I really did Terri a disservice not photographing our meal ahead of time so I want to make sure the review is up to snuff! Let's dive in right in! Terri's Cafe is situated in an area you'd likely least expect it. And don't let Google Drive bc it took us to the back side which is very industrial loading zone-y! Apple Maps had us move around the building and lo and behold Terri's is indeed there and open! We walked into a very clean and organized little cafe with a bright shining smile behind the counter. Terri herself greeted us and welcomed us in. She showed us the ropes and we ordered at the counter before we decided on a place to sit. While we waited for our order Terri brought us two fresh cookies (YUM!!) and all the fixings for our breakfast. We ordered the Southwest Omelet and French Toast. Let me just say you can't go wrong with either option! Terri ensured every aspect of our meal was perfect, and as someone who eats at restaurants all over the country and is a French toast enthusiast, Terri's food is perfect. The thick French Bread was a perfect carrier for her French toast. The thick slices caused us to pause because the last several places had thick toast that ended up tasting like plain bread. Terri's French toast does not fall flat! It holds the flavors you want with French toast, is soft and fluffy, and oh so delicious! The omelette was also delicious with large pieces of bacon, beautiful avocado, and a nice sauté on the vegetables. The best part of Terri's was hands down the service, they know your name, they ask you questions, and absolutely welcome you into the family when you step in these doors. I'd absolutely stop by Terri's again any time I was in the area. This is a restaurant that should be supported by locals and tourists alike! Everyone deserves a meal at Terri's! What a wonderful surprise! I happened to be in the area around lunchtime and saw Terri's on Yelp. Everything about this local spot was amazing. I was welcomed into the restaurant and helped through the menu. Everyone was super friendly. I ordered a buttermilk chicken sandwich. It was fresh and delicious ... a bit too big for me to finish. I'm so excited to have found this hidden gem!! I came needing a straightforward breakfast of eggs and bacon but decided to do the pancake platter with eggs and bacon instead because the price was too good! Since I couldn't have the pancakes (dietary restrictions), I knew they'd be perfect to bring to my husband who later said they were one of the best pancakes he's ever had! They looked so fluffy I was so jealous!! But still, I was more than satisfied with my bacon and eggs. I asked for over medium eggs and got it exactly how I wanted it, the whites were cooked throughout and the yolk, runny and delicious. The bacon was cooked perfectly and not too greasy. Everything was hot and fresh - even the fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookie that was the perfect ratio of soft, chewy, but not flimsy! I've only come here a handful of times but I absolutely love the food here especially the chocolate chip cookies! My go to is the French toast platter with eggs and sausage on the side. What a hidden gem!!! Traveling through and yelped a place for breakfast. At first we were a little confused because it is in an industrial park, tucked back. Do not let location deter you!! Terri's Café is in the business park area and we stopped in here for lunch when we were nearby visiting the VEIP emissions inspection station. This homey little place was so good, however, I would make the trip over here just for the food. They have a big selection of breakfast dishes sandwiches and bowls as well as specials. We had jerk chicken bowl that came with a variety of tasty sauces, and a special panini that was one of the best chicken sandwiches I ever had. Terri's Cafe is tucked in a business center in Owings Mills off Crondall Ln. this was my second time visiting and I tried out their Peruvian Grilled Chicken Bowl. In addition to the romaine lettuce and avocado, there were mushrooms, peppers, zucchini, black beans, and onions as the vegetables all served over rice. The green sauce served as a great vessel to enhance the flavors when mixed in with the veggies, chicken, and rice. The customer service was great. They made it a point to get to know their customers and their names which I appreciated. That's something to me which makes you feel special. Finishing off my meal was freshly baked chocolate chip cookies which is ALWAYS the way to my heart! They were SO tasty! All in all, I had a great second experience at Terri's Cafe in Owings Mills. I've been sitting on this review for a few months, y'all. I wanted to do it right and I think I'm ready. Have you ever been to a dinner theater or interactive meal venue? This was my latest experience at Teri's Cafe, a cute little restaurant in a small, unassuming strip mall, conveniently located near the MVA emissions station