I love how you can order and pay for your food first rather than waiting on someone to take your order and then after waiting on your check. I ordered the English breakfast which was even better than the real deal in England. Everything was seasoned and so flavorful. Sure the prices were a little high but so well worth it. My vanilla latte with oat milk was so adorable with the beat art. We got a cookie and scone to go afterwards and let me just say as a cookie aficionado this was by far the best chocolate chip cookie I ever ate. The food was fresh and delicious! Beautiful presentation and incredible taste. The service was incredible and the establishment was clean and well decorated! I've been going to The Corner Pantry for breakfast for years, easily 20+ visits, and this is the first time I've ever been disappointed. Their cheddar biscuit, potatoes, and sausage roll are some of my absolute favorites, which is why this is still a 3-star review instead of lower. Today we decided to switch things up and try the French toast. At $17.50 it felt like a splurge, but it was Valentine's Day and their food has always felt worth it before. We ordered takeout, and when we got home we were surprised to find what was roughly a 2" x 2" cube of French toast, smaller than the marshmallow on top. The size was disappointing, and unfortunately the taste didn't make up for it. After eating it, we were even less excited about the choice. Their other gluten-free offerings are consistently delicious, so I can't chalk this up to that. This just felt like a big miss in both price and quality. I'm on a tour of cafes in the city to experience the best teas, pastries, and spaces to work. This is probably number six on my tour so far. I had no issues finding the location or with finding parking, which is always a plus! Upon entering, I noticed how small the area is to order food. Although it's not a big deal for me, I do worry about how accommodating it is/isn't for customers with fuller body types. Something for them to consider. The cashier immediately greeted me and offered a handheld menu, which was helpful because I left my glasses in the car lol There was a plethora of food options for a cafe. I was torn between a seasonal option and a regularly offered option. I eventually went with the egg and cheese biscuit with avocado. I wanted tea, but the options they had were standard teas, so I stuck with water. The water is complimentary and self-serve. Seating is on the other side of the area where orders are placed. It's a super cute area! Because I love natural light, I chose a cute bench near the window. Unfortunately, similar to the area where you order, the seating may not be as accommodating for customers with fuller body types. My food came out quickly. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and I really enjoyed the flavor and texture of the biscuit. On the other hand, I didn't care for the avocado on the sandwich. Next time, I'll order without that addition. Overall, I'd revisit this place again to pick up an egg and biscuit sandwich to go but not to drink tea or work. Basically you arrive, get in a line to order your food (there are some items available to go on their grab and go refrigerated section) and they give you a table number. When we queued up there was a line but it moved pretty quick. I got a toffee scone, strawberry matcha latte and a gravlax toast. My bf got a mushroom naan and a strawberry rhubarb pastry. I enjoyed my food but I did find the scone to be a touch too... dry and crumbly? And I didn't quite enjoy the roe on my gravlax toast. It kind of gave a bitter flavor contrast with the sweet beets on it. My bf did enjoy his mushroom naan shawarma and his pastry item. I'd be open to coming back and trying other items on the menu. I've had Corner Pantry in the past when the parents at the school I work for orders us catered breakfast. Their French toast bakes, egg casseroles, and scones with the berry compote are my faves. I came here recently because one of the parents gave me a gift card. I treated myself to some breakfast. I was disappointed because the items I've had are only available for catering. Instead, I ordered a full order of pancakes to go. It came with apple butter, creme fraiche, shortbread crumble, and syrup. They pancakes were just ok. I definitely could have used more syrup, as they only give you one 2oz cup. I think if I visit again, it would just be for a pastry. read more

