The highlight of this restaurant is that it spins so you can see different parts of the city. The food was good and a nice quality but nothing spectacular or exciting. I had the whipped ricotta with Noble Bread and enjoyed doing something I've wanted to do since I was a kid.

Came to the Compass after the Nutcracker at Symphony Hall. We did not have a reservation and they were able to seat us right away (Sunday around 815pm). We just wanted dessert and coffee and they were able to accommodate. Service was as quick and our food came out quickly. We ordered three of the four desserts on the menu for our party of five and a cappuccino. Our server was very personable. The view cannot be beat and the green glow of the Christmas light provided a holiday feel to our visit.

Came here for a little celebration and it's so fun and unique. Although the menu is on the smaller/pricier side, the experience itself is worth it. I recommend coming around sunset time since the whole restaurant rotates and seeing the valley from all angles at that time of day is gorgeous. Our waiter was super friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. Hopefully I can find time to return!

Having to ask for a window seat was annoying when we were the first in the restaurant, had reservations and it was our anniversary. Nick our server was great. We enjoyed the overcast view since that is a novelty in Phoenix. The marrow was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was way more than the tablespoon of marrow I had at Prime (Shula Steakhouse) that was a complete ripoff. I would have preferred the toast not being burned on one side. The meal was surprisingly good as we had stopped coming years ago when the fair was sub par. The ribeye was thin so it was definitely not medium rare. The creamed/mashed potatoes were delicious as was the scallops and risotto. My husband is enamored with the dulce/maple panna cotta dessert. He has already bought ingredients so we can start making basic panna cotta at home. A repeatable meal

This is one of my favorite restaurants, and I am writing this review about a year later because the experience still means a lot to me. The staff here helped my current boyfriend set up a girlfriend proposal, and it turned into one of those moments you never forget. It was thoughtful, personal, and handled with so much care. This was also one of my first introductions to more formal, elevated food, and I loved every part of it. We shared the burrata shown in the photo, which was amazing. I ordered the shrimp and grits and still think about it. I honestly cannot remember the cocktails we had, but I do remember that everything we ordered was good. I do wish I had tried the bone marrow, since friends later told me it is incredible. What makes this place special to me is that the experience cannot really be recreated. It marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life, and that was made possible by the care and attention from the staff at The Compass. I will always be grateful for that.

We enjoyed an incredible dinner at The Compass In Phoenix for my daughter's birthday. Honestly the best duck breast I've ever had! Rotating views were incredible, Service was superb and the food was outstanding. Can't wait to come back and try their next seasonal menu, great job everyone!

the atmosphere was horrible!!!!! There was a table (next to us) with 4 women who were screaming and using bad language. We asked the waitress if she could speak to them to lower their voices since we were expecting a romantic and quiet evening and they keep screaming, it actually felt like a circus with 4 hyenas laughing and swearing at the top of their lungs. To make matters worse, at that table there was a woman who took off her shoes and put her feet on the chair--it was truly disgusting. The worst part is that the staff couldn't do anything and our special night was ruined!!!! now when we remember our 5th anniversary I will always have a bitter memory. Ps: the woman on the pink flowered dress was saying (screaming loud) she is with a married man, if you know her and she knows your man BE CAREFUL!! Could be you lol. She's asking her "boyfriend" to get divorce. That loud they were talking, swearing and laughing we all know her business now.

What an amazing experience on a rainy day! I went with a friend of mine to celebrate an event. We had drinks at the bar downstairs until the restaurant opened on the 24th floor. We were greeted at the entrance of the restaurant and seated. The service was excellent, and the server went through the items on the menu and explained all the dishes. We got the oysters for a starter. Simply delicious! For dinner I ordered the scallops and my friend got the fillet. The scallops were delicious. They came on a bed of risotto, about five or six scallops. We dined from sunset until it got dark as the restaurant rotated overlooking the city lights. Overall, it was an excellent experience with friendly service, excellent ambience and delicious food. I would highly recommend this location.

