Everything about the experience was enjoyable. Great teamwork making sure every customer's needs were met in a timely way. Sooooo much variety. The crayfish (why I decided to try China Buffet) were a little light on seasoning, but the green lip muscles were delicious. The bad, the pork egg roll was mushy. Probably from being out a while, but the vegetable roll was crisp. The hot and sour soup was not spicy enough for me, but I remedied that by adding some hot mustard. Was not a fan of the chicken on a stick that someone else suggested, but it could just be me. Also, I did not like the seafood salad. The good. Plenty to choose from! The food was hot and plentiful. Chicken, beef, pork, seafood, it's all there. Did not try the sushi. The restaurant is clean. The servers were attentive and nice. Kept my table cleared as needed. I also checked out the restroom. It was clean and well stocked. The floor was a little slick though that could be the floor tile. Since this is the only restaurant in Greeneville, TN with seafood that is not breaded and deep fried I give it a 5 star rating on food. The variety is outstanding. I have to give the Teriyaki chef 5 stars too. The grilled pork chops are outstanding. The Sushi bar is very attractive and fresh, 5 stars again! The service is excellent and the restaurant is very clean. I love China Buffet and all the employees. I have always been treated with kindness. Although the blue building is a bit scary looking when it comes to restaurants the interior reflects something completely different. I had heard from a few people that this was pretty good but to be honest it took me about a year to try it out. To be fair I'm not a huge buffet person but my husband has been wanting to give it a try...... so we did! We were pleasantly surprised. I was impressed with the the plethora of options. There were three large food stations plus one for the sweets including fruit and about 6 to 8 tubs of ice cream. The food tasted pretty fresh which was a surprise to me since the have so much of it available. The flavors are on point and the quality was there for sure. Now of course not everything will tickle your fancy but with the number of options you will walk out satisfied and completely full. Im a sucker for cream cheese wontons and theirs were pretty good a d they have this chicken on a skewer that was money! I was not a fan of the noodles but the fried rice was really good. They do have to go boxes which they weigh per pound and I believe you can also order particular items to go as well. Really good Chinese style buffet. The food is almost always hot and fresh. The fried shrimp trends to be overcooked, but everything else is spot on. The decor is shabby but the seating is comfortable and the staff is attentive. The Spicy Chicken is delicious and the Broccoli Chicken is always flavorful. Their Pepper Shrimp is moist and buttery. They have a small but adequate salad and dessert bar. They have a tray or two of sushi on the salad bar but we haven't tried any. Maybe next time. .. All in all, good food for a good price. We ate there 2 days ago and my helper and I really enjoyed it. We went just before noon. The selection was very big. And the food was fresh. It was all very tasty. I even thought they went to a little trouble to make the presentation nicer. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 was because the owner was rude. Every chinese buffet I've ever been to has offered a senior discount. So at the register I asked for "one senior discount," the owner said "I give everybody discount," "everybody say they deserve a discount so I give it to everybody." What she was saying is WE DON'T GIVE ANYBODY A DISCOUNT in a smart*ss way. She should have just said 'sorry we don't give senior discounts' instead of belittling it and claiming everyone lied about needing a discount. Didn't like her attitude one bit. read more

Always had a good experience myself here. The late afternoon/evening food is little better when the change their menus on the hot bar. Building is a little older yet par for the course on the Chinese places locally here. Staff is over all friendly. 1st off you don't get food poisoning immediately. It takes 8- 12 hours for that to kick in. 2nd my husband and I eat there weekly and have never had a problem. The food is fresh and the services is great. read more

Lot of people eat here. I don't see any bodies out in the parking lot from food poisoning. Good selection, pretty cheap.

I'm not the biggest fan of this restaurant. However, it has improved since the change in management. The atmosphere is slightly run down, but that have a big variety of things. They have ice cream, which is good for the kids. read more

The best Chinese food in greeneville, far more flavorful than the others I've tried. The vegetable fried rice and egg rolls are wonderful--in addition to decent pricing. They are happy to make custom dishes for you without charging a lot for it. Place is fairly nice and clean. read more
