The food was amazing. The restaurant is really nice for a chain steakhouse. We come here a couple of times a year for one occasion or another since it's close to our home. Came to celebrate my husband's birthday here this evening instead of traveling into the city. The hostesses were friendly when we walked in. Our server, Jamielynn, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. She was attentive, yet not intrusive -which was much appreciated. The only issue lies with the GM or who we assumed to be a manager who was posted at the door. We found it odd that he checked on a table adjacent to ours, that came after us- and left before us, but never stopped to ask if everything was okay. It seemed oddly intentional. He looked away when passing our table. It was weird and felt unwelcoming. Not sure why- especially considering they knew we were celebrating a special day. In any event Jamielynn gets 5 stars for her service. She is a gem for sure. One of the hostesses was kind enough to take a photo for us when we were leaving and again this man (who I assume was a GM or manager) instead of acknowledging us or saying anything like thank you or have a good night seemed to look away. What a bad look for this restaurant. Such a shame. The bar manager did come over and wish my husband a happy birthday while we were dining and he was really great as well as all of the other staff we came in contact with. The one caveat was that man at the door - he needs to think about how he treats guests. Still had a great night in spite of his odd behavior. However it should be addressed so that others don't experience it on a special day.

Spot on every time! I've been here several times for pharmaceutical rep dinners and have never been disappointed. Parking is easy (free near Macy's or valet available). The ambiance is dim, quiet, and upscale--open kitchen, "classic steakhouse" feel, and guests often dressed for a nice night out. We recently celebrated our anniversary here, and the staff truly went above and beyond. Our table was decorated with tasteful heart-shaped confetti, an anniversary card, and complimentary champagne--such a thoughtful and unexpected touch that made the evening feel extra special. The warm bread with butter was irresistible (I had two pieces despite usually skipping it!). Our server, Christopher, was professional, personable, and incredibly accommodating. The spinach salad with poached pears, Gorgonzola, and pecans was a standout--I only wish the portion was bigger. The Brussels sprouts with bacon were delicious but quite indulgent. The calamari with hot peppers is a must if you enjoy a spicy kick. For entrées, I had the scallops with lobster and risotto, and my husband ordered the filet--both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We were full halfway through but couldn't stop eating. Dessert was the only slight miss--the apple tart looked great but wasn't as flavorful as expected. However, the complimentary dessert tasting (flourless chocolate cake and crème brûlée cheesecake) completely made up for it--beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We're already looking forward to coming back--especially for that cheesecake with the berry compote!

I attended a birthday celebration dinner at this location and it was excellent. This service was great, as was the ambiance and food. NASIR was our waiter and he introduced himself and was thoughtful the entire evening. Although it was a bustling Saturday night, he was attentive to our needs. Dave noticed we were celebrating a birthday and acknowledged us, made sure the others knew we were celebrating and continued to check on us, it made us feel special. The night was a delicious success. Go see Nasir and say hello to Dave.

I attended a luncheon seminar here. The service was wonderful, the food was good, the bread was warm and yummy, and the butter was room temperature and lightly salted on top. The house salad was very fresh. I opted for chicken and it was super tender, served with mustard potatoes and asparagus. It truly hit the spot. The whole restaurant is elegantly decorated. It reminds me of an old English mansion with the classy colors and paintings. It was a great lunch spot.

We just wanted a sit at the bar where the hostess directed us to the bar. We waited patiently for a couple who we stroke up at a conversation with to take over their seats, as we sat down, the bartender told us he had his own list for the seats at the bar. As someone who has been going to this location for years, I never heard of this. It would have been fine, because actually four seats had opened up, but he had placed a couple that was on the list in between the four seats, leaving one seat available on each side of the couple. If there is a list at the bar, the hostess should have told us to check in with the bar. We just left because honestly the bartender was super rude. Super disappointed. I guess they preferred that we went somewhere else.

