Soup of the day
Thembi S.

I stopped by The Chasseur one Wednesday for Euchre. I arrived hours before the games were to start to practice playing. That said, the staff were so friendly to me, and the bartender made some really good food suggestions right off the bat. I was freezing and really just wanted something warm to start so I had a coffee. I'd moved up to the 3rd floor by this time and it has a ton of garage doors up there, so not a warm spot on a cold night. After the coffee, I needed more warmth and had ordered the soup of the day, I believe it was chicken tortilla. When it arrived it smelled heavenly and tasted just as good! Wish I'd gotten the bowl instead of the cup! Payment was easy. Overall, great experience and I'll be back for Euchre next week. I will be dressed like I'm at a ski resort tho until it warms back up!

Spicy Chicken Sammy

Overall, the food was pretty good. Would recommend the spicy chicken sandwich (sammy). Inside, it's very sports-bar vibe and can get super loud. Service was pretty quick and the servers were friendly.

Easily of my fave brunch spots. Staff is never overly friendly but the food and vibes are always great here. It does get pretty loud as something to note but there's three floors of seating which is great and you can make reservations ahead of time which I highly recommend if you have a group going!

One of my fave bars Good food and fun menu Cosmos are amazing and cheap My only con was that the Mac had 1 piece of crab. Still a phenomenal Mac!!! Just shouldn't be called a crab Mac.

Lemon Crush

Had brunch at The Chasseur and dined in their rooftop patio which opens up like a garage. Bartenders and servers were friendly and the food was delish! I had the lemon crush and the bruleed french toast. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles and we shared an order of fries. So yummy.

Grilled Wings with honey chipotle on the side

To be honest, they have basic bar food--and not the best you've ever had--but the service was efficient and friendly, and I enjoyed the vibes inside. They also have a bottomless brunch, although I did not experience it. GLOWS: - They have 3 floors inside the restaurant, with the middle floor being an airy balcony vibe with garage door windows and bar with various sports games playing. The highest floor is a small roof top that you can sit out on and relax. -The chocolate chip cookies and ice cream dessert was really good -Delicious hand cut fries -They have grilled wings on the menu.. A big plus for me, as I have been staying away from fried wings GROWS: - The grilled wings were a little too charred on some of them for my liking. -The Brussel sprouts were mushy and lacked flavor -The drinks are not very pretty, just basic plastic cups, so don't look for aesthetics

Brunch and all occasions

My food was delicious. I got the Brulee'd French Toast and cream of crab soup. They both were delicious . One of my girlfriends got the avocado toast and assumed that it was going to be blended. However they had avocado slices on top of toast. She didn't like it. My other girlfriend got the chicken and waffles. However, the chicken piece was huge and she didn't like what they breaded it with so they both to sent their items back. One of the replacement dishes was the tacos and she preferred that over the avocado toast. Service: our waitress Maddie was awesome. She was very attentive and pleasant. Ambiance: it's was a very nice. They do have 3 floors which we were on the 3rd floor. They have it where you can open the sliding doors to have a balcony feeling. They have a pup menu and QR code!!

Amazing chicken and waffles

I was a little skeptical due to the long wait to order and the bitter coffee, but it was all well worth it for the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy with a delicious coating and the waffle was fluffy and perfect.

Buffalo flatbread

Saw on their website that Monday nights were half off burgers for dine in, but when I went to order, the waitress said that there were no food specials, which was disappointing. Instead I ordered a buffalo flatbread that was pretty good, but had a lot of sauce, I personally would have preferred a drizzle of buffalo sauce. I also got a raspberry lemonade crush for $6 which was incredibly strong and only tasted like vodka, which in my college days I would have really appreciated, but on a monday night it was a lot. I do like the vibes there, and I could see myself coming in on a friday or saturday night in the future.

Salmon BLT Sandwich
Emily L.

We always passed by here and never had a chance to stop in so we finally came for dinner on a Friday night to check out the place. Both the downstairs and upstairs have bar and table seating. The weather had turned chilly already, so the upstairs walls were closed off with windows. We had no problems getting a table right away even though some had been reserved already. We ordered drinks, and the staff was very attentive to preferences. The spicy cauliflower shareable was delicious and delivered the spice it promised so don't underestimate this dish! We each had a sandwich, a salmon BLT and a turkey BLT. The brioche bun on the salmon sandwich was soft, sweet, and perfect to complement the savory, flavorful salmon and crispy turkey. The turkey BLT was enormous! The white bread could have been a bit more toasted. There was a very generous layering of turkey along with cheddar in this BLT twist. The bacon was again nice and crispy. The fries were perfectly salted and had some crunch though most were a bit soft. If you're looking for a flavorful dinner with laidback ambiance and friendly service, don't pass on The Chasseur!

I've only ever been here on Tuesday nights for taco Tuesdays so I can't speak to the rest of the menu. What I can say is that their Tuesday night specials are definitely worth the visit. Tacos are $2 each and you can choose from beef, chorizo, chicken, and pork. I enjoyed the pork the most and perhaps others do too because both times I've been here those are the first to sell out. The chorizo tacos are a bit too salty for my tastes. They also run drink specials on Tuesday nights as well which my guests said were a great value. If you head upstairs, you're treated to a pretty nice view of Canton. I'll come back on another day and try their regular menu at some point but if you're really hungry and don't feel like spending a ton, coming in on a Tuesday night is the move. The tacos may not be world class but they more than do the job.

