Dry Aged Bone-In NY strip with shallot butter and Kona rub
    Tammy C.

This was my first time experience at The Capital Grille. Located in the city of Boca Raton and it is an American restaurant chain. It's an upscale steakhouse owned by the Darden brand. It was definitely an elegant and elite restaurant experience. I had the Chef recommendation which was the Kona Crusted Dry Aged Bone-In NY Strip with Shallot butter. It had a signature Hawaiian Kona coffee rub on the outside and the cuts are carved on premises. The flavor was so unique and delicious plus grilled to perfection. The interior decor was elegant with dim lighting that created a relaxing atmosphere. The service was superb. Everything was brought out hot and fresh. It did take awhile for the food to come out which gave me a chance to enjoy every sip of the wine even more. If course the prices are up there. À la carte items are served for the table which are a larger portion. Hopefully I will back soon to enjoy another nice meal.

I thought I already left a note for this, but this place was amazing! I was so excited that we were able to try out their front room as we are typically in the dining room. Instead, when we arrived, the two of us were whisked away in front of the bar towards the front of the restaurant. It was so quiet back there, such a contrast to the bustling restaurant. Waiter we had was terrific, very friendly and informative without being pushy, and very attentive. We were delighted to eat the special of the day along with a bottle of wine and cheesecake to go. Everything here was done very professionally, making us feel special,, although for what we were paying, we'd better feel special! All in all a great place

4.5 Stars... Better than Good (4), wouldn't say Great (5). I've been to many of their locations around the country... as a chain I think they are one of the best. Boca is very good. Stopped in for their Waygu and Wine promotion. Their burgers have always been good, I also like their Capital Burger spinoff in Boston. I had the Wagyu Blue Cheese and Black Truffle Burger with Cabernet Onions, served with French Fries. The wine I selected was a Cabernet from Orin Swift called Palermo. The burger was very good, fries just ok... here, Sam's Mashed is my favorite potato dish. Started with a perfectly made and excellent Margarita. While the Burgers are very good.. and a good promo, I prefer their main menu with Crab, Steaks, Lamb Chops, Sides, etc. Planned a real dinner here, so stay tuned. Service in the bar is very good, professional, friendly, proper.

Great time and good company! I'd always heard about the steaks at The Capital Grille and finally tried them and they did not disappoint. Stopped in for lunch with a couple of drinks (homemade grapefruit soda and lemonade were both excellent). The bread came out warm and fresh. We ordered the filet mignon and the dry-aged NY strip , both cooked perfectly medium, good and balanced seasoning .The sides were creamy mashed potatoes and truffle fries. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and delicious. Service was excellent, attentive and right on time. Finished with an espresso and a cheesecake with fresh fruit, which was a perfect ending. The vibe is elegant yet comfortable, with classic décor, paintings, and a warm atmosphere. Definitely a place worth coming back to! Pricing is definitely on the higher side (around $130 for two), but you get what you pay for here , great steaks, excellent service, and a classy atmosphere.

The food was superb as we have found in other Capital Grilles; actually it couldn't be better. On the other hand, the service was very disappointing. On the positive side...for a starter, I had the calamari. It was prepared in a unique way with sweet peppers & the proper amount of crisp. Perfect . The wedge salad was spot-on. The bacon topping was very unique: meaty without fat and just the proper amount of dressing. The filet was cooked to perfection and tender. The best. For dessert, the lemon coconut (can't recall the name) was delightful! Now the service.... We pointed out to each other at the onset that the service was superb, but found that the server's great personality was what seemed to fool us. He turned out to be a bumpkin. When you pay a premium for food, one expects premium service. The server made a few unfortunate errors. - first, he was replacing an empty glass of iced tea and spilled the FULL glass onto my wife's blouse and dress shorts...a complete full glass! Ok, things happen, but it took what seemed too long for him to return with cloth napkins to soak it up. There was just too much mess, so a few minutes later we asked for another table. We were accommodated. Unbelievably, no manager came by to apologize. - we asked for more bread before the salads came out. The server related he would bring some. Bus-sers brought the salads, but no bread. We thought that the waiter would be bringing it, but it never came. We ate our salads without bread & reminded the waiter of this. What would we have done if my wife's clothes were ruined? There was no report as no manager came. Fortunately, the cleaner was able to get the stains out. She was soaked though. The food again was delicious. Service, not so much.

