Loved this restaurant in Pigeon Forge. We actually ate there twice since it was across the street from our hotel! The first night I got the Piggy Mac which was Smoked Brisket in an iron skillet, topped with white cheddar mac n' cheese and biscuit crumbs. It was so delicious!! The second night our table shared an appetizer to start the meal, Puckett's Sampler. It was fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese bites, hot smoked sausage, crackers, dill pickles, remoulade and pepper jelly. It was the perfect size for three people to share. For my meal I did the Nashville Cheesesteak which was Smoked Brisket topped with bell peppers, onions, BBQ sauce and white cheddar cheese sauce on a hoagie. All SO delicious and the meat was nice and tender. We will for sure come back here on our next trip to Pigeon Forge! read more

We have visited Puckett's several times when in the Smokies and have always had a great meal. This visit, we had the pulled pork. For me, the pork could have been cooked a little more. I would describe it was served as a 'wet' BBQ and not as dry, but that is my personal preference. Fries, baked beans and fried jalapeño cornbread are always a great addition. To me, a great BBQ does not need any sauce, so I really didn't try them, but I'm sure they are good. Baked beans were typical. It wasn't as good this time as before, but that will not prohibit us from visiting again next time we are in the area. read more

They were short handed. Took a long time before our order was taken then at least 20-30 min. before we got it. One of the orders was wrong and the bill was incorrect. Food was fair! read more

Food is excellent. Great customer service. Fried chicken was near perfection. Hamburger steak was flavorful. Mashed potatoes are real potatoes, not instant, and prepared well. Older restaurant, but clean and neat. read more

Delicious meal while on vacation. Our waitress was so sweet with that typical southern hospitality. My husband had the BBQ platter and was very satisfied. I had the cherrywood smoked ribs and they were to die for!!! Wish we had this restaurant back home. read more

Puckett's had been on my list for a while now and I'm glad it finally worked out. It's located right on the main strip in Pigeon Forge, amongst all the action. Make sure to secure a reservation online in advance to avoid waiting. Most everything our table ordered was absolutely delicious. Some favorites were the turkey breast, Nashville hot chicken bites, and fried catfish. The atmosphere is great and the service is well. We will be back if in the area! read more

Puckett's has that comfy, farmhouse charm that makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The interior is cozy, warm, and perfectly decorated -- a great place to relax after a long day in Pigeon Forge. Drinks and appetizers came out quickly, which was a nice start. We tried the pimento cheese bites -- they had good flavor but were definitely on the greasy side. For my main dish, I went with the pulled pork platter. The meat had great flavor but quite a bit of fat throughout. My sides were a mixed bag: the skillet mac and cheese was a little bland, the collard greens were tasty but very salty, and the baked beans were the standout -- absolutely delicious! Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable, laid-back spot to eat on a better budget for the area and still enjoy some classic Southern flavors, stop on by and take a load off at Puckett's. read more

The servers are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is minutes from Dollywood and popular with tourists and locals. My husband and I enjoyed our dinner and talking to the other guests I had the shrimp and grits. The grits were so good and creamy probably the best I have ever eaten. The shrimp were tasty but somewhat on the shrimpy side -- pun intended The brisket was nicely smoked with perfect burnt ends We ordered the Presley Parfait to share. It was a delicious banana pudding, vanilla wafer and peanut butter mousse concoction. It was a nice way to end the meal read more

We were a party of two who arrived around 6:30 p.m. hoping to sit at the bar, have a drink, and enjoy the live music that started at 7:00. We were surprised when two young hostesses told us we were not allowed to sit at the bar. At the time, there were only two other patrons sitting there. When we asked why, we were told that the bartender was busy and also had tables to wait on. We asked to speak with a manager, and after the hostess checked, we were eventually told that we could sit at the bar. We were left thinking, "Wow... really?" Unfortunately, the experience didn't improve. The bartender, who I believe was Tammy, was less than personable. We also watched another woman essentially run the bar and the entire section while the bartender appeared to be responsible for it. What really concerned me, however, was observing the bartender repeatedly coughing without covering her mouth or washing her hands. After having one drink, I was ready to leave. There are plenty of other places in Pigeon Forge that would be happy to have your business. Based on our experience, I strongly encourage you to consider other options before choosing Puckett's. read more

The food was amazing and we loved the atmosphere! 100% recommend! Service was amazing also!! We really enjoyed the band.