I have been wanting to have breakfast/brunch at The Corner Pantry for forever, and we finally made it this past Saturday. The Corner Pantry is a British cafe and bakery, and I really love their menu. There are some British classics: Welsh Rarebit, crumpets (including a crumpet breakfast sandwich with treacle butter), eggs with soldiers, Full English breakfast, scones, sausage rolls, Cornish pasties, other "bits and bobs." I had one of their bits and bobs - a very healthy breakfast of cucumber (halved), with cream cheese, cured salmon, pickled onion, and lemon zest. My husband had a biscuit sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese. He also got a chocolate chip scone for later. And we had a cappuccino and a London Fog (which was maybe a teensy bit too sweet), too. I wanted everything from their pastry display case. Literally, everything. Their pastries and beautiful and had lots of seasonal flavors. The restaurant is beautiful (it was just renovated) - very simple, classic, clean. It definitely gets packed. We were there around 9:30 on a Saturday. After ordering and getting our number for the table, we waited to find an open table. Because the food comes quickly, tables did open up pretty quickly, too. We grabbed a table as a group got up (they cleaned the table so fast), and were enjoying our breakfast within minutes. That brings me to the other A+ part of The Corner Pantry: the service. Their staff are wonderful! Because it gets so busy, I wouldn't say it's your best option for a leisurely breakfast (I didn't want to sit too long since people who were arriving after us needed a table to enjoy their breakfasts at), but it's a great spot for breakfast. I briefly stopped in this past Saturday to grab a quick bite, because I utilize the stretch zone in the same shopping center and had some time to kill before my appointment. And this place was packed at 12 noon. Don't be alarmed the line moved expeditiously. I just grabbed a cheddar biscuit on this visit, but can I say that was the best biscuit I've had in a long time. Their menu is pretty extensive from delicious breakfast sandwiches to egg platters and fluffy pancakes, a wonderful assortment of pastries to a bevy of salads and sandwiches. I will be returning because I would love to try other menu items. The service was phenomenal here and the staff is very courteous and helpful. Will definitely be returning. So I was able to return last Saturday for lunch and tried the TCP turkey sandwich. Hands down the best turkey sandwich I have had in a long time. They use toasted ciabatta bread and it is just a good mix of white cheddar, avocado, crisp salad greens with charred jalapeño aioli. And it comes with their house made chips with malt vinegar, yum. The place was jumping at 1:45 pm on Friday. The front parking lot and the interior of the building were crowded. Fortunately we were there to get some carryout snacks. I didn't see any handicap spots so I pulled into one of the two carry out parking spaces and climbed up the steps to get into the building. Getting to the counter past the crowd of people to order was not too difficult and our order proceeded quickly. It's got a great airy, bright vibe for eating in and most everything I've had has been tasty. If I had one complaint, it's that there are no non pork breakfast meat options, not even vegan substitutes. Would love to see a turkey bacon, chicken or vegan sausage, etc. I do believe the prices are a bit inflated-I think $15 for a cup of soup or over $20 for lunch menu items is pushing it. read more

With so many good things to say about The Corner Pantry, I don't know where to begin. I recently got to visit The Corner Pantry during a girl's lunch and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience. Before digging into our appetizers we munched on some chocolate chip cookies, which to me were heaven. Chocolaty chunks in a crispy, butter cookie, perfectly baked. What more could you ask for? As we muddled on what to eat we asked one of the servers about some menu items, and she was literally the best at giving us the information we needed to make a decision. Checking in with the chefs to confirm what she told us was right, giving food recommendations, and even later checking to see how we enjoyed our food, even though she wasn't our server and was finishing up her shift for the afternoon. We settled on the hassleback carrots as an appetizer and the flavors blew us away. For a vegetable to have so much flavor and a meaty taste was amazing. We also tried the crispy potato & bacon bits, which were also another delectable dish. For my main selection I got the smoked turkey sandwich. Which was good but could've used a little more seasoning and would've faired better on softer bread such as focaccia over ciabatta. Outside of that critique, we loved everything about The Corner Pantry and basking in the beautiful sun in their outdoor seating. I definitely can't wait for my next visit. read more

Checked out Corner Pantry, and saw a plentiful array for different options. I gravitated to the chocolate chip cookie and the earl grey cream chocolate chip cookies. Presentation was great and customer service was quick and efficient. The chocolate chip early grey cream cookie was okay but wasn't what I was expecting. The cream didn't taste of earl grey. The cookies themselves weren't that soft. The chocolate chip cookie was good after reheating it. Despite my initial experience I'd try again if the opportunity presented itself. read more

Corner Pantry is hands down one of our favorite coffee shops in Baltimore. The food is AMAZING and their customer service is stellar. I usually get the skinny egg (a great vegetarian option), while my boyfriend (meat lover) is in love with the all day egg. I also enjoy their chai latte (notably definitely on the sweeter side) and can never resist trying their pastries from a delicious (and aesthetically pleasing) variety. It was crowded and noisy inside, but still pleasant, with lots of natural lighting and the tables don't feel jammed in. They also had plenty of outdoor seating. You order at the counter, but servers bring your food. I ordered the Coronation Chicken and my grandson ordered the Egg Sandwich in a Cheddar Biscuit. I'm not sure if it's like this everyday, but if crowds are an issue for you I'd advise stopping by after 10:30. I didn't try any of the baked goods but I would love to the next time because they look and smell amazing. Corner pantry recently renovated and updated their restaurant by expanding. And it's awesome! They have delicious breakfast and lunch (as always) (I've never been for dinner), and my fav part, a plethora of gluten free options (the brioche is amazing). I've had their chips (cinnamon and salt and deliciously crunchy) and gf fried chicken at a catered event though and they are also a 10/10. The salads and pastries are amazing. The coffee is decent (not my favorite -- but I'm a tough critic), and the service is beyond excellent. The people who work there are constantly asking to refill your coffee and iced tea, clean the tables, and help in whatever way possible. If there is a better place to go for brunch or lunch, I haven't found it. They're only negative? They aren't open on Sundays! Ha! I wish we could stop in on our way to/from the Coppermine sports complex on Sundays! Obviously I'll be back 100 more times. read more

