We were having a storm coming in, and to be prepared we decided to get take out for hubby, me and mom. Hubby had tried them a few days earlier and said this is good. Mom ordered Shrimp lo mein, she said it was delicious! Fresh with lots of shrimp enough for two meals. She got BBQ fried rice also. Hubby got Thai spring rolls, they were spicy and full of veggies and chicken. BBQ pork fried rice also, so much pork, egg, and veggies. He also got wonton soup a Qt. His main dish was beef with garlic sauce, and lots of broccoli and good veggies. I ordered the Szechuan chicken. And BBQ pork fried rice. Also a side of kimchi, I love to add kimchi to all my other items. All our meals were fresh, tender meat, the right spice, and love it when there is an array of veggies, not just carrots and onions. The atmosphere, is clean and friendly no frills, down home Asian foods. We will be back, close to home, and wherever we've lived we must have one good place for oriental take out!!! Yay read more

Love the food here!!! Generals chicken, orange chicken and hibachi anything is so good! Love the crab Rangoon, eggrolls are delicious and we love the egg drop soup!!! Everything is always put together beautifully and travel time is about 15 minutes but it's still piping hot when we get there. Very unusual hostess, very loud, when she took our order, didn't ask fried or white rice. I told her we wanted fried rice with vegetables after she came back. She came over while she had a large bite of white rice in her mouth and started talking. Honestly, I could not understand her and said wait please until you finish that. She went to sit down and started eating. We still didn't know if we are getting fried rice with vegetables or what? Food was a 7 out of 10. Tasted good. I've been eating here for 10+ years . The food is excellent it's always on point . I have 0 complaints about the food . Your food will be amazing . But . . Here lately it's the service . I'm not sure what's going on but the lady is just sooo rude , it's worse and worse everytime we go even for pick up orders. The one and only time they ever left out food when we went back and got it , we had to argue over it and never even got an apology. Sadly this will be the last straw for us eating here. If you go to this place and think it is great Asian food.. you really need to assess whether you have EVER had really good Asian food. I found it to be greasy, overcooked and seemed like reheated leftovers. Maybe y'all came on the day it was fresh and I just got there a few days later. There are a couple of really good Asian restaurants in Morristown and several in Knoxville, a couple in Sevierville. I wanted this place to be great, as it is the closest to my home. Unfortunately, we gave it 3 tries (in 2018, 2019 and 2020) and it seemed to get worse each time. The last time the tables were sticky and there were crumbs and food wiped off the table, on our seats (yes, even during COVID protocols) and the server was rude when we asked for a rag to clean it up. We've never eaten in the restaurant and if you're offended by straight forward business owners who don't care if you like their personality, only that you like their food, send someone else in to pick up your food. My favorite spot for Asian cuisine! I have loved everything I have gotten from there--especially the Asian Cafe sushi roll, steamed dumplings, chow Mei fun and any of their Thai dishes. I know some people have mentioned the lady who is usually there is rude; but honestly, she's not once you understand her culture. We had carry out again! Every time i call in an order I have trouble speaking because my mouth is watering so much! We got shrimp rolls. These sre delicate thin fried rolls with crispy cabbage and just enough shrimp! Thai basil fried rice. This was mildly curry and spicy. Tiny bits of sweet pineapple with the tang of real Thai basil! and tender chicken. .. hang on while I wipe my mouth again. Sushi is delightful and very inexpensive for the amount served, plus they DO NOT wrap a bunch of rice around it to make it look bigger! Staff is very nice and friendly. Restaurant is clean! Good enough for me to do my first review! I love these guys! The food is excellent and the staff is amazing! Also, they are very accommodating to making things your way, just ask. Although, you may still get a "no", they try and still tackle many challenges. The staff: Many will be put off by the staff, english is definitely not thier first language, but it is for thier children who go to our local schools. So, you might not always be understood clearly or you may not understand them. The lady out front, Yinhua, can appear to be frustrated or rough around the edges, she may not be best on first impressions, she is just trying to be professional, however, if you take the time to get to know her (and the rest of them) she is the one of the sweetest most caring people you will ever know. The location: Middle of downtown Dandridge and we love it, you can't have it! The building is an older building and has housed many aspiring businesses so it will not be the most modern place you will ever eat in, but it suffices. Someone mentioned it can be warm at times, and to me, I agree but I keep my house 64-66 degrees year round. But I was never so off put to be uncormfortable, just maybe not completely comfortable. The Food: Great! I have tried so many new things with them and throughly enjoyed them. All the Chinese Classics we know and enjoy, some Japenese and sushi, and some Thai. My favorites are the amazing fried dumplings(which all my friends and kids enjoy), Tenn I See roll, Black Dragon roll, and the Thai red curry chicken. I also enjoy the Egg Foo Yung, which I never thought I would, but it is amazing, and their hibachi. I can eat almost the whole menu, tbh. And between my family of 6 and often hosting events with up to 8 more people that we all order take out from there, we have gotten almost everything with little or no complaint. First time trying this restaurant and definitely glad we did! Called in order for carry out.  We had spring rolls, spicy Thai Basil chicken, jumbo shrimp in lobster sauce and shrimp fried rice. All we're excellent! Large portions. Large shrimp. Reasonable prices. Coming from a big city filled with Chinese, Thai, pan- Asian, Nepali, etc restaurants, we were super stoked to find this restaurant in our Dandridge backyard. We WILL be back. We were traveling westbound on I-40 and decided to cut the corner for dinner in Danbridge--pretty drive. I got the coconut curry which had very good flavor and perfectly cooked veggies. Get it to go!! The food here is actually really good. The hot and sour soup is some of the best I've had and I really enjoy the Mongolian chicken or beef. However, the service here is so bad that it's almost comical. Think soup nazi from Seinfeld. I had decided to try something different so I asked for a minute and the waitress just stood there telling me what I should get. I'm guessing it was something already prepared in the back. You will almost always get to enjoy the yelling coming from the kitchen. The food is actually served pretty quickly and is always hot, but don't expect friendliness. Probably the best wonton soup I've had. And Gen Tso extra spicy with fried rice really good!!! Egg roll was great too . Really good food and service. We are staying at an Airbnb on Douglas Lake and were very impressed with Asian Cafe. Dandridge is about 7 miles from the lake house and the food was hot and yummy. The owner/manager was super nice. We got the egg rolls, spring rolls, crab angles, seaweed salad, rainbow roll, spicy Thai basil chicken, Mongolian chicken and pork fried rice. We have 2 Asian restaurants in town. This place is by far some of the best Chinese/Japanese food I have ever had and by far surpasses the other restaurant here. The egg drop soup is wonderful and the spider roll is fantastic! You get free food when purchasing certain amounts/$$. I don't eat spicy food so they gave me a different food item....great customer service. They have great dinner, lunch and sushi specials for very reasonable prices.