Five star view and two star food. On a Sunday night, we asked for bar seats and were happily instead seated at a window table for two. We ordered drinks and enjoyed looking out at the city lights. We'd forgotten how neat revolving restaurants can be. Now for the bad news. We'd already had a snack at a prior restaurant so we decided to split their calamari. While the spicy sauce was really good, the calamari were below average. Some were rubber bands and all had too much batter. Come for the view and drinks but maybe be cautious of the food.

It's been 5yrs since we were here. Gave it another try. Calimari and Boreta was tasty. Matt our server was spot on with the cocktails and dinner service. Ordered the 14oz Ribeye off menu.....absolutely delicious. Wife ordered the 10oz filet...absolutely delicious. Daughter ordered the gnocchi....very good. The chef here is next level amazing. What an amazing meal. Oh and the views were great too!

It was easy to make a reservation online and there was ample availability. When we were seated, we requested a window seat to which we were told there is a special reservation required. We made a "dining room reservation" online so be sure to scroll down on the reservation page to make a "guaranteed window seat reservation" if you want a better view (we would have done that if we had scrolled down and seen that option). The elevator ride up was really fun and you could see out across the city. Once we reached the 24th floor, a strong fishy smell permeated the air which was kind of gross but we got used to it quickly. We arrived just before 6pm and the dining room was fairly empty. We had about an hour of beautiful daylight/sunset to enjoy spinning around before it started to get dark and crowded. The menus were splattered with sticky residue. If the menus are the first thing we see and they are dirty, what else is dirty? We ordered the Oaxacan Sunshine which I was hoping would be a little more robust on the coffee flavor and it was pretty sweet. We also tried the Rooftop Rendezvous which was sickeningly sweet and came garnished with a fuzzy moldy blueberry. The server was receptive when we asked to have the drinks remade without the sweetener. When I showed him the blueberry, he replied with "okay, perfect" and walked away. There is nothing okay or perfect about moldy food being served at a high end restaurant. LOL! The dirty menus and the moldy food really made me question the quality and safety of the food there. The brussels sprouts appetizer was the best. The citrus ricotta was amazing and the portion was quite large. The mussels were fishy and sandy with an abundance of chorizo that tasted like a hot dog - do not recommend. The land and sea was a lovely presentation. The ribeye was gray in color but was tender and tasted good. There were two scallops; I was hoping for more based on the price. The broccolini was crunchy and the mashed potatoes were smooth but did not taste like truffle at all. The chocolate raspberry baked Alaska wasn't really basked Alaska but it was good. The chocolate cake is GF and it wasn't too sweet. Two stars based on the service and quality of food. You're paying for the view which is amazing. But for me, the experience should be so much more.

Amazing views! Atmosphere is almost a little too dark and the food is very good, but not sure if it's $250 for a couple's dinner kind of good. I would recommend going once for sure just to see the panoramic views of the city. read more

The view was awesome and I can't believe this place turns while you sit there. The food is just ok. Mine was decent, the wifey said her chicken sandwich was nasty. You'll find much better food elsewhere for half the price but probably won't find as nice of a view of Phoenix anywhere else. Hope they revamp their menu and step their food game up in the future. read more

Made reservations week in advance for a Wednesday a party of 3, asked for a window cause it was a birthday celebration.We arrived and no window seats were available so we sat across the aisle. Luckly, the W i n d o w Table across from us was never used, cause they said they were"busy" and so our view wasn't obstructed. Our server was nice but not engaged due to all the tables she had to wait on. Food was not worth the prices they charge. I had the steak medallion's $35 for three pieces and some grilled potatoes $13. Easily I could have enjoyed a huge ribeye anywhere else. Bare minimum service, no follow up, just the bill. The only hook is the views you get, and plan for sundown, cause anytime before you'll get blinded for 30 mins. If you're a tourist, it's worth the one and done.... read more

