Microwaved or old fried rice! Hard and not cooked properly
    Solar H.

I would definitely give this restaurant no stars if possible. So my family decided with Chinese and we found this restaurant online since it had good reviews. So ordered online, got my food to go, arrived back at the place we were all staying and got everything out of the bag. I noticed the rice with soy sauce that hasn't even been mixed thoroughly. (I provided pictures) this was like those minute rice you microwave. I expected fresh cooked rice!! That was only the first part and the general tsos wasn't even cooked properly and did not taste like a general tso! All of my entrees I order was completely disgusting! (The pu pu platter, the beef & broccoli, chicken etc) Nothing was cooked right and Im really sure everything was reheated and was sitting out!! This is the very first Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at that I hated so much of their food. I wish they would shut down!!! I don't even know how this restaurant has such high reviews. I'm mad that I wasted money for such awful food and my family wasn't able to enjoy any of it. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! save your family, money and time and go somewhere different.

I'd give this place 3.5 stars. Portions are great and prices are very reasonable. Had some trouble with ordering (minor) - think it's more of the language barrier but workable. Tried a couple of dishes from the lunch menu - the Szechuan chicken is marked as spicy but it was more sweet than anything else, there was also not a lot of meat in there. Their beef dishes are pretty good. Egg fried rice lacked flavor and very little egg. The spicy cabbage was really good, albeit the greasiness. The Singapore noodles was probably the best dish - very flavorful - would recommend. Overall a pretty decent Chinese spot for a quick lunch or dinner.

A tortilla what the heck . I ordered mooshu pork with pancakes not tortillas

Gave me a tortilla for my mooshu pork , who in the world does that if i wanted Mexican food i would have went somewhere else , and i am mexican, and a store bought tortilla is a insult .

I'm leaving a one star because I can't leave anything lower than that. My family and I ordered take out from this place and the food is just terrible. The fried rice is white rice with a whisper of soy sauce, the chicken lo mein was pretty good but tasted a bit oily, the general tso's chicken shouldn't be eaten at all because it tastes like it was cook in a dishwasher and had this slimy sauce. The chicken fried rice had 0 flavor and even the soy sauce packets aren't even salty. The fortune cookies taste about 3 years expired and the crab rangoons are not crab rangoons. Pro tip, if you order from here avoid getting the boiled chicken and get beef or shrimp instead.... not wow, but edible. Oh also they just don't know how to season any of their food.

This place was excellent, as you would expect for a place that has been here since the 80s. Now mind you, you CAN tell it's been here that long...but that's part of the charm. Firstly, let me say that the drive thru was a cool novelty. The only time I've ever got Chinese drive thru is from Panda Express (which I imagine is pretty much the way anybody reading this has done it). Driving up and ordering was fun. So, on to the rest...food was great! I got General Tso's chicken and it was really good. Very crispy and very flavorful. I had a good drive back to the house I was staying at and it was still fresh and warm when I got there. Service was abrupt but decent. Guy popped his head out the window, asked what I wanted, then disappeared. He came back when my food was ready and that was it. Oh: tip for tourists! It seems common down here for you to get brown rice...but it seems more like white rice with some soy sauce...lightly fried maybe? That seems to be the standard from the three places I tried down here.

I have NEVER given a restaurant 1 star, until I visited Chinatown Restraunts. The menu looked appetizing, but it went downhill once the food arrived. My fried rice was literally white rice with soy sauce poured on top, not fried at all. The lemon chicken was plain chicken with lemons. The server was also not very kind. There are not many Chinese restaurants in the area, however this is one place to AVOID.

Definitely the most authentic Chinese food around! Great prices, too. I enjoy their roast pork dishes.

Is this restaurant open Christmas day?

Thanks for asking. We usually open on Xmas day, but based on current situation (COVID-19 etc), we still reconsider those matters. So, just call ahead the restourant on Xmas day in our business hour (11am to 9 pm ). Thx

    Do they offer vegetarian options?

We also had the drunken noodles and the spicy chicken steamed buns. I will say that the portions feel small for the apps and buns. Entrées are filling. Some of the meat in the drunken noodles were tough, others was nice and soft. Service was good. Ambiance is small and feels quaint, they have a patio outside in the back. 8/10

There are several nearby lots also pay-to-park but some may be free on weekends. Kaizen appears to me to be more akin to an Izakaya than a noodle hosue, where you basically go for drinks and they supply some food to keep things going - it has a more expansive menu than an Izakaya (which tends to be yakitori and sushi) - Kaizen's menu features several noodle dishes which all looked very interesting. We started with the appetizers and ordered some mixed steamed buns and soup. All of the buns that I tried I liked quite a bit - some strong, distinctive flavors. For an entree I ordered the Koji-Cured Ribeye medium-rare - 12 oz sliced ribeye, gai lan, broad bean paste, steamed rice. The steak was cooked perfectly. The service was exceptional - the next night we tried Fin-Two Japanese Ale House across the street - this restaurant was my preference - the flavors seemed more authentic and the quality of the dishes better in my opinion.
