Went here on a whim checking for a new breakfast option. SO glad we stopped here! The menu is huge and there are a ton of choices. Heavy crowds because of the proximity to downtown hotels. I've branched out into a keto diet and the husband is low-carb on a good day, but we still had plenty of choices. I wasn't a fan of the sausage links, but he loved them so I forked them over. The scrambled eggs were great, a tiny bit runny, but I honestly love soft scrambled eggs. I had a piece of gluten free toast, and while I'm sure it wasn't that keto-friendly, it was nice to have a piece of toast with my breakfast. I love that they have gluten-free options for those people with dietary restrictions/sensitivities. It's also worth mentioning that both the host and server were amazingly friendly. I can only speak for this Court Pl location. Excellent during this COVID time. I've been numerous times since summer with business travel. It is now my go to in this area whenever I'm here. I do not have experience previous, but I will for sure return going into the future. Food is fresh made and fast. Above average packaging and condiments without having to ask or request. They have adapted and thought how to best serve and operate with a positive attitude and product in these times. Outdoor tables. Delivery pickup. To go. All set up. Green eggs and ham Benedict (pesto sauce on the muffin) was good. But the home fries were under cooked. Not acceptable at a breakfast joint. I'm town on business and was looking for an amazing breakfast to get the day going. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try as it was close to our hotel. During this outing I experience mediocre food. We were hungry and needed a place to eat. The omelette had no flavor and the spinach soaked the omelette. Biggest disappointment was the house potatoes, in short term they made me not to want to come back to this "house". The potatoes were slightly burnt and the other half raw, shows a uneven cook. I was in Denver for a couple of days on business. I was staying at the Warwick Hotel but was looking for something different for breakfast. I did a Yelp search and found the Delectable Egg was within walking distance of the hotel. I was greeted with kindness and seated quickly. The restaurant was a little crowded but my waiter took my order. I ordered the my favorite breakfast which consisted of biscuits with sausage gravy, two eggs cooked to order and hash browns or home fries. I ordered my eggs over medium and hash browns. There was an option to add meat and I ordered the link sausage. When a restaurant is fairly crowded I make a mental note of how many tables are eating versus how many aren't. The his gives me a fairly accurate idea of the efficiency of the kitchen crew. I saw almost every table was eating. Good sign. I got my food quickly and dug in. The biscuits were soft and fluffy and were covered in delicious sausage gravy. The eggs were cooked perfectly! The sausage was surprisingly spicy and had been cut in half, cooked lengthwise and was good. The only small knock on this otherwise tasty breakfast was that the hash browns were just a little too greasy. If you want a delicious breakfast to start your morning in downtown Denver then the Delectable Egg will satisfy the hungry man. Wonderful coffee as well! read more