The wine/champagne pairing

Went here for the wine and waygu pairing. Made reservations and was seated in 5 min. Thought this was only reserved for the bar but they sat me at a boothe which was nice. My daughter upgraded her fries to the caviar and onion dip which was really good-coming from a non seafood eater. The burgers were good. The wine pairings werent for me as I like a sweeter tasting wine. The star of the show was the thick cut bacon appetizer. Omg it was soooo good with the glaze they cook and serve it in. Overall good customer service.

Came for a late lunch / early dinner after shopping in the mall. The host quickly seated us and held onto our bags so the table was not crowded. We opted to skip the apps this time around and just picked on the complimentary bread and butter. Chris F. was on point and attentive. For entrees we ordered the: Sliced Filet with mushrooms, onion, with a fig essence. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Dry aged NY Strip with Courvoisier Cream. Very nice steak and the cream complimented it well, I usually skip the cream/ sauce. I did have to add some salt to my steak. I felt it was a tad under seasoned. For the shared sides: Au Gratin Potatoes. Very tasty Sautéed Spinach. Very good, little too much oil IMO. After dinner, the table was crumbed, which I love. Too bad we skipped dessert. I've been here plenty of times and it's always good. Solid atmosphere and great service are always expected. Personal side note: I feel that if you list your calories on the menu, they need to be close to correct. It needs to be adjusted for accuracy. The NY Strip Steak without Courvoisier Cream can't be 20 calories less than the one with. I asked if they were the same steak and I was told it was.

Tenderloin with Lobster Tails. Wish the tails were bigger but they were very tasty!

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and we had a great experience! The table was decorated and there was also a handwritten card on the table (nice touch) The steaks and appetizers were delicious and worth the price yet I just can't rationalize the price for the sides. $15 for creamed spinach which was good but I honestly couldn't separate it from spinach from the frozen aisle. The steaks were cooked perfectly (Rib-eye and Filget with lobster tails) The crab cake was delectable (wish it came with 2) I almost wanted to pick a fight for the bigger half They have a wide selections of wine, very limited beer selection and a decent cocktail menu with some spins to it. Our server Stephanie was phenomenal! She was attentive, knowledgeable, professional and yet somehow genuinely friendly! I haven't been here in over a decade and for an upscale Steakhouse dangling off of The GSP, Im glad to see the quality hasn't diminished! I only have one quip though. They used to bring out a small dessert for birthdays and I got a bowl of whipped cream with a candle But Im not a dessert person so I'll just have to get over it. So 1 star is missing due to that and the side prices.

The food was really good, we loved the lambs chops cooked to perfection, the crab cake was amazing ! Service was a 10/10. The vibe in there was so beautiful, we enjoyed our time and food here

THE GOOD ---------------- + Food was very good. Not super spectacular, but as good as you would expect of this caliber of restaurant chain where the prices are nosebleed. ++++ Shrimp Cocktail was a bit pricey at $25 for 5 pieces, but you get what you pay for as they were jumbo and very fresh. ++++ Dry Aged NY Strip Steak Frites with Aji Verde was excellent. Cooked perfectly and cut into consumable pieces. Although it didn't seem huge, it was a very fair portion .. and it was just $32 for lunch! ++++ Filet Mignon with Creamed Spinach was very good. It's pretty much what you would expect for a Filet Mignon - tender, juicy and very, very flavorful. ++++ The Capital Grille Cheesecake was cooked brulee style with fresh berries on the side and it was the PERFECT dessert to cap off our meal - soft, savory and delicious. + Service was top notch (as expected). Everyone wished my wife and I a Happy Anniversary and every individual who serviced our table was A+ professional. ++++ There was a mishap with my order and I informed the waitress. A manager came out immediately, addressed it and "took care of us" and, let's just say, we were very, very satisfied with the resolution. Like I said, TOP NOTCH service. + Ambiance was fantastic inside. Perfect for any occasion, whether it is a special occasion or just casual meal, we noticed many people there for different reasons. + Interior is spacious and there are plenty of tables, but it's extremely well-spaced and roomy. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Nothing! Great all around meal and service! RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Was shockingly crowded on a random Monday afternoon. When we arrived at 11:45 AM, there were just a handful of customers, but by 12:30 it was prettttty busy. The crowd had a mix of random diners and business diners.

