Way overpriced. Cooked to order eggs at this price should indeed be cooked to order. I ordered mine over medium and they were overdone even for fried hard. They also have "a variety of cereals" on their menu, yet only had one variety when we were there. Our server even told us they don't keep much cereal on hand. Minor issue, maybe, but when you come to a restaurant after reviewing their menu online and chose the place for this very reason (one of us has dietary restrictions), it would be nice if the restaurant actually had those items. Two of us also ordered omelettes. Both were overdone. Again, at their prices, the food should be cooked well. Finally, the condiment caddies on their tables are so huge there is hardly any room on the table for your meal. I will say this: the place was clean, the coffee was good and the staff were nice. read more

Awesome!! Food was fantastic. Chorizo skillet was packed with flavor. Place is busy so don't think you will get in and out during its busy time. Enjoy the time with company. It's worth the wait!!! read more

This was very close to my hotel. After going there once for breakfast, I went back for lunch and breakfast again (separate days). The service was good! I went with the yogurt crepe and it was great! The service was good and they sent me away full and ready to face a day at my conference! read more

Not a good experience. Ordered the corned beef hash and 2 over-medium eggs. My eggs came out barely over-easy (the whites weren't even cooked), I asked for new eggs and those came out the same, they were practically raw. My hash browns were lukewarm and the English muffin was not toasted. There was also no real manager to speak to about it, just servers. We will probably not be returning; especially with so many other restaurants within walking distance downtown. read more

They must be waiting for the chickens to hatch the eggs. Waitress ignored us for first 10 minutes. Food took over 30 minutes to be served. Waitress never apologized or explained what was going on. Never eat here. read more

Wish I could give this 0 stars. We should've turned around as soon as we walked in. The host or manager guy was so rude. We stayed because The decor/atmosphere was cute. So we figured that guy would just be the exception and was having a bad day and wanted everyone else to join him. But..... after sitting at our table for 10 min watching a server just pause and look at us and keep moving because he was confused. Maybe he was new..... there were only 4 tables in the restaurant. He finally greeted us. He was nice. We felt better about going into our experience until someone else brought out our food and we still hadn't received our drinks. Again our waiter was nice but soo lost. Food was good but nothing special. Probably would've enjoyed a meal at Denny's with better service. We went to pay and that really "nice"host guy took our payment. He decided to be so "friendly" and place my card and the slip for me to sign on the complete opposite side of the counter from where I was standing. Proceeded to roll his eyes and walk away. Never asked how everything was.... read more

It was a busy Sunday morning, but we were seated fairly quickly. We enjoyed a cup of coffee from the self-service station while waiting. My Califonia Benedict was good, not great. The avocado was not fresh and the sauce a bit runny. My daughter had the French toast with corn flakes and commented that at they would have been better crumbled. She had a side of eggs that we're not warm. read more

This is an awesome brunch place! Great and fast service with yummy but healthy food options. The florentine chicken crepe was awesome and I recommend the merfs electric lime hot sauce over the hash. A meal for two with coffee cost us about $22! read more

Recent neg reviews seem to have been written late night. Midday they get a good lunch crowd, and I found service and quality good. Decor is minimal, all tables, no booths, arranged for max occupancy. I had California Benedict. With side of bacon. Any breakfast place had better be able to poach an egg and they did fine. So for Benedict, its all about the hollandaise. It was good, a little above average, but not enough lemon. Bacon was thick, not cheap stuff. All around the place is an excellent value and has decent service. I'm guessing they need a new night crew/manager based on other's reviews. read more

We had great service here and the food was great. Our sever had our food (2 kids and 2 adults) out to us in less than 10 minutes. Wife had the french toast shock was amazing. I had the Italian sausage hoagie which was good although I was expecting a sausage link and not a patty. Kids meals were reasonably priced. Only surprise was the drinks which were a bit high ($3.15 for a juice). Otherwise we will be back! read more

I can't stand places that say no to a customer. I'm from out of town bad service not good food. They were on a wait even though half the restaurant had open tables . I was sat in the back by the kitchen were the servers were constantly chattering about tables. read more

When you think of a classic breakfast spot, this restaurant fits the bill. Decent food. Extensive and classic menu of bfast options. And mediocre coffee... I went with the egg croissant. And while it hit the spot, it wasn't anything over the top. The service was great, but the lack of decent coffee makes it 3* for me. read more