The view was awesome! Good food and service was great! A little pricey but you are paying for the experience. If you've never been here definitely recommend it you won't be disappointed. We went right before sunset so we could see the view while the sun was still up but experience the nighttime view as well. read more

Our service was great. Place has a neat atmosphere. Food was good but not near the level they are attempting to deliver. Steak was 4 atars...au gratin potatoes 1 star. Goat cheese fritter, dessert and martini 5 stars. Not sure they have anything to do with valet so dudnt considee in ratung but the cost and tge fact yiu must have cash seemed a little ridiculous. read more

This business is very nice and the view looks great but we just didn't have the best time. I celebrated my birthday dinner at compass grill and they took over an hour for our food, my ribeye was filled with fat and was inedible, my crab Mac and cheese was cold. The servers there need to be more informative snd who Ever is training them need to be fired. Do not come to the location if u want a good time. I will never dine here again! read more

As others have said, the rotating view is the star of this restaurant, everything else was very disappointing. The food is overpriced and underwhelming, and the service was terrible. I waited almost an hour before I received a glass of wine. The first wine I ordered I was told 20 minutes later was unavailable. I asked to sample another brand and received that 20 minutes later. It didn't taste great, so I asked to sample another brand and received that 10 minutes later. Then I ordered a glass and finally received that 10 minutes later. Ugh!!! We ordered the Compass salad and that arrived before my wine too. It was so bland and forgettable. The dressing had zero flavor. Our entrees, the salmon and seafood pasta, were just okay. Our server, David, kept apologizing for the service but did nothing to accommodate it's lacking. I can imagine that he did not receive very good training. This is all on the management. The best part was staring out the window and watching the sunset. I would recommend coming only for drinks to this establishment. It's worth a $17 glass of wine, but don't pay for a meal here. read more

I was a bit skeptical on this place due to the opinions of some friends who weren't too fond of the rotating aspect of this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and satisfactory of the food. The prices were on the higher end but, the food was delicious, as well as the drinks. My girlfriend and I had a great time here. Highly recommend. read more

I'm only giving them two stars because of the concept/view. The food tasted like I was at Dennys after a night of drinking. My steak was mostly fat and had no taste to it. I understand the premium for food cost because of the experience but come onnnnnn, at least make the food good. I will never come back here for dinner but would be a cool place for drinks. read more

I stayed at the Hyatt for work and it was about 120 degrees out so I figured this place was close so I came here without a reservation around 7 on a Wednesday night and was seated immediately. The view is pretty and the rotating part is nice although it feels weird every so often, like it's shaking back and forth ever so slightly to regain its balance but you get used to it. It was a nice touch that they asked my name at the hostess stand and the waitress spoke to me by first name. She was polite but she was gone for 10+ minutes while I sat there with questions about the menu. I finally asked the hostess to get her. She came, was knowledgeable about the menu and the rest of the service was without a hitch. Food took only 13 min and it was delicious. The salmon was cooked to order, amazingly flavorful, not dry, and had a gorgeous crispy skin on it. Bravo. The risotto was cooked perfectly as well and although I didn't care much for the peach sauce or top salad, the salmon really was the star for me here. read more

Last night my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Compass Arizona Grill. The waitstaff was very courteous and attentive, as our glasses were never less than half full. We ordered the bruschetta as our appatizer. We both had lamb, hers well done and mine medium. These were cooked to perfection! My wife ordered the asparagus for a side and I ordered the heirloom popatoes and both were delicious. We were surprised with a small cheesecake a la mode for dessert. I looked up the sunset time prior to our reservation and the view did not disappoint. Our waiter,Julian, was great! Only deducting one star for the smaller portion lamb compared to other places we've had it. Other than that, it was a great anniversary dinner. Thanks to everyone at Compass Arizona Grill. read more

