I attended a luncheon seminar here. The service was wonderful, the food was good, the bread was warm and yummy, and the butter was room temperature and lightly salted on top. The house salad was very fresh. I opted for chicken and it was super tender, served with mustard potatoes and asparagus. It truly hit the spot. The whole restaurant is elegantly decorated. It reminds me of an old English mansion with the classy colors and paintings. It was a great lunch spot.

We just wanted a sit at the bar where the hostess directed us to the bar. We waited patiently for a couple who we stroke up at a conversation with to take over their seats, as we sat down, the bartender told us he had his own list for the seats at the bar. As someone who has been going to this location for years, I never heard of this. It would have been fine, because actually four seats had opened up, but he had placed a couple that was on the list in between the four seats, leaving one seat available on each side of the couple. If there is a list at the bar, the hostess should have told us to check in with the bar. We just left because honestly the bartender was super rude. Super disappointed. I guess they preferred that we went somewhere else.

Came for a late lunch / early dinner after shopping in the mall. The host quickly seated us and held onto our bags so the table was not crowded. We opted to skip the apps this time around and just picked on the complimentary bread and butter. Chris F. was on point and attentive. For entrees we ordered the: Sliced Filet with mushrooms, onion, with a fig essence. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Dry aged NY Strip with Courvoisier Cream. Very nice steak and the cream complimented it well, I usually skip the cream/ sauce. I did have to add some salt to my steak. I felt it was a tad under seasoned. For the shared sides: Au Gratin Potatoes. Very tasty Sautéed Spinach. Very good, little too much oil IMO. After dinner, the table was crumbed, which I love. Too bad we skipped dessert. I've been here plenty of times and it's always good. Solid atmosphere and great service are always expected. Personal side note: I feel that if you list your calories on the menu, they need to be close to correct. It needs to be adjusted for accuracy. The NY Strip Steak without Courvoisier Cream can't be 20 calories less than the one with. I asked if they were the same steak and I was told it was.

2nd time here and got the Filet Mignon 10 oz $68 with side of creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, both of which are $15 each. The first time I was the I got the chef recommend filet mignon and this seemed like a smaller size. Not sure why that is? Overall this was an enjoyable meal.

THE GOOD ---------------- + Food was very good. Not super spectacular, but as good as you would expect of this caliber of restaurant chain where the prices are nosebleed. ++++ Shrimp Cocktail was a bit pricey at $25 for 5 pieces, but you get what you pay for as they were jumbo and very fresh. ++++ Dry Aged NY Strip Steak Frites with Aji Verde was excellent. Cooked perfectly and cut into consumable pieces. Although it didn't seem huge, it was a very fair portion .. and it was just $32 for lunch! ++++ Filet Mignon with Creamed Spinach was very good. It's pretty much what you would expect for a Filet Mignon - tender, juicy and very, very flavorful. ++++ The Capital Grille Cheesecake was cooked brulee style with fresh berries on the side and it was the PERFECT dessert to cap off our meal - soft, savory and delicious. + Service was top notch (as expected). Everyone wished my wife and I a Happy Anniversary and every individual who serviced our table was A+ professional. ++++ There was a mishap with my order and I informed the waitress. A manager came out immediately, addressed it and "took care of us" and, let's just say, we were very, very satisfied with the resolution. Like I said, TOP NOTCH service. + Ambiance was fantastic inside. Perfect for any occasion, whether it is a special occasion or just casual meal, we noticed many people there for different reasons. + Interior is spacious and there are plenty of tables, but it's extremely well-spaced and roomy. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Nothing! Great all around meal and service! RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Was shockingly crowded on a random Monday afternoon. When we arrived at 11:45 AM, there were just a handful of customers, but by 12:30 it was prettttty busy. The crowd had a mix of random diners and business diners.

    - Attentive, confident waitstaff clearly well-trained in fine dining hospitality; greeted with warm smiles from the moment we arrived and throughout our meal - Came for an anniversary lunch--every staff member who passed by took the time to wish us a happy anniversary - Pristine dining room with ample seating and multiple private event spaces - Classic, rustic steakhouse ambiance with romantic undertones - Food was very good overall: shrimp cocktail--fresh, meaty, and nicely chilled; dry-aged NY strip steak frites with aji verde, duck fat fries, and herb aioli--steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to a true medium as requested, fries were decent though not particularly memorable; lobster bisque--generous chunks of lobster though the broth could have used more depth and richness; filet mignon with porcini rub--initially overcooked but promptly replaced, the corrected version was tender, flavorful, and beautifully executed - Received a complimentary anniversary dessert duo: brûlée-style cheesecake (creamy and smooth) and flourless chocolate espresso cake (rich, dense, and indulgent); we had actually ordered the cheesecake, which we ended up taking home to enjoy later :) - Despite the brief steak hiccup, the exceptional hospitality made the experience truly special; staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt celebrated and well cared for on our special day!