Service is brutal... The restaurant was busy but we were not greeted by the waiter for 20 minutes. Did not get coffee for another 10 minutes and had to flag down the waiter to order food. The food is fine, nothing amazing but it did the job. Disappointed and would not be back read more

Rough. 5-7 minutes to be greeted at my table on an average busy day. Coffee of the day was "hazelnut". Not. Tasted like generic, below average coffee. Ordered fruit and granola crepe. It had such potential! The crepe, granola and yogurt were good. It could've been great, except it was full of unripe, tasteless, crunchy cantaloupe! Really? Not a single strawberry. Not one. A few small blueberries helped, but they were unimpressive too. And a few grapes sprinkled in. Not good. During the meal, server came by exactly zero times to ask how the meal was. I guess she knew. As I paid the cashier, she asked, "How was it?" I said, "Not good." That was it, didn't ask why. She didn't care to know why it wasn't good. read more

This place is average in nearly every way. I don't see much of a difference between here and other breakfast-focused franchise restaurants. Having grown up in the New Jersey with an acute understanding of what a diner is all about, a diner would crush this place on operating hours alone. If you're hungry for a standard-issue American breakfast and you're on the sidewalk outside, go for it. read more

Food wasn't great. The coffee was subpar. There are many other breakfast places I would rather eat at. Overall it's a pretty average place. Nothing special really. read more

Took forever for me (one person) to get seated. Many open tables were in sight. Food is good.

Ugh. We were visiting family in Denver and wanted a casual breakfast for our last day in-town, so we headed to the Delectable Egg because it had a wide-ranging breakfast menu and was close to our hotel. We had an awful experience. First, we waited about 20 minutes for a table. I don't mind that if the restaurant is actually busy. However, once we stepped inside (we'd waited outside), we saw that the cause of the long wait was not a full restaurant but under-staffing. Several tables sat empty and several others had no customers but totally dirty dishes. You'd think the place would staff-up appropriately for the Sunday late-morning breakfast rush, since it's a breakfast/lunch-only restaurant. We probably should have taken that as a sign to leave. Instead, we sat down--and then waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged by a server. No coffee, no juice...no nothing. In fact, the only thing that got us service was me pulling aside a busboy and asking when a server would come by. When he did, he offered no apologies for the wait and said he would take only beverage orders. When I said we were ready to order our meal, he responded with attitude. Food was delivered relatively promptly after the order. The only problem: it wasn't good. The potatoes that came with the club sandwich were completely flavorless and tasted as if they'd been cooked way earlier than morning and kept warm. French toast was soggy. Potato chips that came with the croissant sandwich were stale. No one stopped by the table to ask if we wanted refills or even how we liked the food, and a check ($50 for breakfast for four) was slapped on a table full of dirty dishes without those dishes being cleaned off. Just awful. Avoid this place. read more

Yum, yum, yum! Strawberries on an incredible Belgian Waffle - the best I have eaten in a long time! My husband had a chorizo frittata, which was also amazing! Service was exceptional and very personalized! read more

This place was EGG-Ceptionally BAD! A complete disaster. From the moment we walked in the poor service was apparent, but we were hungry so we stayed. We asked for water multiple times before it was refilled, we saw our waitress almost never. The food came, cold. Had to send it back. My over easy eggs were well done and luke warm. My waffle was cold and I had to wait 15 minutes before a new one came. They had forgotten that I sent it back and we had to remind TWO people that I still didn't have food. I will not go back, and I'd rather go to a McDonald's than here any day. read more

This is a great place for breakfast. I run in here occasionally when I am running late and couldn't cook at home, or am meeting a friend for breakfast. They can do gluten/dairy free no problem for everything that I have ordered. The staff is generally friendly and efficient, and the owner (?) always seems to be on hand to ask how you are doing. And the prices are comparable to Egg&I and other breakfast places. read more

First time here and the staff was so friendly. Was there in mid morning on a Sunday and it was relaxing. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and asked for the potatoes to be crispy. They did a great job of making them crispy and not burning them. It's a fine line and they hit it perfectly. I will be back and would not hesitate to bring friends. The variety on the menu allows everyone to find something they like. -Ron read more

California Benedict was very good. The potatoes were not. And the coffee tasted a bit burned. Solid service. Odd smell in the foyer.

I ordered an Aspen Alley skillet witch is suppose to be vegetarian, but it came loaded with sausage.
