This black woman owned business was amazing. Every menu item made fresh upon order. Her staff was so kind and patient. One of the best cups of coffee I've had from a restaurant in a long time. Absolutely delicious brunch food ! (not diet food thats for sure ) The snickerdoodle french toast, brisket sandwich, deviled eggs, grits, home fries and drinks were all amazing. Best deviled eggs Ive ever had. I don't even like home fries but the flavor was perfect. Snickerdoodle iced coffee and the ginger tea was also soo good but VERY sweet. Service was good and owner was very nice. Only taking one star because of the size of the cafe itself and they don't serve brunch cocktails- i like a mimosa with brunch personally. Came across this place from a fellow yelper. Reviews and menu looked good. Decided to try here one morning before work. When I first walked it wasn't crowded at all. Only one other customer in front of me. Great, I was gonna be in and out. I placed my order and it was going to be a 30 minute wait! Wasn't in too much of a rush so the wait didn't bother me much but still wondered why a 30 minute wait if it was just me and one other person. Online orders is what made the wait a little longer so I understood. I ordered the snickerdoodle French toast platter. Comes with 2 sides. My choice was eggs and bacon. The French toast is sweet but at the right level. I tried a few pieces with syrup and that too it to overload sweetness. IMO it didn't need syrup. It's good without it. You get a generous amount of bacon and the eggs were on point as well. They sell a lot of local products in the store from cookbooks, seasonings, sauces and candles. Passed by this place yesterday and was curious, so I looked them up today and ordered breakfast. The online ordering was easy, and the food was prepared and waiting when I arrived. The shop is so cute! Lots of sweets like cupcakes, popcorn, and brittle. Customer service was great. The woman at the counter was helpful with my questions and told me about upcoming events, like a jazz show. We got the snickerdoodle French toast, and the breakfast sandwich. Both were really delicious. The photo doesn't do the sandwich justice at all, but it was great. The red velvet cheesecake wasn't my favorite, but it was ok. The menu changes over for lunch, so I'm looking forward to trying some other menu items. read more

They make French toast the way I like! Thin size bread, not mushy, but not thick & fluffy! Just perfect for me. The taste was so satisfying! At first, I was mad that they gave me that lil bit of syrup, but after tasting the French toasts solo, it was no need to put syrup on'em. I crushed in about 3 bites. They are sweet but "perfectly sweet" if that makes sense. I'll definitely be back to try the entire menu. I wanted to order the shrimp & grits, but I had a gym session coming up. The owner was amazing. I received my food in a reasonable time. I found about this place from instagram. I like the concept they have of sharing the kitchen with a couple different businesses. Once I saw snickerdoodle French toast on the menu, I had to try it. I ordered that with the cheese eggs and turkey sausage for my breakfast. I also got a snickerdoodle banana pudding and snickerdoodle cookie for later. I love this café so much! Everything looks so delicious, and the coffee is roasted by an in-house roaster. The customer service here is amazing! Everyone is super kind and so outgoing. The cafe itself is super cute and they also have lots of options. I didn't like the shrimp and grits the sausage wasn't cooked enough for me but the French toast was amazing and so was the apple spiced tea!