I've heard great things about this place. They did not disappoint. The service was excellent the food was delicious. The area was very calm relaxing and comfortable. They are pricey BUT every item is well worth it. The steak was perfectly made and seasoned. The truffle fries were so good. The crab/lobster cake was amazing. Everything was great.

This was Saturday night at 6 pm. We had a reservation. We had our car valet for $10 because the Town Center parking lot was packed. This was well worth it at this time. The lobby was packed with patrons but we got seated immediately in a small booth in the bar area. They have two overhead TVs and the football games were being viewed. It was a fun and lively crowd. What could be better than watching football with like-minded people while eating and drinking fabulous food? I believe Tammi was our waitress. She was extremely attentive and professional. We started with drinks and a crab and lobster cake appetizer to share. It was lovely! Then we shared a porterhouse steak - perfect temperature with mushrooms and loaded baked potato. We did indulge in a coconut custard pie. It has beautiful presentation but it wasn't what I expected and I didn't love it. But the coffee and latte hit the spot. Capitol Grill is still a top steakhouse and not to be overlooked.

Burnt steak, cooked medium well instead of medium rare. Flavorless, not juicy at all.

I'd give this place 3.5 stars. Service was very good. For dinner, Started with the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella...delicious! Calamari was good. Mixed green salad was fine although lacking in tomatoes and such. For my main, I had the tenderloin medallions and lobster tails. The lobster tails were small but delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was unfortunately not good. The crust was burnt and the steak was cooked medium well rather than medium rare. The sides of the steak were dry and inedible. Should've sent them back. The sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus were both very good. The dessert, I just had a bite of the cheesecake, which was also very good. Overall, it was a good meal sans the steak, that should've been the hero, along with the lobster. It unfortunately ruined the meal for me. Steaks were very expensive as well so for the price point, it should've been cooked better. Had it not been for the steak, I would've rated this place higher.

Dinner with work colleagues, 12/3/24. Overall fantastic experience, Capital Grille never disappoints. I enjoyed the sliced filet topped with crab meat and shared sides of asparagus and roasted mushrooms. All 3 entrees were amazing and the custom cocktails were delicious!

What a great early dinner we had. We sat at the bar and were served by the fabulously attentive, Elias. He makes a mean house special Stoli-Doli and an impressive Baileys Espresso Martini. We knew we were off to a great start. We ordered the Caesar salad and split it in two. It's HUGE! we the. Had our main courses. I had the filet with mushrooms and fig glaze (it comes with onions but I ordered without). It was amazing. What a lovely combination of flavors to combine with a perfectly cooked and sliced fillet. This has become a go to for me. That steak melted like butter and I highly recommend. I will be thinking of that brilliant fig glaze for days. My hubby had the veal chop with Marsala. This thing was huge and also cooked to perfection. It was perfectly seasoned and my hubby ended up picking up the chop by the bone to make sure he got it all (not typical behavior for him but it was THAT good). We also ordered a side of lobster Mac n cheese. Just get it and thank me later. We've been to quite a few Capital Grille locations and the Boca Raton location holds itself to a higher standard than any other Capital Grille I have been to when it comes to service, ambiance and food. This location has restored my faith and we will be back again and again. For dessert, the coconut cream pie. Yeah, yeah, they are famous for their cheesecake. I challenge the cheesecake myth bc I don't like coconut and had three spoonfuls of this gorgeous and delectable pie. Get ready to share bc, like most items at Capital Grille, there's plenty to go around. Don't let any other location drive you away. Go to Boca and experience the excellence.

Great service by Richard Tucci. My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. It was our first time at Capital Grille. We were treated to an impeccable experience including a complimentary dessert. The porterhouse was perfectly cooked- generous portions of sides and wine. So happy we chose this restaurant for such a pleasant evening.

Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!

Also loved the atmosphere once again, it's just a very nice, open place to enjoy a meal and have a drink. We got a bunch of appetizers to start. The house made Ricotta with cracked pepper and olive oil was very delicious. I also loved the crispy zucchini slices, which were topped with peppadew peppers and a chili vinaigrette. Outstanding stuff. The seared ahi tuna was next level. The fish was fresh and beautifully seated and the mix of cucumber, aji amarillo, pineapple, cilantro and wasabi cream was sensational. One of the best dishes they make at Sixty Vines. The absolute best of the bunch was the truffle fries! They were amazing. They are basically crispy layered potatoes, almost like stacks of filo dough, fried and topped with pecorino, chives and lemon truffle cream. They were so good we ordered a second one! Considering how wonderful everything was to this point, we were expecting nothing but great things for the next course. However they completely dropped the ball and basically ruined our meal with lackluster entrees. Our party ordered the steak fries with chimichurri sauce, the double cabrenet burger, and several filet mignons. The amount of time it took to get the food was unreasonable. Once the appetizers were finished we had to wait somewhere around 20 to 25 minutes to get our mains, and the place was not that busy. I assume that the waitress just forgot or was busy with something else. As for the food, the quality of the steaks was not good all around. Everybody who got the filet mignon commented that the texture was chalky and weird. They were also all overcooked. And oddly, they decided to slice the steak before serving it, so it was very dry. Why would you pre slice a steak, all that's going to do is let the juices seep out and make the temperature drop. I honestly don't get it. The steak that came with the steak fries, I think it was a skirt steak, was also not the best cut. It was super fatty and a little chewy. The fries were good though but the meat was terrible. Finally the burger was completely overdone despite the person ordering it medium rare. Overall, not the best ending to a meal that started with such amazing dishes. Really striking contrast. And actually it made me think that I probably will not go back to Sixty Vines anytime soon. For a $350 meal they have to be doing a lot better. Dried out, overcooked steaks and burgers isn't going to cut it.

We were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated in one of their larger booths. I was initially a bit skeptical about dining on a weekday since I'd heard mixed reviews about the food and service when the restaurant isn't busy, but fortunately, our server Brooke completely exceeded expectations. She promptly brought us samples of two different wines and offered thoughtful personal recommendations throughout the evening. She also suggested ordering the soup and salad as a combo instead of separately, which saved us a few dollars -- thank you, Brooke! My partner ordered the chef's recommendation of the crab-crusted medallions with tempura shrimp, and absolutely loved it. I had Dana's Chicken with fingerling potatoes substituted for one of the sides, and it was honestly one of the best versions of the dish I've ever had. For dessert, we tried the Reese's cookie, which was just okay in my opinion, but the complimentary mini crème brûlée made my partner's night. Brooke truly went above and beyond to make our birthday celebration feel special, and compliments to the kitchen as everything was delicious.

When a diner is finished and puts their silverware in the 5:00 position on their plate, the waitress should know to take the plate and the silverware. This waitress (red hair, unfriendly) kept on handling everyone's forks and knives and moving them onto the tablecloths thus making the tables soiled. How appetizing. Disgusting. They served the group salad but forgot two and we had to chase them down to get our salads. The staff checks on nothing. I specifically had to ask 3 times for fresh silverware. They finally walked around with a bucket of silverware that looks like it came out of the dishwasher to give new silverware. No class. As I was still full from lunch, I asked for some of my meal to go. A big favor to get a to-go container. And of course she couldn't be bothered doing it but slapped it down on the table for me to do and gave me no bag. The best part? They have a several thousand dollar dinner with this large group and the waitress doesn't bill one of my co-workers at another table for her glass of wine, who had already left. And this waitress gave her the dinner to go so she knew she was leaving and still didn't bill her for the wine. The waitress messed up. No surprise. So she had the drug representative come outside while I am about to get in my car to ask me to pay for someone else's wine!!!! A first! 25$ for a glass of chardonnay (not a large pour) that I come to find out was actually 19$, but the waitress decided to add on a $6 tip for herself! Otherwise she 'couldn't close out.' How about, you mess up then you eat it! So I am chased to my car for another person's drink at another table just because I happen to know her. Wowza! The waitress didn't even say thank you. I can't make this up. It was so tacky and distasteful. Ruined the evening. Oh called the manager on duty, she couldn't have cared less. Too many other places to eat to put up with this!