Cold food, slow service. Nice service and great view. But for the price, not worth the food. OK, so we are in the desert, and I ordered scallops. But RUBBER scallops are NEVER ok. EVER. And all dishes came out cold. The potato croquettes were fantastic for starters. Go for drinks and apps and for the sunset view. Then leave and walk to the many great restaurants in the area! read more

I have been coming to the compass grill since it had a brunch buffet. Every time I come back, it reminds me of the days as a kid where I would put on a nice dress and get dolled up to head out with my dad here and drink fresh orange juice. I have spent many birthdays here as well and will never get over the speedy elevator ride and ambiance that allows me to embrace downtown phx in all of it's glory. Ironically enough, those rides out to dtphx as a kid is what sparked my infatuation and drove me to move just blocks away. 5 stars for everything. I should have listened to the poor reviews on here. It is a cool concept so for the views I imagine bring the crowds.. plus maybe gets the hotel bring a steady flow? My filet mignon was ordered medium but came well done- had to send it back but still wasn't medium. The cocktail was wayy too sweet. The service was bad- server wasn't friendly, had to wait along time to get checked up on. Another waiter that wrapped up my left overs placed the box on the floor beside me saying 'I'll just leave this right here for you' - who puts food on the floor ?? They need to train better. Bottom line- if you come here for views- chose maybe an easy desert that they can't mess up plus wine . read more

First time here and the view is AMAZING!! Jacob was our server and he couldn't have been any more awesome. I definitely recommend making a reservation prior to coming, especially if you have more than 3-4 people. It was so busy we saw parties of 2 get turned away. Great intimate celebration place to come to! read more

I forgot to write a rating for this place, but it warms my heart each time I think of it. I had this huge elaborate day planned for my boyfriend (now fiancé), for our one year anniversary. Our dinner was set to be at this location, as I had heard it from a friend and it would be a new experience for the two of us. The day went perfectly and dinner was just the same. I was thankful we sat at a seat by the window, as we got to look at the plaques informing us of the direction we were facing (which was cool!). Phoenix isn't that pretty looking from above, and we even saw some birds fighting over fries - but my goal was to watch the sun dissipate while the night-life slowly come to life, which was also exactly what happened. We both ordered a sandwich and split the other half, but we liked the sandwich the other had ordered. We skipped desert. It's so cheesy to say, but overall walking out of the hotel and down the street to our car was just the most perfect ending to the night. He said it was the best anniversary he's ever had. Given the food's price, I would recommend people come here for anniversaries, events, or a 'treat yo self' experience. read more

Amazing environment and setting! Great views and impeccable service as well. I would return- however the price is a little steep for the quality of food- in my opinion. I went for a birthday, and comfortably spent 100$ a head for 6 people including drinks and gratuity. I recommend you check menu ahead of time and arrive early to your reservation. Prepare to take out your wallets, and enjoy a good evening at the Compass Grill! read more

It was our 48th wedding anniversary so we decided to enjoy a nice dinner with a great view. We looked at the menu on line and we were looking forward to our meals. Nice waiter came over with the menu and we were shocked to see that nothing that we were looking forward to having on their menu was available. My wife ordered the chicken breast for $40 and that came with nothing but this little 4 Oz chicken breast. No potatoes, no salad, no nothing as everything that a normal meal would have was extra. I ordered an 8 Oz filet for $70 and once again it came with nothing but a sauce that you could choose from. We were both very disappointed in the food and the sizes for the prices that they were charging. Beautiful views, great service but way too much money for such a small portion with absolutely nothing included. Sorry for the bad review but we just felt like we got ripped off. We stopped at another restaurant on the way home because we were both still hungry from our stingy portions at such a high price but the view was great. read more

The view and the service was amazing. I had steak, mac and cheese, salad, and fondue. The mac and cheese and fondue were great but my steak was under cooked. The price was a bit high as well. 4 people no alcohol $220 price tag. read more