- Attentive, confident waitstaff clearly well-trained in fine dining hospitality; greeted with warm smiles from the moment we arrived and throughout our meal - Came for an anniversary lunch--every staff member who passed by took the time to wish us a happy anniversary - Pristine dining room with ample seating and multiple private event spaces - Classic, rustic steakhouse ambiance with romantic undertones - Food was very good overall: shrimp cocktail--fresh, meaty, and nicely chilled; dry-aged NY strip steak frites with aji verde, duck fat fries, and herb aioli--steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to a true medium as requested, fries were decent though not particularly memorable; lobster bisque--generous chunks of lobster though the broth could have used more depth and richness; filet mignon with porcini rub--initially overcooked but promptly replaced, the corrected version was tender, flavorful, and beautifully executed - Received a complimentary anniversary dessert duo: brûlée-style cheesecake (creamy and smooth) and flourless chocolate espresso cake (rich, dense, and indulgent); we had actually ordered the cheesecake, which we ended up taking home to enjoy later :) - Despite the brief steak hiccup, the exceptional hospitality made the experience truly special; staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt celebrated and well cared for on our special day!

2nd time here and got the Filet Mignon 10 oz $68 with side of creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, both of which are $15 each. The first time I was the I got the chef recommend filet mignon and this seemed like a smaller size. Not sure why that is? Overall this was an enjoyable meal.

We went to Capital Grille for the "Wagyu and Wine" special. It was such a great value for a glass of wine and an amazing wagyu burger with fries. You can make a reservation or sit at the bar if there's seats available. The service is always impeccable.

Some cocktails have special pricing and they also offer bar bites at decent prices. The food was awesome this last visit. With our cocktails, we scarfed down the steak sliders, chicken sliders, Korean chicken bites, meatballs, chips and dip, plus some shrimp. All of the food was outstanding. The steak sliders were juicy and had pink in the middle, which is tricky to achieve with sliders. The Korean chicken bites are sooo good and loved by everyone. Really, nothing was bad. Cocktails were all great too, including my $9 Olive A Martini's. Someone had an espresso martini and couldn't stop talking about it... even the next day. Our server was also the bartender and did a great job tending to us, even while we were all seated at the outdoor tables. We'll definitely be back again!

We started coming to Fleming's early into the summer and our first thought was, "Why did it take so…read morelong to come here?!" We don't typically go to chain restaurants, so weren't sure what to expect, but are SO glad we didn't let snobby preconceived notions get in the way of what's become a regular Saturday spot. First, the space is gorgeous - so many windows so it's incredibly bright with a separate bar and dining area. We are bar people, so gravitate towards the huge bar - and a plus of Fleming's is that all of the area around the bar (tables/high tops) plus the huge outdoor space gets bar service and access to the bar menu/happy hour. Okay - the happy hour!!! It's EVERY day from 3-6:30 PM with some of the best deals I've ever seen. They have select $9 specialty cocktails (a tequila based one, take on an old fashioned, variation of a G&T, and a dirty martini), $9 glasses of wine, and deals on small bites. The menu is also constantly rotating by the season with some mainstays and things that have changed out. Regardless, it is an absolute deal. A great happy hour and small plates is obviously a huge draw, but what keeps us coming back to Fleming's is the people. From the moment you arrive, there's someone to open the door for you and greet you at the front without fail. The bartenders are incredible - friendly, attentive, great at making drinks for what becomes a PACKED bar, conversational. We genuinely love sitting at the bar and chatting with the team (sometimes for too long, sorry guys!). All in all, Fleming's will continue to be a regular spot, not just for the value of the social hour (and just all around great food and drinks when you step outside of that more limited menu), but mainly for the incredible staff and the feeling of appreciation you get as a guest at Fleming's.
