We used to eat here all the time, but a year ago, we moved to another state. When we returned for a visit last week (July 2024), the whole family was excited to go back. There were 12 of us, and despite the extreme heat (possibly due to a broken air conditioner) and a non-working fan that the server failed to mention, we stayed out of excitement. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. The server was unfriendly and did not smile once. They didn't honor their special of "buy 4 lbs, get 1 lb free," served us the wrong order, and the food was cooked carelessly. We also ordered 6 cups of rice but received only 2 cups because they ran out and made us wait for another 15 minutes. We also had to wait 20 minutes for side sauce that we hoped would salvage the meal, but it was overpriced at $8 and didn't taste good at all! We are never coming back to this restaurant again.

    Combo with crawfish and mussels.

it's been a few years since I've had crawfish from here. My friend and I went on a Friday night and we were literally the only people inside haha, but granted there was a lot happening in Seattle that weekend. Service was so quick and friendly, my friend comes here often so the girl working already knew her order. I decided to order a combo with crawfish and mussels. I think they made some update to the sauce but it was definitely a lot less sweeter than I remember, A+. The mussels and crawfish they had were gigantic. The whole boom bang use to be sickenly sweet that I almost always had take home because I'd get sick of eating it. I did notice the consistency in the sauce has change, it's thicken with corn starch from what I can tell because it's very gravy like. Still delicious. Nice to know that even though so many new crawfish places are popping up, this is till a good option if everywhere else is busy.

Great food and friendly service. Always got good music playing in the background. The house whole boom bang sauce with the seafood is a must. The prices for the seafood is affordable! Order the bread to dip in the leftover sauce. You won't regret it!

Unfortunately I was expecting a lot more. There were four of us and we got the combo with shrimp, crawfish, and crabs. I would have to say the shrimp and crab were very good. The were fresh and very tasty. The frozen crawfish was very lacking. I did not care for them much. The sausages were lacking. They had a very over cooked feel and taste to it. The flavor profile of the broil was on slightly on the lighter side. The shooters and catfish were definitely on par. Overally not a bad experience.

This place is an average crawfish spot. Me and my friends come here for the sea snails nor than the seafood. Since all the spots are out of fresh crawfish, I got clams and shrimp this time in the 4 stars boom bang sauce. It was decent, but I've never been a huge fan of their sauce. They also don't take more than 2 credit cards per table I believe. The service is really hit or miss here depending on who is working. Today's service was pretty good and we got checked on once or twice. I don't think there's much good or bad to say about this crawfish place. It's really just average to me. 6/25/19 Here today and service just sucks. The other server that used to work here doesn't seem like she works here anymore. The new girl is kind of rude and very slow. If the server is incompetent, you should hire another one. They also said they have Louisiana crawfish, but gave us blue crawfish instead. I feel like we got lied to and it's not a good feeling.

Sadly I will have to warn you about the quality of seafood here. The dungeness crab ($40) we ordered had a VERY STRONG ODOR OF AMMONIA indicating the crab was not fresh . I even brought this issue to the waitress but she totally ignored it and said it was how crab should smell like and how they always cooked with "fresh" ingredients (Yeah, sure :/). I could give her the benefit of the doubt but for a seafood restaurant, they should have taken the issue of ammonia smell more seriously. Not to mention their price is on the pricey side compared to other craw fish places in Seattle. Other things we ordered are: - crawfish in garlic butter sauce: very disappointing, sauce is bland with no salt whatsoever. - Softshell crab: saggy breading and the crab hold lots of water. - cajun fries: just normal fries and a little bit of cajun seasoning on top. - 1/2 oysters: not too fresh, don't bother. I do not recommend eating here.

a whole lotta meat in these bags compared to the crab pot. would recommend any seafood boil over the crab pot lol. it's crazy expensive & always a wait time! i think the scenery & being on the water makes it so pricey! but anyways!!!!! this place was decent. my sister & i got 3 ILBS of seafood (potatoes, corn sausage included) & it was about $50 so we split it so about $25 each. not bad prices but still a bit pricey for a boil. in the general seattle area i feel that this is one of the better places to go to because of the portion sizes & the price! my sister and i ordered shrimp, crab & clams. (they were generous with the crab) it came out fresh & BLAZING! we don't do well with extremely spicy so we got 2 stars & it wasn't even spicy so i would recommend 3 & up if you love spice!!

3 stars for the sauce, it was okay to me. It was really thick and very garlicky. 5 stars for freshness and the frozen crawfish tasted realllyyy bomb!! Being frozen there was no frozen after taste of preservatives at all!!! And it was juicy. Clams were big and juicy!!! Dungeness was fresh since it is Dungeness season. We got the boom bang house sauce level 4 and 5. The spiciness was similar. It wasn't that spicy. Place is small. Maybe 10 tables max. One server only and maybe one chef in the back only.

    Golf size potato worth $1.50

I want to start by saying that I have been a regular patron. I enjoyed the food and I have recommended this place to many friends and family. My most recent purchase will be my last. I was so disappointed with the food and service received. First, my order was not filled properly. I had to drive back after arriving home and seeing that I was missing a lb. of shrimp and the lb. we did get weighed 5oz. (see video). All the food was overcooked. The snow crab looked charred... don't know why. We ordered potatoes and got 1 the size of a golf ball. Don't know if it's under new management, but seems like ever since there was the price increase and change to how you can order combinations, for example you can't do a crab and shrimp combo any longer, that it has never been the same. All of this hassle cost us $77. We will never return.