We enjoyed our time at the compass room - food was delicious - crab cakes were good yet overpriced - you only get 1 crab cake for 17$ - the views were wonderful - there was a storm coming in and it was pretty neat to see - service was great read more

I went on Sunday around 9 with 3 others I got a salad with crab meat on the side me and my brother were eating the crab and sharing his seafood. Bill was 461$ and I went home and stomach started hurting so I went to bed woke up sweating and throwing up my bother was doing the same. Him and I got food poisoning we were the only 2 to eat the seafood and that's the only meal we have had together so we know it was from here. great view and server but bad food will never eat here again. I'm still throwing up and sweating and its just gross. Most expensive food poisoning 461$ to get sick af. So thanks compass for the crappy food. read more

I was skeptical at first about an elegant/nice steak house being in the same conversation as hotel food, but dang! I am not a steak expert, but I am a steak lover and I had the best steak of my life here (the filet mignon). If you are visiting Phoenix, this is a MUST! The high-rise revolving restaurant gives you a 360 view of the city and beyond (pictures attached, but they don't do it justice at all). The corn bread and honey butter is mouth watering. All around fantastic experience! read more

We came here for brunch. The food is typical breakfast food. The view is nice. However, the service was horrendous. There were only three other occupied tables in the restaurant. However, the server, who was an older lady, seemed disheveled and resentful to be there. Even though there were only three other occupied tables, she was very slow and disappeared for long periods of time. She was so rude, we avoided asking her for anything since she was so grumpy. For a place with such a nice ambience, it's unfortunate that poor service makes overpriced mediocre food not worth it. read more

