Nice selection of dishes on the menu. They have Japanese and Chinese dishes. The Happy Meal is a great set that you get an egg roll, California rolls, rice, crab ragoon, and a dish of your choice. The service was good and food came out fast. Bottomless fountain drinks, really nice place to get a nice meal. read more

Delicious fresh food. Friendly pleasant service. Clean pretty atmosphere. We love it!

Excellent food for a fair price. Highly recommended! They get busy inside sometimes, and service suffers when they are crowded. read more

We love China 1. The food is always good no matter what we order. If they don't have it on their extensive menu they will make something special for you. Friendly staff as well. read more

Everything we have ordered has been excellent. Some of our favorites is roast pork with Chinese vegetables, beef with broccoli yum! The wonton soup is so good and the spare ribs are excellent and keeps us going back. Fast friendly staff too! read more

General so's style tofu with broccoli is amazing. Some of the best tofu l've had in the South. Regional vegetarians rejoice, they are happy to accommodate you. They may not be able to do everything, but they substituted tofu for the chicken in this dish without hesitation. read more

Went here for a late lunch, and the service was great, we placed our order and the food came rather quickly. The food was very good. Enjoyed our time there. I would recommend this property to our friends and family. read more

A great place to go eat I recommend anyone looking for a good Chinese restaurant to check them out. The service was great and the food was great quality. read more

Can't say all Chinese doses are served the same. My wonton soup wash so fishy I thought we left last Fridays fish in the can too long. Received this to go took off the lid it was still steaming and putting off a very obnoxious Oder. We eat with our eyes ears and taste and today way too much fish sauce was hiding in that won ton soup! When calling to ask they told me there is only 1/2 scoop in each container, next time I went in I watched he put 2-4 in each soup I sure didn't like the taste the lie or the answer but in the past it was good at this last time not so good. read more

Excellent food. Fantastic service. I can only recommend this wonderful restaurant. Excellent vegetarian options.

This is my "go to" Chinese Restaurant when I'm in that area. Food is always good and reliable.

My husband says that China 1 is his favorite Chinese restaurant yet. Meh, I think it is pretty good. We walked in and ordered to go food. It was ready quickly. The interior of the restaurant is nicer than the exterior lets on, so I uploaded some pictures your my Yelpitutes. We both liked our crab rangoons, and fried pork won tons. I did not think the shrimp was cooked long enough. Hubby said he loved the egg rolls, and we both enjoyed the General Tso's Chicken. My favorite item was the egg drop won ton soup. We got a to go menu, and will order from here in the future. *Extra parking behind the building. **24 hour coin laundry next door read more

This restaurant prices have shot to the moon food that we got last fall for $20.00 is now $40.00. I see a lot of comments that the food is good we have a small Chinese restaurant where I'm from and I'm telling you it would blow this one out of the water, we don't purchase Teriyaki anymore from this restaurant the last couple times it was like eating a shoe tongue, we don't purchase Sweet and Sour Chicken or Chicken wings anymore because they were so dried out they were uneatable, in my opinion they are riding this inflation thing and just making their profits even higher, common give the working person a chance and stop price gouging for sub par food. We will not eat there anymore. read more

China one unfortunately has went down a bit hopefully they get better. The staff needs to be a bit more friendly and they need to add more food to make their pricing. read more

Been to China 1 a handful of times with my family and friends it is always fresh and delicious amazing!

Absolutely delicious food!! We moved to the area recently and tried takeout from here, and the flavor blew our socks off!! I'm very picky when it comes to Chinese food and this is better than what we got back in Texas. Definitely our favorite place to get takeout!!! read more

We love China 1! We eat there every other day or week. The spicy tuna rolls are sooo good!!