Wow wow wow! I came up from Northern VA because I have school here, and there was a 2 hour delay (I didn't get the memo) and had time to kill. I stopped by here and just wanna say that the neighborhood is nice here--has that industrial feel. Added with the snow it actually made it feel like Christmas. I ordered their Matcha Latte and was bewildered how flavorful it was. You can actually taste the other notes of flavor they add into the matcha. I also got their prosciutto sandwich because it had fig jam in it. No regrets, it was a good devour now or save it for lunch treat. Highly recommend this place! read more

Went on Saturday morning before heading over to Lake Roland Park. Avocado toast was amazing, and fills you up. It tasted so fresh, and the portion was large. It does seem to get pretty busy around peak cafe hours, but they have tons of outside seating, which means dog friendly!! Those also had carry out parking if you were just stopping by. Considering the long lines, they kept it moving and the service was friendly! Also they text you when your orders ready, so you can sit outside and go in when it's ready. A must stop if you want a bite to eat or a drink before having an afternoon/early morning enjoying Roland Park!! read more

The mango chutney and the curried chicken differentiate this sandwich, and the high quality bread brings it all together. Wish they had a bigger menu so I could try their take on more dishes! I've been meaning to try the Corner Pantry for a while and finally made it out here on a free morning. I put in a take out order online and went to go pick it up. They have a large parking lot, which made it super easy. For take out orders, you can go into the door to the right and pick up your order right off the shelf without having to stand in line. They let you know in your email receipt as well as a text they send you to let you know your order is ready. It makes pick up/take out so much easier. Corner Pantry opens at 8 am on Saturday's. I walked in at 8:30 am, and it was very busy already. This is clearly a great family restaurant and very popular among the neighborhood. There was a line to order and almost all the tables were taken. It was very loud and busy, but still had the comforts of a great neighborhood restaurant. I loved all the baked goods and pastries on display. I ordered the full English breakfast, a half order of the pancakes (all the toppings on the side), the breakfast sandwich on a cheddar biscuit with bacon, a donut, and a sausage roll. My husband liked the breakfast sandwich the best! It was a little too salty for me, but it was huge and looked great. I would go with scrambled eggs in the breakfast sandwich next time instead of the over easy for a less messy sandwich (unless that's your thing!). The donut was also a stand out for us. The English breakfast was fun, we loved the mushroom it came with. It's a bit out of the way for us, but I would definitely go back and try more of their lunchy items. read more

The corner pantry is one of my gluten free hot spots in Baltimore, without a doubt. I dream about the green tea, vanilla, and black sesame muffin on a regular basis. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating - it appears a little packed at times on the inside so I'm glad outdoor is an option (curious what it looks like in the winter). When outside, they also have a water station which is great for the summer. The fact that I could have a delicious gluten free breakfast sandwich here is reason enough for me to return, but the pastries, drinks, ambiance, and staff are also wonderful! read more

My boyfriend is English and has been on the hunt for English basin. He had been to The Corner Pantry before so we decided to give it a try. We got there about 15 minutes after they opened and they were already very busy so it seemed promising. The establishment is on the smaller side so it's somewhat difficult to move around the servers, busers, and people waiting in line without bumping into someone. The service was incredibly friendly and very efficient. I ordered the All Day Egg and Cheese sandwich on a cheddar biscuit and added English bacon. My boyfriend ordered Eggs and Soldiers with a side of English bacon and bread. We also split an order of fries. The sandwich was good but the biscuit was very big and thick. I would say it was double in size compared to a regular biscuit. The size made is rather difficult to eat. And I wasn't able to finish it as it was very filling. Boyfriend said the Eggs and Soldiers were very good but that the bacon was not quite English bacon. He said it was cooked longer than English bacon usually is. The fries were amazing. Incredibly crispy and nicely seasoned with herbs. We'd go back again. I think I would try something different. I'm interested in trying the buttermilk pancakes. read more

The space is so poorly laid out (and this is after a renovation), with people crammed in a tiny corner by a fire extinguisher waiting for drinks, and one lady walking online orders and to go orders all the way across a crowded space. Waited 25 mins for a cafe au lait. They only knew how to help people who had ordered online and could care less about people who ordered in the store. In the end, I HAD TO LEAVE WITHOUT MY DRINK.