Went with my husband for our 16th wedding anniversary. We made mention that it was a special anniversary dinner when we made the reservation and were greeted at the host station and by our server with "Happy Anniversary" comments. When we were seated our server stated that dessert was complimentary in celebration of our special occasion. The cheese and charcuterie board was good but the Caesar salad was a bit sub par, croutons were rock hard and there was too much lemon in the dressing. If you have not been to the Compass Arizona Grill then this monsoon season would be the perfect time to experience this great place! I have childhood memories of leaning on the big glass windows admiring the whole valley from the circulating dining room. Thats right, the whole restaurant rotates giving diners a 360 view of the entire valley! After a fast shoot up the epic elevator you arrive to the wonderful Compass Grill. Its not a super fancy restaurant but you would never look over dressed. The food quality has changed over the years and I would say right now things are on the up and up! I ordered the braised venison shank. Ive never seen that on any menu! It was amazing. Braised to perfection, the juicy meat fell right off the bone. I went with the family for my birthday including nieces and nephew under 2 yrs old. It was great, they loved the views, being able to walk around in our "couch/table area" also there was a ladies group having a fun time at the restaurant so the kids could make all the noise they wanted and still were not heard! Everyone in my group had a great meal, was impressed with the food and attentive service. This place continues to be a staple for a wonderful dinner experience in Arizona. It wasn't bad, but to me, didn't make sense. The food was really good though; I didn't care too much about the soup, but the green sauce was SO good. Mixing a little with the soup was incredible. I thought the beef and pork were really good. I personally left the restaurant full, but many others in my party did not. I think it's a really good amount of food for 2 people, but when you push to 3+, you probably do not want to come hungry. Also--the live music at Pemberton next door is SO LOUD, you're going to be shouting at your table the entire night when you sit outside. I think I would come back if I wanted to show this place to someone who didn't live here, but it isn't on the top of my list for when I'm trying to eat out, but I will definitely consider this for special date night occasions. Off rip... they both offered drink recs that hit like album deep cuts... crisp... thoughtful... and strong. The food? Yeah... not just pretty... flavorful as hell. The Chicken Confit was different... tender, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth with the skin crisped like it had a stylist. Might be top 5 bites I've had in AZ. Brussels were actually seasoned with purpose... Charcuterie was grown-folk energy, not that Trader Joe's starter pack. Caesar was dressed right... no dry corners... no soggy mess... just flavor and crunch in balance. Even the cauliflower... low-key gas. But then... the energy got hijacked. We were vibing... not yelling... just genuinely enjoying the night. Then the manager came over with the weakest "tone it down" moment I've ever seen. Said we were too loud for the neighbors... in a damn half-empty rotating bar. Where do I begin...made a reservation, was 10 minutes early yet seated about 20 minutes after the reservation time. Once we were finally seated (2 of us) we were taken to a table that seats about 8 comfortably...for only 2 people, asked the polite waiter if we could get a smaller table that seats just two he asked (what looked like a manager) she came over with an attitude and kept interrupting me and kept making excuses as to why she couldn't seat us at a smaller table. She told me I should've wrote in the notes that I wanted a small table while making my reservation but kept cutting me off every time I tried to tell her I called and made a reservation so I couldn't write anything in the "notes" lol. Also...when they take the reservation over the phone they ask how many people...so wouldn't it be common sense to seat 2 people at a 2 person table rather than 8? Maybe I'm weird idk. Eventually our waiter moved us over to a smaller table. Dinner was ok, nothing extravagant. Before leaving a different waiter asked if we wanted dessert, I insisted my wife picked the dessert being that we were celebrating her birthday the waiter overheard that and told us it would be complimentary yet we were still charged for it. Not the end of the world...very unpleasant first time at such a "classy" restaurant. We weren't underdressed but yet still treated like less than everyone else, maybe because I was the only one in there with a hat on? Not sure. It's just funny to me how they're so strict about a "no show fee" for reservations yet can't even get us to the correct table or seated on time. ***Do not go to this restaurant***. I got food poisoned from eating on this restaurant and nearly go to the ER. I was sick for 1 week and missed work for a few days. We dine first in July 2014 for my birthday dinner with friends. They did not serve the food until after 2 hours. My boyfriend complained to the manager of the restaurant and Hyatt and they sent us 2 complimentary dinner. On October 4, 2014, Saturday we made reservation and used the complimentary dinner. I had scallops, lobster soup and ice cream. The lobster soup what made me sick because that is the only meal my boyfriend did not tried. After 3 hours I went to bed and my stomach start growling, I just ignore it until 2AM I start going to the restroom from that time until Monday night I keep throwing up and having runs. Monday morning I cannot get up from bed anymore. I had called the nurse line of my insurance company and told them what happened, they told me to try to drink pedialite and keep eating soft foods. The bad thing pedialite has a very high sodium and after drinking 1 bottle it gives me high blood pressure. After what happened to me I will never eat to this restaurant again. read more

I am guilty of not doing my homework but just thinking of the view of sunset and so reserving to pay $750 fo 6 people+ gratuity and some of the food to be gross and yaky. What kind of chef have they hired to make some terrible roasted red potatoes...I could have made them delicious. What restaurant where you pay top $ would serve you french fries from fròzen! I mean no one has pride in this place??? And to sell $75 for only one 8oz steak??? Nothing else on the plate?? I recently visited Compass Arizona Grill in Phoenix with my boyfriend, and overall, it was a great experience. The atmosphere was incredible--it's such a unique place with the rotating view of the city! The service was attentive and friendly, which made the night even more enjoyable. The food was good, but I do wish there were more options on the menu. I ordered the scallops with risotto, and while it was well-cooked, it just wasn't my favorite. On the other hand, my boyfriend's dish was absolutely delicious, and I ended up having a little food envy! If you're looking for a unique dining experience with great service and some standout dishes, Compass is worth a visit. I recently dined at The Compass in Downtown Phoenix for Valentine's Day. While the ambience was pleasant and the staff friendly, my experience had its ups and downs. The elevator glitch, requiring an employee to badge us up, was an unprofessional start for restaurant guests. The Valentine's prices were higher, as expected, for a 4-course menu. The food was good, but the quality didn't quite justify the steep cost--worth about a third of what we paid. A substantial service fee, on top of the reservation fee, left me questioning its necessity. However, the cocktails were superb, and the valet service was friendly and attentive. Considering the price-to-quality ratio, I'm inclined to explore other dining options despite the nice view. read more