I was very impressed with cleanliness of the restaurant very very very clean. Food on a scale of 1-10 , 10 being the best grade. I would give this place a 5. Food to me was tasteless. Reason I gave this place a 2 is cause the customer service was not very good. Not very welcoming at all. read more

If you want better Sushi you might find it in Knox, maybe, but nothing better in a 30 mile radius for sure. The chinese food is very good as well. The staff is very friendly and hygienic. Its very quiet if you dine in. But you are well taken care of. I assume they do allot of takeout. read more

China 1 is one of the few Dandridge restaurants I keep on my Rolodex. The food is tasty, well prepared, and tastes fresh. I have not had a bad order yet and we've eaten there or brought home well over twenty times in the past couple years. Having had Chinese food at one of those places that requires you to go down the stairs in the rear of an alley in a seedy part of Washington DC only to find yourself in culinary bliss, China 1 can't compare to that. It is, however, worth every penny. If you want some excitement, forgo the packets of Chinese mustard and ask for their homemade mustard. Be prepared for a religious experience! read more

Good was fair but the whole restaurant seemed very disorganized. Not a pleasant experience. We will go one more time in hopes it was just a start up night after being closed. read more

Excellent Food. Very adequate portion. I feel like you get a little more with carry out, but that may be me. I have had nearly every item and each one is very well prepared. Never greasy. always tasty with each dish different flavor not like some restaurants where everything tastes similar. The Place is easy to find and always clean. Service is excellent and staff is very nice. We have eaten there at least twice a month for 3 years and have NEVER had Bad food. Thanks China 1, Now if they would only move the panda so you can see it from the road. By the way. It is also a Pokestop!!!!!! read more

The food here tastes very good and the service is very courteous and fast especially when you're passing through and you don't have a whole lot of time. A nice little spot right off the highway and very authentic Chinese Taste read more

Staff was very nice, but the food was not great at all. We're from California and cheese food out there blows away this restaurant

We were in the area and I remembered I had bookmarked this place to try. We decided to stop in and maybe grab something to go. The decor inside was so cute that we decided to eat in. A young woman greeted us and sat us right away. We ordered some hot tea which was perfect for a cold day. We noticed they had many tofu options but didn't have one General Tso's style (my husband's favorite). We asked if they could make it as a special request. Our server talked with the chef and they were able to accommodate us. Ok, since this is my husband's favorite dish he has tried it at any and every Chinese restaurant that either had it on the menu or would make it special. This was by far the best! Seriously, the tofu was perfection! Crispy on the outside but not greasy. Perfect amount of heat in the sauce. Not to mention the fresh broccoli and perfectly cooked rice. We also tried the hibachi vegetable happy meal. Again, delicious fresh vegetables. It wasn't greasy or swimming in sauce. We also loved the veggie spring rolls and spicy duck sauce. The service was fast and very friendly. We also enjoyed the music and ambiance. We will definitely be back! read more

I was shopping in the strip mall nearby when my cousin and I decided to drop by for some early dinner. Great service from our Waiter. We ordered 1 shrimp with vegetables, and it was enough to feed both of us. I enjoyed the wonton soup as well as the spring rolls. read more

My parents go here quite often and enjoy the place. Solid Chinese food for the price.

Terrific food. Good quality and quantity. Always fresh. I have had numerous things in the menu and never had a bad meal there. Always very pleased with whatever I order. Nice people working there too. I highly recommend eating here. read more

Really good food and the wait staff is very efficent.

We picked up from China 1 during our road trip stop in Daindridge. Sadly, we could not have been more disappointed. I knew from the first bite of egg roll that this was not going to be great food. The schezuan beef was watery. The hot and spicy chicken was worse than the beef, soupy and flavorless. The fried rice was edible but it did not appear there was any egg used in the preparation. It's not often that I say, "I wish we would have gone to Shoney's." read more

Under new management the food is improving. Portions have always been good. Desk employee is hard to understand so make sure your order is correct . It may be a long trip back to get it corrected. read more

Very disappointing. From the reviews I expected much better. We ordered take out consisting of dinners of Roast Pork Lo Mein, Beef with mushrooms, and Hunan chicken. The Lo Mein was essentially without taste, as was the Beef with mushrooms. Hunan dishes are supposed to be hot/spicy but even adding mustard there was no "kick". The fried rice was closer to plain brown rice, once again with no taste. On the positive side, the egg rolls and dumplings were very good, especially the dumplings. The hostess was very polite, helpful, and personable, plus the restaurant appeared to be very clean. read more

Food was not bad by any means. Very hot when I arrived to pick it up. I got the Taos chicken. It was not spicy in the slightest to me which was disappointing but the flavor was still there. read more

I always have great dinners here. This is actually my favorite China One location. The food and people are just better here.