We went to Capital Grille for the "Wagyu and Wine" special. It was such a great value for a glass of wine and an amazing wagyu burger with fries. You can make a reservation or sit at the bar if there's seats available. The service is always impeccable.

Had a quick lunch but i definitely have to come back for dinner. What a classy well run place. Went for the lunch special. Soup or salad with entry. Great wait staff. Valet service. Started with clam New England clam chowder . Large amount of clams was creamy not over salted. Had sliced tenderloin with frites . Omg steak was so tender and cooked perfectly. Rosemary fries insane. Wife had the salmon with couscous it was perfect. Lunch much more reasonable if you want to try it out.

Recently got baptized so the family and I came to Capital Grille to celebrate! Everyone got a filet mignon , two of us got bone in. Food was really delicious, steak was cooked to perfection. I do think it could've had a little more flavor, had to add salt and pepper to enhance the flavor. For sides we had the mashed potatoes with the sautéed spinach! Service was impeccable, checked on us at every moment to make sure our food was to standard and we didn't need anything else. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars was because it took a little over 10/15 minutes to find our serve to pay for the check plus I wish my steak had more seasoned flavor! The ambience inside the restaurant was very welcoming and calm, with great music.

We've been frequenting The Capital Grille for lunch for quite some time, and what keeps us coming back--beyond the consistently excellent food--is the outstanding service from our favorite waiter, Adrian. Every visit feels like a warm welcome, and the attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine hospitality never go unnoticed. He always remembers our preferences, offers thoughtful recommendations, and creates a relaxed yet refined dining experience. It's rare to find someone who makes every lunch feel special, and he's truly one of the best in the business. The Capital Grille is lucky to have him. Highly recommend both the restaurant and Adrian!

    Cheeseburger

My friend told me that this place has the best cheeseburger he's ever had. He and I went there today, and it was fabulous! Without a doubt, the best cheeseburger I've ever had. The flavor is just danced on my taste buds. Ron, don't walk, to get your own cheeseburger at this place.

Amazing food and service! The chicken & mushroom risotto was amazing! I especially liked the risottto! The French onion cup was so tasty too! Also the complimentary bread was amazing! The service was incredible and the staff made me and my girlfriend feel so special for our anniversary! They decorated our table for us and gave us a nice dessert on the house! Highly recommend this place to others!

Food was fantastic as usual. This time I came in and wanted to try the tomahawk veal chop. I asked if it came with anything and the server said no so I got a salad on the side I knew it was too big but got the dressing on the side so I can take the rest home. When the chop arrived it was on a bed of roasted mushrooms which ticked me off because I would not have gotten the salad. Aside from that the chop was cooked well and the salad was delicious.

I would give it 5 stars. Our waitress Swe, was delightful, kind, happy, described the dishes, gave suggestions, she is what you would expect from a waitress. Even the food runners were excellent, smiled and said hello when they approached the table. The service was definitely 5 star. The Food, presentation was excellent. The flavors, just weren't there. We started with these beautiful onion rings which were house made. Big, beautiful and fried to a crisp golden perfection, yet taste, there was none. absolutely nothing. the most boring onion ring ever. Then the wedge salad, chopped and soggy. If your going to reinvent a classic salad, it better be good. I had the seared yellow fin tuna, again what happen to the flavor. it had a carrot ginger puree, that was more for color than flavor. the best part was the arugula pickled onions and tomatoes that came on the plate. My dinner partner had 16 oz prime dry age rib eye, which he did not enjoy. I am not a meat eater but tastes it and was not impressed. this steak was so thin. they took 16oz and spread it across the entire plate, taking away the true essences of a steak. I was pretty disappointed in the food but the cocktails were very good as well as their wine-selection. I beautiful place with great staff, which i would go back maybe just for happy hour. One other disappointment is with being such an nice steakhouse and all of the staff dressed and all so professional why isn't there any type os dressed code. Why are they allowing people to dine in sweatpants and messy t shirts. They should have a requirement. most diners were dressed so nice but allowing sweat pants. my two star rating is based solely on the flavor of the food.

She was very attentive and made our meal pleasant and comfortable. I started with a Blood Orange Margarita (Calirosa 'Rosa Blanca' Tequila, orange liqueur, fresh sour, blood orange). The appetizer was the Slow-Roasted Meatballs (porcini-dusted veal, pork, grass-fed beef, tomato-basil sauce, brick-oven bread). Each meatball was tender, flavorful, well seasoned, and the sauce was sufficient to accompany every forkful of the delicious starter. The entrees were: Caramelized Sea Scallops (broccolini, mascarpone risotto). Next was the Seasonal Brick-Oven Gnocchi (roasted mushrooms, truffle oil, roasted tomatoes, Marsala and provolone sauce, green onions). The final entree was the Mediterranean Wood-Grilled Chicken Salad (arugula, toybox tomatoes, kalamata olives, red onions, chickpeas, quinoa, feta, lemon dijon vinaigrette). For dessert, Seasons 52 graciously offered a free dessert for my birthday. Another nice touch that places Seasons 52 on a pedestal.