Chasseur's Grilled Chicken Sammy

So on our weekly date night she decided to take us to the Chasseur. It was a nice little lounge off of Eastern Avenue. It wasn't too pack but had a nice crowd so I'm figuring that how we lucked up & found a parking spot right outside of the front door. We were seated very quick & our waitress was very good wit getting our orders in. For an appetizer I elected to get the Maryland half & half crab soup. It was pretty but needed a little pepper added but nice portions of crab meat so that's a win in my book. Next I went wit the grilled chicken Sammy now listen when I say this thing was delicious the melted pepper jack cheese was the thing that pushed it over the edge. This was an amazing call by the wife have to give her all the credit & thank the staff at the Chasseur for such an excellent experience

My friend said I had to come here. We did. As soon as we stepped out of the Uber the adventure began. The building is so out dated but the entrance door held its charm. Neon lit Edgar portrait reading from a book his Annabel Lee. Complete with a bouquet of flowers. To the right more words of the writer surrounded with a few tables and chairs for those willing to chill in the cold. Inside was no different. Several crows, skulls everything you'd expect. And a well stocked bar. Many writings on the wall, articles, awards, etc all added to the vibe and theme. And of course dimly lit but you could still read the menu. We were guided to the back for our party of 5, in a corner away from everyone else. That made it easy for us to converse as we perused the menu exclaiming this and that of the dreadful names used and deathly ingredients mixed in. It definitely made it more appetizing. After working all day I was ready for a drink and settled on the To Isadore; gin, lavender syrup, lemon squeeze topped with segura cava. That hit the spot. Unfortunately, I had eaten quite a bit on this trip and forced myself to order the Chef Salad. Nothing more to say there. My wife, though, ordered the seafood lasagna. Never had that and it didn't sound like something I could get into. I was wrong. This is Baltimore. The seafood here is astounding. It was delicious and had to take a couple spoon fulls. My friend ordered the double beef patty burger. I was jealous until he offered me a bite. That was really good too, and juicy. If you're looking for an experience and are not too afraid you may want to visit Annabel's. I do recommend it and do insist coming after the sun has been well down.

The drink menu did not tickle my fancy so I ended up just having water. The restaurant week menu was a good selection of their regular menu items so it was an opportunity to try something that I could get again. I opted for the tuna as an appetizer, the whole branzino as my entree, and the zalabia for dessert. Everything was delicious! I would have liked the tuna to be more chilled; it came out closer to room temp. I have no notes for the bronzino. It was perfectly cooked, I really love the time and orange, the olive tapenade was the right amount of salty and briny, and the accompanying roasted harissa potatoes were fantastic. I guess if I had any critique it would be of the too skinny and woody asparagus. The dessert was something I'd never heard of, something like Mediterranean donuts. I really love the pistachios and the I think pomegranate sauce (it wasn't described on the menu so Im guessing), but the addition of chocolate was completely unnecessary and I'm not just saying that because I don't like chocolate lol. After dinner me and my dining companion went upstairs to the speakeasy for a cocktail. I was hoping they had a different drink menu and they did! This menu was much more interesting to me and I ended up getting a a well-balanced gin cocktail. I just read that they are closing to relocate so I'm hoping that I'll be able to go again soon.

Overall the vibe was good and the bartender was great. Would like to return and sample some food soon.

Upon arrival, a Happy Anniversary card was signed from the staff on our table - very sweet gesture!! We split a cocktail, got the Campanelle Zafferano (lobster pasta), the Filet Rossini, and the opera cake. The filet was an amazing dish - tasty beef tenderloin and we actually loved the brioche crouton. The whole dish is stacked in a neat tower - a very cool presentation. The Campanelle Zafferano was our only complaint. It was good but just ok. The pasta sauce was very thin and seemingly just plain tomato sauce, the lobster also was rubbery. There was a delicious cream sauce on top, but it was not enough to cover each bite. I'd suggest more cream sauce and/or thickening the tomato sauce. I don't typically get dessert, but for this special occasion, we had the opera cake which was delicious - they do have an in house pastry chef (I asked!). It was delicious, we loved all the chocolates and textures. That said it was $15 for a very small piece which was outrageous to me. Overall we had a great experience and loved most of the food! The menu has tons of other dishes we'd want to try, we'll be back!!

I've visited Baltimore, Maryland, several times, especially Fells Point. That said, I've strolled down the streets of Fells Point many times and have passed Twist several times, but I've never been censored from going in. I must admit, I judged a book by its cover (surroundings) and assumed I would not have a good dining experience. Oh boy, was I wrong. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff were extremely attentive and focused on creating the best dining experience for me and all customers. If you go, and I pray you due, know that it's a BYOB restaurant and just sitting in the restaurant will evoke conversation as you look around the room and find art and crafts that will leave you feeling nostalgic, that's if you can even keep your head for enjoying your meal. I recommend you try the Harbor Lingerie with shrimp and a Greek salad to start. Also, don't skip dessert because the Gelato is absolutely delicious and served with excellence.