This was one of our favorite meals while visiting Denver! They had a big menu with so many delicious options that it was hard to pick. Alejandro was our server and he was so sweet. We had great conversations and he made recommendations for us. I had the cheesecake filled French toast (amazing) and my boyfriend had the breakfast steak tacos (which had the most amazing salsa on them). My side of bacon was cooked to PERFECTION. My wife and I have been ordering from here since the pandemic started. We are going to start doing pick up soon since we love it so much and want to support them more. Delectable Egg is simply delicious. It has hands down become our go-to for breakfast or brunch. They are hearty, great value, and amazingly tasty and delicious. We can't wait to meet and dine in person. If the delivery is of any indication then we can't wait to see what it's like fresh! Thank you TDE for making our Sunday mornings something to look forward to. Our typical order: meat lovers omlette for me, sunrise frittata for her. We share a side of rooster cakes. We've poked around a few other dishes but we keep coming back to those. Not because the others aren't good, but because these are simply our favorites. Took a day trip to Denver with my significant other and ate breakfast here. We read that this was a top breakfast place in the downtown area. We came here pretty early so there wasn't that many people inside which I enjoyed. The Benedict eggs were yummy. We also ordered mimosas and those were deliciously dangerous! Also: the decor in the place is very unique. The dinner area has paintings by local artists that you can actually buy. Love to see a place supporting local artists. However - I didn't expect the jelly plastic container Denver Omeletteto be in the gravy on one entree and in the cheese on another. We also didn't receive any plastic wear which was requested. Additionally one of the entrees had a short thick black hair in the egg. I called and spoke with the assistant manager Allie and she did they offered to remake but not deliver. Based on their approach to customer service, I suggest they rename this establishment 'The Aggressive Egg', or perhaps 'The Angry Egg'. Between the shirty waiter and the extremely rude and confrontational manager, this place has provided comfortably the worst dining experience I've ever had in America. Half our breakfast arrived cold. That's fine - these things happen. We were in a hurry and didn't have time to take them up on their passive aggressively delivered offer of remaking it (which they said would take another 15 minutes), so we suggested to the waiter that he removed the dishes in question from our bill, to which he agreed. One of our party attempted to eat half, the other left his untouched. When the check arrived without the promised deductions, we politely queried it. Rather than simply apologizing and honoring the promise, the manager chose to respond by raising her voice, belligerently telling us it was our own fault that we'd eaten some of the cold food and that it didn't look like we were in a hurry. I quote (with raised voice and angry gesticulation): "In the time you've spent arguing with me, we could have remade your food." Just when I thought I'd seen it all, while my two friends were standing talking to the increasingly enraged manager and calmly trying to resolve the situation, the waiter aggresively bustled past and curtly told one of them to get out of his way. There was plenty of room and only around 5 other diners in the restaurant anyway - he was just irritably making a point. I've never seen an incident so spectacularly mishandled by a manager in the food service industry (and I'm from the UK, so I've seen more than my fair share). She started out with passive aggression and culminated in overt rudeness, and did everything she could to escalate the situation along the way. Although eventually the offending items were deducted from our bill as originally promised, this was very far from the delectable dining experience we had hoped for. In a word? Horrible! Just so this review isn't all doom and gloom, I'll end on a positive note: the locally made Sriracha sauce they have in there is BANGING. read more

I'm just going to list what was wrong plain and simple I ordered the french toast royal and my husband a burger it wasn't even hot when we got it. The royal: There were two different foreign objects in my eggs my french toast had little eggshells on it bacon was a little over cooked then what I had asked for The burger: So my husband asked if he could build his own so when substitutions could have been made we got charged for it, there was stuff on it he didn't ask for the potatoes that came with his burger were gross we got our check 5 minutes after we had just gotten out food the feel of being rushed much. for being a Saturday at 10:00 and you don't even have a wait except for going out the door what are you doing wrong and I wanted to see if this place was better then I was told, they were right i should have gone to mcd's down the street. read more

Sometimes on Sunday morning, I don't feel like changing out of my yoga pants and just want a good ole American breakfast. If you know those feels, then The Delectable Egg is where you should head. My boyfriend swears by the breakfast sandwiches here. I almost always get the Denver omelette. The omelettes are filled with veggies and served with hash browns and toast/English muffin. Being from New England, I always opt for the EM. It's buttered and grilled, just like at home. The coffee is exactly what your expect from a place like this and is served in a silver carafe that is left of the table so you can keep your cup full. They do have a bar and offer your typical brunch drinks including bottomless mimosas ($15/person) We usually split a carafe of mimosa which is the perfect amount to take the edge off of last nights hangover, but doesn't deter me from getting my Sunday grocery shopping done. read more

It was so thick and did not even taste like there was any vodka at all, I felt like I was just drinking cold soup. My friend does love bloody Mary's but she completely agrees that they were not good. As far as the food goes it was just mediocre at best and as nice as our server was he completely messed up my friends order. I had an omelette which had mushrooms (I think there was one in there), bacon, peppers and cheese and was really mostly just eggs and cheese, barely any of the other items. The hash browns were again nothing special and my biscuit seriously tasted like baking soda. Outside of the Mary and the biscuit nothing else was terrible but it just really wasn't good either. I chose this for my one "good" breakfast while in town for a conference instead of my usual banana and coffee on the go. I was so happy I chose it instead of the other options! I love that they bring an entire carafe of coffee and water to the table even for just one person - I hate waiting forever on coffee refills. I chose the Market Street omelette which is essentially a veggie omelette with seasoned potatoes. You have a selection of breads to choose from (I went with wheat toast). The omelette was wonderful and the potatoes were crisp. This place would have received 5 stars but the waiter was a bit standoffish (although I did receive everything I asked for) and they left all of the remaining table settings instead of clearing them which made for a cluttered dining experience.