We went to Narbona today for Valentine's Day, and it was a decent experience. We sat outside…read morebecause we noticed the inside was loud and the seating felt a lot less private. We decided to go with the three-course meal. For the starter, we ordered the Beet & Citrus Carpaccio with Caviar Pearls. It was new to us, and we didn't have high expectations. It was alright and probably not something I'd order again, but it did feel light and healthy. We also got the Truffle Risotto Arancini. It was pretty mid. We felt there was too much aioli and wished they had added another ball or something else to the starter to make it feel more complete. For the entrée, we got the Filet Mignon. That was really good. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the mashed potatoes were really good too. The red wine sauce was delicious and complemented the steak nicely. We could have eaten a bigger portion, but nevertheless, it was great. Lastly, for dessert, we got the Lava Cake and the Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake. When ordering the Lava Cake, we were disappointed to see that the ice cream was already really melted by the time it got to us. It gave us the impression that it had been sitting there for a while. The Lava Cake itself was really good -- the dulce de leche really brought everything together. The cheesecake was also really good. It was the perfect amount of sweetness for a cheesecake, and the raspberry topping was great. Overall, the experience was nice, but do I see myself coming back here anytime soon? Unlikely.

Started with an Aperol Spritz - a nice light Sunday afternoon drink Piccante Pizza - alway my favorite - Hot cherry peppers, mozzarella, pepperoni, and soppressata. Crisp crust with a nice bite to it. A little spicy and oh so good. Insalata Di Pomodoro - I'm not quite sure I'd call it a salad. Its cucumber. tomato, kalamata olives, onion, with a light pesto vinaigrette. I didn't see any olives, but I think my husband got to them before me. It was a nice lunch and a very nice surprise. Happy Hour 7 days a week from 3-6 at the tables and until 7 at the bar. 1/2 price drinks and discounted food.

Nothing that would stop us from enjoying ourselves. The 50% off wine bottles was a big win -- we had a bottle of Sancerre that was excellent and made the night feel like a great value. My girlfriend ordered the chopped salad; it was fresh and good, though a little on the bland side flavor-wise. The margherita pizza is always a 10/10 -- consistent, simple, and done right. I had the chicken francese with sautéed spinach instead of pasta. It was good, but I wish the sauce had been reduced a bit more for deeper flavor and a touch more salt. Overall, nice atmosphere, good wine deals (Wine Wednesday + happy hour), and a place we'd definitely come back to. Solid spot in West Boca.

We started with a few drinks at the bar, where Yardin was the absolute sweetest. She took such great care of my parents before we even arrived, which meant so much. And the exceptional service didn't stop there -- they truly rolled out the red carpet for us. Stanley made sure I felt incredibly special for my birthday, and the team helped us select the perfect bottle of red wine to pair with dinner. The food was absolutely amazing. What makes the steaks here so special are the high broilers they use, creating that perfect crust while seasoning them simply and perfectly with salt, pepper, and butter. My boyfriend's go-to appetizer is the baked shrimp, while I opted for something lighter with the beef carpaccio. For entrées, I ordered the bone-in filet, and we also shared the veal, a 16oz NY strip, and the ribeye -- all cooked to perfection. I couldn't skip my favorite béarnaise sauce. For sides, we went all out: creamed spinach, fettuccine Alfredo, cheesy mashed potatoes, onion rings, potatoes Lyonnaise, and charred Brussels sprouts. Every single one was delicious. The grand finale was their butter cake, which is absolutely my favorite and the perfect way to end the night. What a truly wonderful birthday experience!