Ordered the seafood pasta(a $50 dish). I asked if instead of doing the lobster cream sauce, can they do something without a cream sauce. Server recommended a lemon based sauce. Order took a half hour and was loaded with a creamy sauce. I asked to confirm if it was a lemon based sauce and she went to ask the chef. She came back and said it was a lemon based sauce and gave me a half lemon to put on the pasta. Took about three bites and left it. Of course, they never offered a discount or comp. Service sucks and the prices is to high and the food was average. I had better at Texas Longhorn or Perry's steakhouse. I asked our waiter for some paper napkins to discard something on floor. He brings one paper napkin and ripped it in half and gave it to me and my husband. I asked why did he do that and his response was "I didn't know what you wanted it for" with an attitude. Regardless what I needed for I never and I mean never experience that before. read more

Celebrated my friend's birthday tonight at Compass! Everyone greeted us with big smiles and Happy Birthday wishes, a great start to an amazing dinner. YUM in every respect. Loved our server, Anthony, who took great care of us... seamless, effortless service. Understated elegance! Incredible views of Phoenix. Downtown Phoenix just keeps getting better every year. Was fun to stroll around the downtown area after our dinner. read more

If you're looking for a place to have a special dinner / date / birthday, this is the place to go in phoenix. Advise: Go in an uber, parking is a betch and uber is so mush easier. It's pricey, so be prepared to spend a bit more to rotate and see the city vies in an hour. The staff are nice and friendly and the food was very good, just wish there were a bit more of it. Will always come here for dinners. read more

My fiancee and I go to the Sunday Brunch every couple of months and we love it! It is such a beautiful experience to sip mimosas, indulge in our favorite Eggs Benedict and desserts, and take in all that the Compass Room has to visually offer. I would highly recommend it, especially to out of town visitors. You will not find a more visually stunning dining experience anywhere in the Valley! read more

Went to the Compass for anniversary dinner? The table was ready right when we walked off the elevator. The service was great, and the food and view was outstanding. The only thing stopping me from giving it the extra star is they make you pay for valet, even though they knew we were going up to the restaurant. Also be prepared to spend some money its about $150.00/ couple. read more

The view is great and my husband and I really enjoy to have dinner here, however, this last time we went, the server was very rude and ignored us like for a long time, we had to talk to the manager and the service change immediately, I would recommend the restaurant for the panoramic views, the food is ok and the service is ok as well, unacceptable for the price though. read more

We went to the Compass Arizona Grill back in December. I have lived in the valley for a long time and had never been. I loved this place! We were running late for the symphony and alerted the staff. They made sure we had our food timely and it was fantastic. The cocktails were amazing as well. Wish we had more time to enjoy the views of this unique dining experience. read more

Scenery was great. Food was sub par. The food I would compare to Outback steak house rather than a nice restaurant. Bread was extremely dry. Ordered Calamari- Received very little for the price. Steak- no seasoning or flavor, however was cooked very good. And it took a very long time for our waitress to come around the entire night. read more

The best part of this restaurant is the view but the food is not too shabby. I went to Compass Arizona Grill on a double date for a nice dinner. We were all impressed with the view and loved the lobster chowder and mac and cheese. The steaks were good but not great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a nice date! read more

Excellent service with a beautiful view. Fondue appetizer was 5 star to begin meal. Steak and lamb dishes were both excellent and cooked to perfection. Desserts both excellent as well. Only thing was temp in restaurant was a tad chilly but overall 5 star all the way. U must go and enjoy the views and food. read more
