I was very curious to eat here. My husband surprised me by ordering in during our trip. We both had coffee and a latte. He had crab eggs Benedict, which is treat for him because my allergies. He ordered me the salmon eggs Benedict. Delicious. Heaven. The service was quick. We didn't get to see the ambiance but we walked by it during our trip. It was very cozy.

I came alone on Good Friday morning. There were very few other customers when I got there. It took a couple of minutes to get seated. I was offered water and coffee promptly. I ordered and the food was out quickly. I had the smoked salmon benedict. It was a little cooler than I expected. I think the hollandaise and salmon were probably straight out of the fridge which caused the eggs to get cool quickly. The eggs and potatoes had a good flavor, though.

Great breakfast in a kind of retro coffee shop setting. This is where you got for a Denver Omelet. Food is fresh, and you get a small carafe of coffee.

Arriving in Denver starving and my aunt took me to the delectable egg and I have to say it was very good. The food was favorable, the service was on point, we never went unattended and the place was as quiet with a steady stream of people. It was clean and I could definitely see if this was closer to home. It would be a spot me and my girls crashed often for breakfast. I left the place satisfied and made sure to tell the other members of my team to check out when they arrived. They enjoyed it as well.

I ordered avocado toast, fruit and a water to go from the downtown Delectable Egg location. The toast was very bland and the bread was pretty soft which also took away from the experience. I didn't even finish it. The fruit was very fresh. The service was pleasant when I put in my order and it did come out pretty quickly. From what I could see the restaurant was also pretty busy for a weekday morning.

Great place for breakfast. Huge portions and a few vegan options. I would definitely go again. The decor reminded me of the American Legion in my rural hometown. I think it was the wall to wall carpet, wood paneling, and the guy using a manual sweeper to pick up crumbs. Delightful.

We visited the Delectable Egg while in town for a conference. Our server, Nicole, was excellent! She was polite, professional, efficient, and simply on top of everything. She was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to address food allergy questions well. Most of us figured, when in Denver.........So we ordered the Denver omelets. The one person who didn't ordered simple bacon and eggs. The one Denver omelet that was a special order for the food allergies came out as ordered. Yes! All the food was delivered in a timely manner and was hot. Admittedly, at first we weren't sure about the Denver omelet, since we agreed that we'd never seen it served with a slice of deli ham and bell pepper on top before. At first glance we thought that was the only ham and pepper, but we quickly noticed that the omelets were actually packed full of goodies. Nicole offered alternative options to the one person who couldn't have bread, which was unusual and greatly appreciated! We all agreed that we will definitely return to the Delectable Egg next time we are in Denver!

Everything was yummy! The service was impeccable. The prices are reasonable. The tea was so good we drank the whole carafe. We definitely will be back for breakfast while we are here.

I was staying nearby and came here for breakfast on a weekday when there was a large conference in town. They were moderately busy, but I was quickly seated. The breakfast menu is loaded with lots of tasty options, so much so that I had a tough time deciding. I ultimately chose their Stacked Ranchero Breakfast, which came out pretty quickly. It looked and smelled amazing and tasted great! I asked for a side of green chili with it, as I wanted to try their green chili and that had a nice spice to it. Coffee was good, so was the service. Would definitely recommend coming here, especially for a nice Mexican breakfast!

One of the few breakfast places in walking distance of the Convention Center, I ended up here by default. It's a diner. It has diner accommodations, diner food, and dining service. Actually, the service is pretty spectacular! The food and the prices met my expectations.

Very oily

Quality of the food! It is hard to ruin corned beef and hash. Too oily! Overcooked! I would substitute with something else next time.

I come here everytime i am in denver, the food is excellent, the servers are always great and attentive and the place is so clean. I will continue to come here for breakfast and always look forward to my next trip! Also, substitutions are always no problem.

Went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We were staying in downtown so the location was very convenient, just a short walk from the Hyatt. It was pretty early, there were people there but not super busy. We were seated right away and had good service. They have a drink menu which included cocktails, mimosas. I went with an Irish coffee. It was sooo good!! Probably the best I've ever had. My sister initially ordered a latte but changed her order to Irish coffee bc it was so good. For my main dish, I got the California Benedict. Delicious!! The eggs were done perfectly. It was a good portion of food. My sister ordered the Denver omelette. I had a bite and this was also super tasty. My husband ordered a frittata and he cleaned his plate! Overall a very good experience. The menu has plenty of options (including pancakes, etc for anyone who likes the sweet stuff).

Very slow service, and it's roasting hot inside at 7:30 in the morning. Doesn't really matter how the food tastes.

We also checked out the Catholic Cathedral that was nearby and all were absolutely marvelous. That said, we were pretty hungry by the time early afternoon rolled around and we headed over to Leven Deli as I heard they had the best Pastrami Rueben in the Denver area. This place was jumping when we arrived but they had plenty of seating options and we were seated pretty quickly. Happy to report that their sandwiches were out of this world. The fact that they bake their one bread; also, make their own pastrami on-site absolutely takes that sandwich over the top. It was absolutely delicious and I will possibly say it is in the top three (3) Pastrami Rueben sandwiches I have ever had. Yep, it was that good. Super fresh and an explosion of flavors to boot. We also had the Focaccia and Mozzarella Prosciutto sandwich which was delicious as well. They have a pretty extensive menu with plenty of options, coffees and home made desserts as well. The service was also very good and they were really nice as well. There is street parking available and plenty of open air and parking garages bailable as well so parking should not be a problem. Overall, we were really impressed and will be coming back for more next time we are in Denver. Feel free to stop by and check them out if you are in the area or walking in the Downtown area. I am positive you will not be disappointed. Wishing you all a great time in Denver or if you live here a great evening! Enjoy and bon appétit mes amis!

Lou's was a cute & cozy deli that made us the most amazing Italian style sandwiches. They also had home made pastas, speciality grocery items & catering. There was limited indoor seating with one table for six, some counter seating & an outdoor patio. We parked on the street. We ordered the Chicken Parm & the Fried Prosciutto BLT Sandwiches online & ate there. Our order was ready right on time & the staff were friendly & fast. The Chicken Parm was delicious - a nicely seasoned chicken cutlet with fresh mozzarella & a very flavorful marinara sauce. My favorite was the Fried Prosciutto BLT, it was fantastic. The prosciutto was crispy & was instead of bacon. In addition, there was shredded lettuce, tomato & a great tasting garlic aioli on a toasted Ciabatta Roll. I loved this place - I can't wait to go back!

From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted. The cashier was especially thoughtful and took the time to help me decide what to order for lunch. I ultimately chose the bánh mì, and it was an excellent choice. The sandwich was packed with flavor and served on a lightly toasted roll. It was easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Beyond the food, everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Well, before 6:00 at night, they had run out of the rustic loaf bread that both of our sandwiches (the Ridgeline and the Fourteener) were supposed to come on. In fact, due to a lunch rush, they had run out of the rolls several hours earlier. I guess they don't make more bread if they run out...maybe they don't make their own bread at all, but it was disappointing for a sandwich shop to run out of bread. Shouldn't that be a staple for a sandwich shop? We ended up having to just go with regular bread. I had wheat, while my daughter had sourdough. Again, don't get me wrong...both sandwiches were fine, but paying $14 for a sandwich on two slices of bread just doesn't seem worth it to me. Adding in chips and drinks (from a fountain machine where the Coke Zero exploded on you, and the Diet Coke seemed flat) for $40 wasn't a great deal. Guy at the counter was very apologetic for them running out of the rustic loaves, for what it was worth...not $40, that's for sure.