Gulf shrimp. This is what I could not eat

I order 4 lbs of the mix combo/Gulf shrimp with snowcrab legs 2 small sausages and 2 small potatoes and 2 small corn ( 1 corn cut in half ) I Paid 80$ for the food . I have to say I was not completely satisfied. I feel that the shrimps heads are something most people don't eat and that takes most of the weight Also the crab legs were so thin I got barely any meat out of them Customer service was ok. I would not recommend if you don't like shrimps eys looking at you while you are eating .and if you expect more meat in the crablegs. I feel its somewhat deceiving. The taste over all was good , just overpriced for what you are getting Not trying to be rude or disrespectful but this was my experience and recommendations for this location

The best Crawfish out here! Steamed seafood with whole boom bang sauce on the side is the way to go. Unmelted butter sauce is fire! Not too many drink options but would definitely recommend going here!

    Ever had sea snails?
    Ken L.

Crawdaddies? Why yes, please! On to the Cajun Crawfish! All they sell is crawfish and seafood. The boom bang sauce consists of all of their different sauces mixed into one. There is a ton of garlic and spice in this thick sauce; really tastes like lobster sauce that the Chinese use for their wok dishes. This sauce, if you must eat crawfish, should be your choice. The other sauces aren't ALL that. Here is the only place I know in Seattle that serves sea snails. Take the provided toothpick(s) to extract the meat and dip it into required "damn good" ginger fish sauce. I like the boiled peel and eat large shrimp with cocktail sauce. All the fried seafood baskets work well. The softshell crab and the oysters basket choices hit the spot, with fries that aren't too oily. I just have to mention that one time a cutie pie that looks like an Asian double of a Jennifer Love Hewitt was our server. A bonus also, football is usually on TV and their happy hour prices make my choices quick and easy.

I was really happy to hear they now have a physical location to get to, so I drove to get here on a Sunday at 4pm. They share an excruciatingly tight parking lot with places like Ba Mien Seafood Market and Moochee, and I would advise using street parking near these lots or farther up Myrtle Street and even 38th Ave S; I usually have better luck finding spots around those areas. The inside was playing a combination of V-pop and K-pop throughout my visit, and included a handful of tables for groups of 2-4 people. You order what you want up at the front. They're best know for their fried chicken, but I got their mango lover's smoothie this time as it was a pretty hot day. Very refreshing, and the mangoes themselves were very fresh as if they just turned ripe. I had the opportunity to visit their current location with fellow Yelp Elite All Star, Carol C earlier today (4/11/26) at their current spot in South Seattle/Othello near S Myrtle & MLK Way. The parking lot is shared with many other businesses and the slots are weirdly configured, kind of tight, so exercise patience and caution. Other options include finding offsite street parking or use public transit (bus or light rail). That being said our timing was perfect, arriving right before the weekend lunch rush. We were able to peruse the posted menus, see the daily specials, which included the last weekend for Taste of Nations dining deals. Place your order and pay at the counter. One can dine onsite, others chose takeout. Orders are brought directly to one's table. Bus your table at the end. Carol C ordered a Hong Kong lemon iced tea, garlic noodles with fish sauce wings, and also added some lemon pepper wings. I did the same with the Hong Kong lemon iced tea, garlic noodles with shaken beef, and added an order of fish sauce wings. The iced tea was a bit sweet for me after a few sips. The rest was polished off later by The Homie. The garlic noodles were flavorful, beef was tender, and I enjoyed the red and yellow peppers. I did end up making a side pile of onions and green peppers, just not my preference. Overall the entree was okay, just a bit oily. Fish sauce wings were as I remembered and also brought home to share. While the overall dining experience was fine, experienced helpful customer service, what was ordered was accurate and received in good time, I would only return if in the vicinity. Thanks Carol for getting us there without incident to/from despite the traffic, weather, and parking situation!

What immediately caught our attention (for obvious reasons) was the bold sign: LIVE KING CRAB. We walked in and were instantly impressed. Large water tanks filled with live Dungeness crab and live king crab, crystal-clear water, and absolutely no fishy smell--always an excellent sign. The space feels more like a clean, well-run warehouse set up for both wholesale and retail, not a typical seafood market. A gentleman working there quickly came over and started chatting with us about crab. Super knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a wide selection: live, fresh, and frozen crab, Japanese scallops, fish, and a variety of shellfish. We considered the live king crab, but it was honestly too big for the two of us to handle in a hotel kitchen--and definitely would've been a splurge. So, plan B: I called my sister-in-law to see if she'd like some frozen king crab legs. She said yes immediately. The gentleman showed us the frozen options, and the king crab legs were long, meaty, and impressive--similar in size to what Costco carries, but priced better. We ended up negotiating a great deal and purchased a box of their Party Pack King Jumbo Crab Legs for her. Later that evening, she surprised her daughter with a king crab birthday dinner, and they reported the legs were super meaty and absolutely delicious. Safe to say, we'll definitely keep Seattle Seafood Center in mind for future seafood splurges.