We sat at 8:20 and greeted quickly and ordered our food by 8:25. Our food came at 9:10 (well,3 out of 4 plates came. The server that brought the food said "are you missing something?". Yes, my food! Ok, they're making it. I asked for the manager and they said they were busy with the orders so someone else came and apologized. I said when I can I expect my sandwich? She said "oh, we don't have bacon". Mind you my order was a BLt. She said I'll get you something else. At that point I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for something else . My friends just shared some of their food. I was so disappointed. I will never go back! read more

We recently visited for dinner and live music. The food was great! We ordered, "The Whole Farm" which is a sampler of all of their smoked meat. It was delicious. All of it! Decided to give Puckett's a try despite the mixed reviews--unfortunately, it ended up being a disappointing experience. We waited about 45 minutes for a table, even though the restaurant was only half full, which was confusing from the start. Once seated, our waitress seemed overwhelmed and wasn't very helpful with the menu. At one point, we even had to take our own plates off her tray. There were several issues with our entrées. The pulled pork was mostly gristle, and there were mistakes with 2 other entrees that weren't corrected properly. Instead, the blame was placed on the kitchen without much effort to resolve it. To top it off, our checks were mixed up and incorrect. Overall, the experience fell short in both service and food quality. I'd recommend going elsewhere! read more

Our food was outstanding! The only reason for the four stars is because the ambience could be better. Our server was great and the food came out quickly. The chicken fried chicken was outstanding! We also ordered the pulled pork platter which was very good. All of our sides were great including the mac & cheese and the grits. We had a coupon from a magazine for a free appetizer and we got the brisket nachos. It was a huge plate of nachos and they were awesome! read more

It's a fast casual restaurant. You order at the counter right at the front door. Food is southern comfort food. The line gets a bit crazy but moves fast. You also need to order your drinks from the bar. Bar service was very slow. Food came pretty quickly. They had warned it takes 30 mins for the fried chicken but it came faster than expected. Food was good. Piggy Mac was a hit. Mashed potatoes and Salmon were great. Fried chicken tasted great too. They do have live music but not while we were there. read more

After having purchased Puckett's bbq sauce at my grocery store we decided to try the restaurant. I ordered the veggie plate with collards, mashed sweet potatoes, and potato salad. My son ordered a full slab of ribs, coleslaw and mac and cheese. All the veggies were good, the potato salad has a Cajun style seasoning in it, collards are fresh and not chopped mushy mess. The Mac and cheese was really good and tasted homemade. Our favorite only disappointment was the ribs. We are used to meaty juicy ribs and these ribs were not that. Then are long smoked over cherry wood and St. Louis style rather than baby back. So they had a good taste but needed a lot of sauce to not feel so dry in the mouth. We said next time we will just try the pulled pork since it's fattier meat. read more

Very disappointed in our meal. Pulled pork was quite dry. My son ordered the mojo pasta - it had many items in the dish that were not listed on the menu. He didn't care for it at all. Went to Puckett's after a long day of fishing in the sun (and later in the rain haha). After washing off, my friends and I were craving authentic southern food, and we had read a lot of reviews of this place on Yelp and TikTok that showed us a lot of promise. We don't typically eat southern food on a regular basis, but we have eaten from a lot of southern restaurants in the past. We walked in at about 4pm or so, it was kind of busy with a line to order food. When we walked in the line took us about 10 minutes with 2 groups in front us. Keep in mind that the line gets busy quick, with the line going out the door 1 hour after we arrived. Once you order food, you can find a table and hang up your table number so the servers know where to bring your food. After ordering food, we found a table and I went to the bar to get drinks. The drinks all looked super tasty, many of which were Ole Smokey Moonshine drinks. I ordered the Dreamsicle cocktail and a hard cider. The Dreamsicle was super tasty and did taste like a hard creamsicle, but it was super sweet and I felt like I needed to water it down a bit- especially because I know alcohol dehydrates me a bit. The cider was pretty refreshing and was semi-sweet. Their draft selection was a bit limited. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken with Mac-n-cheese and baked beans. The southern fried chicken had crispy skin that was nicely seasoned. The white meat was a bit dry but I dunked it in BBQ sauce to mask that. Mac-n-cheese was creamy and melted in your mouth. Baked beans were also delicious and contained sausage. We also asked our server for dessert recommendations and he recommended the fried brownie and the peach cobbler. Mind you I love chocolate, but I was craving something fruity that day. Nevertheless, the fried brownie was phenomenal- it was hot and had a crisp layer of batter on top of it, it had pecans for an extra crunch, and the ice cream melted on top of the brownie adding a creamy flavor to it. The peach cobbler was pretty good but nothing impressive. Overall, amazing food and fantastic service. read more

Cozy country atmosphere with friendly, upbeat service. The restaurant is large but was surprisingly quiet during our visit. The menu offers something for everyone at fair, average pricing. Food quality was about a three out of five--cheese bites came out cold and lacked flavor, while the shrimp and grits were good but could've been hotter. Overall, a decent spot, but I'd probably try another local favorite next time. read more

During a girls trip to Tennessee, we stopped by Puckett's for dinner and it was the best decision ever. We had an amazing server, Mackenzie. She was so kind and made our experience amazing. She made sure we were taken care of and was extremely efficient. In addition, the entire staff was a delight. They were all so kind and we loved getting to talk to them. Now... THE FOOD. Oh my god was it the best BBQ I've had. I got the pulled pork mac and cheese. The pork was so tender and so flavorful. We loved our experience at Puckett's and hope to go back again.