in Owings Mills. I had hosted a group of ladies on a tour of the MPT facility not far away and wanted them to try Teri's because I had been here before and knew the food to be consistently delicious and affordable. Here we came, ten middle to late age women with a hankering for reasonably priced sandwiches in a place with free parking and a table large enough to accommodate us all. As we lined up and Teri began taking our orders, guess who appeared? Teri's husband? Partner? Co-owner? I have yet to figure out the relationship, but he's a master of customer satisfaction and engagement. He emerged with conversation. Then with cookies to sample. Then with house made kettle chips. Then with French Toast to share. And fresh fruit cups. And soda! More and more conversation! He had the ladies at the first Heath Bar Candy Cookie, and kept them all the way through the chips. Somewhere in between, I enjoyed the Chicken Tzatziki Wrap which blew my mind. Loaded with chunks of fresh chicken and Tzatziki yogurt sauce rolled into a fresh pita, this wrap was fire, y'all. He said he was Greek. I could tell. We WRAPped up (see what I did there?) our meals with a group photo of him and our ladies group. All smiling and ready to embrace the day with positive attitudes and warm feels for the experience he provided here. By the ride home, the ladies were no longer excitedly reminiscing about our tour of the MPT station, we were joyfully recounting our experience at Teri's Cafe. I am baffled by the high ratings of this place. The food is nothing spectacular. I'm disappointed I dropped nearly $45, too. I could have made a better breakfast at home. I specifically asked for "whipped" scrambled eggs, because some cafes have a habit of frying egg yoke and passing that off as a scrambled egg when it's really an omelete. You will notice their bond with Stevenson University students as they have pictures all over the cafe. They talk to you about their specials and can give you a run down about any meal they prepare! Once you order they normally hand you some fresh baked cookies or their fresh fruit of the day! When your meal comes out they ask you how everything is and ensure you are full before you go home! This is a great little neighborhood jewel breakfast and lunch café. I found it because I was in the neighborhood at lunch time, and I asked Google Maps to find me a nearby restaurant. Even though I had read a bunch of great reviews, this place exceeded my expectations. I had a Philly cheese steak, not on the typical sub roll like they serve them in Philadelphia, but on thick toasted bread. It came with a side dish, either fries, homemade potato chips, or a fruit cup. I selected the fruit cup. The fruit turned out to be seedless watermelon. The sandwich was delicious, and the watermelon was very good. My wife had a spring / summer salad which turned out to be a salad with lots of different fruits. She enjoyed it. The other couple with us both had a vegetarian wrap, which they both enjoyed, and a side of fries. I tasted the fries and they were quite tasty. I asked about the homemade potato chips. I have seen other restaurants advertise homemade chips and have seen them spill the chips out of the kind of bag that factory made chips come in. Not Terri's. Here they make the potato chips in the kitchen to order, not in advance. They offered to make an order of potato chips for me. The chips were delicious. Came here for lunch 1/3/19. I had the 3 cheese rib eye steak melt. It was on Texas toast, plenty of cheese, and plenty of steak shavings. Outstanding. My wife had a salad topped with the best chicken salad she's ever had. I've been a student at Stevenson for three years and one of the first things I heard about when I transferred was this place that goes by the name of "Terri's Cafe." Of course, I had no idea what everyone was talking about and for awhile I had no idea where the place was located. But one day, before a lacrosse game our coach treated us to lunch at Terri's and I fell in love. I ordered a Chicken Chesapeake when I was there and HOLY COW IT WAS DELICIOUS! Extremely huge and the portions are huge! Regardless of what you buy you definitely get more bang for your buck. Since then, I made it a ritual to try and go at least once a week with my friends. So much so that during my Junior year, a couple of my friends I shared a class with made it so we would all go every Tuesday afternoon because the class would let out at around 12pm and we would all grab lunch and chat about that day's lecture. The employees and owners are extremely nice and the food is always piping hot! If you are a regular the owners will know you and will treat you like family! On top of that, Stevenson students get a discount by showing their ID and they take FLEX (Stevenson kids will know what I mean). Their home cooked food and friendly atmosphere is fantastic and it's no wonder why so many Stevenson students love Terri's!
