some skills. The flavor was definitely on point! The dumpling dipping sauce was amazing. Best I have ever tasted. I am shocked this place didn't get better reviews. The waitress was attentive and kept clearing our table and giving us refills. The ice cream and fruits here was not bad at all. The quality of ice cream was very good and I really enjoyed it. Coming from Atlanta with all the Chinese buffets, I am very surprised to actually enjoy this spot. I highly recommend here if you're in town wanting some good Asian buffet. Everything was reasonably hot. Hot and sour soup was pretty good. Some battered chicken was hard and chewy, but the General Gau was nice and soft. Good egg roll and crab rangoon. Did not spit any guk out in a napkin. They had chilled shrimp and whiskery fish, even at lunch. this place was extremely racist! we arrived at dinner time like anybody else and were very clearly talked about in front of the workers speaking in a language we couldn't understand. bathrooms are unsanitary, lots of stuff are overpriced, the food was very limited, and we waited a very long for them to refill as they told us they would however they never did. Also food was extremely cold and the utensils were not clean. we could not enjoy our dinner because these workers were being very unfriendly and rude! overall this experience was very humiliating i would not recommend!! read more

We didn't know the lunch time. I forgot to ask. But here's the board they had. It just became two when we got there. We went on a Friday. Drinks besides water is three ninety-nine. The food was great. There's tons of selections. You can even have an hibachi meal made. The price is worth it. The sanitary is quite clean. The buffet is very good for the price. It was $13 per person and had cocktail shrimp, made-to-order hibachi (really good), and at least 10 different types of sushi rolls. The sushi rolls included raw tuna and salmon, delicious fried rolls, as well as your everyday cooked sushi. Seaweed salad and Squid salad are also on the bar. The coconut shrimp was excellent, as was most of the other fried Chinese selections. My only complaints were the pancit (mei fun) was plain and almost no ingredients added to it and the egg drop soup was watery and bland. Still deserves 5 stars due to the price, selection and service. Will definitely visit again. read more

Went here to eat tonight and the food wasn't good. We arrived late but still had time before they closed and even called before we went. They charged $18 per person and also $3.35 per drink. The food had clearly been sitting out all day and there wasn't much of it left. The staff started taking stuff from the buffet even though it was still a while before closing and we had only arrived recently. There also were other customers that arrived after rus and they took their money but continued packing up the food. It was pretty BS of them to do that. The staff wasn't really professional and the food just wasn't good. Alot of money to pay for such a bad experience and table scraps... and the food made my wife sick. I think 3-4 stars is fair. It's good, cheap, and a ton or different foods. Staff is helpful and attentive. Who knows the quality but it fills the belly?! Lots of exterior parking, away from the main tourist section of the strip. Would come back if hungry and here again. Sushi selection is indeed noteworthy and bumped this to a 4 star. So good!!! Stopped here for the all you can eat Chinese buffet and hibachi. It is self service but the server we had was very attentive. The hot line was very clean and well stocked as were the cold and dessert lines. The hibachi had all the ingredients found in any hibachi kitchen. Have been back a few times. They had a fairly good selection. Most of the items I tried were not very flavorful I thought it was odd that the dessert bar was right next to the bathroom I also thought it was strange to have a curtain in front of the bathroom doors and you had to touch going in and coming out that reeks of unsanitary conditions there was a line for the sit down toilet in the men's bathroom, but none for the urinal not to mention the sounds coming from those stalls. I know that's TMI. The restaurant seems to be clean in general. To each his own son may love this place, but I wasn't impressed. read more

My family and I had dinner here while vacationing in the Smoky Mountains. This was one of the best buffet restaurants we've ever eaten at! The variety of food available is huge, the price is incredibly reasonable, the food was hot and the quality of the food was above average. We made our plates and sat down at the table and I went to open the ketchup and the bottle exploded all over me so bad it got the people behind us and beside us!!! It was so fermented it was like a bomb when I opened the lid. The fresh veggies on the bar were not fresh they looked like they had been refrigerated for days . Me,my fiancé and his grandmother are locals and we have gone to Sakura time and time again hoping it would be better because all the other times the food was undercooked raw or just plain nasty well this time we went after not going for a while just to see if it got better and no surprise it didn't. My chicken was moldy and raw my fiancés sushi was disgusting to where he had to spit it out,we left a little after that and my grandmother-in-law was outside the car puking right after we stepped out of this place!!!! trust me we will not be returning this was our last time. if I could I would rate this 0 I would not recommend this to anyone that's traveling or a local!!! read more

Ate there Wednesday, first time in a long time, it's been revamped some from when I was last there. Great selection of food on the buffet pretty much everything you want. Price now in the evening is $16.95 The biggest problem our 4 some had was all the kids running around getting into the foods getting in the way and the amount of noise was crazy. I understand parents want and need to take their kids out, BUT fix there plates for them and get them situated. This buffet has a HUGE selection of food. They had so many items, I couldn't try them all. They have a hibachi bar included in the cost of the buffet too. When we went for lunch, it was $10 per person. It's advertised as being even cheaper than that if you go on certain days. Crazy. As with any buffet, not all of the food items are going to agree with your palate, but the majority of the food I tried was yum! I ate 4 plates worth of food, so let my actions speak for themselves. I'm also a sucker for hibachi, so job well done! To top it off, there's ice cream cones with at least 5 different ice cream flavors and a full dessert bar. Overeating was strong that day! My name is Nancy Cleveland, I ate here March 29th 2025, around 8pm The chicken and rice smelled and tasted like rotten fish, I took it back so they could fix it and it still tastes horrible, I've eaten there multiple times before when it was at the old location and the food was decent, but since it's moved the food is horrible and they don't give refunds, I normally don't complain but when I pay almost $20 for a plate of food that I can't eat. I'm complaining!!!!!! We took a ride Into Tennessee. Its been awhile since we both were together going to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge & Severville. Its a very touristy area now compared to when I was there last. We Happen to see the sign that this buffet was only $8.95 that was cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. You pay when you walk in. Everyone has to have a mask on and they give you gloves to put on when you get your food. Everyone seemed to follow the rules pretty good. The food was pretty good. The sushi wasnt too bad nothing like Vegas sushi but better than some Chinese buffets. The place was packed. When you are done and wanting dessert they had area with all kinds of fruit and even ice cream. The waitress would clean the table well before they sat anyone else. It was definetly worth the money. The food was phenomenal here! It is a little different than I expected, though. They did have a hibachi corner and about 15-20 different sushi roll options. But the rest of the buffet was like a standard Chinese buffet. Everything was absolutely great, though! The service was really good, as well. It was much better than most other buffets I've been to. The lady bussing the tables was always moving around quickly, but still took the time to notice our drinks needing to be refilled. And they even gave our two kids (5 and 2) a pair of learner's chopsticks that the kids just loved! They're still using them at home! 100% recommend read more
