However it is not the traditional way to serve Vietnamese bamboo duck soup. The duck is placed in the soup versus on the side with the salad. The salad that comes is a variety of crunchy colorful cabbages, carrots, and coriander. Peanuts and deep fried shallots (I like to put some of this into the soup). That sauce tho. It's some secret crack. Mix of ginger garlic fish sauce, and crack. It's so good for an extra spread on the salad, a little bit in the soup, and of course to dip your duck in!
