So I've gone to the one in white center in burien and it was still as good as the one there. Much closer, good ample parking. It wasn't slow but a good amount of people. Service was AMAZING! I saw the waitress pour a shot of henny and the guy offered me a shot but I was driving. Very bright nice and open space. Ambience is a great place to have dinners and hang out for games cause all the games were playing. We ordered the special that came with muscles, clams, shrimp, and snow crab legs. House sauce in a 3, but felt like we could've ordered it in a 4. And added a pound of crawfish to it. Very affordable pricing with the amount of meat the seafood had. Cheap beer! Which was great! They advertise their specials on their socials and have other deals in the restaurant which is great if you're splitting with someone. I haven't had a seafood boil in a while, and this place definitely satisfied my craving. We got spice level 3, and it was the perfect amount of heat for me, just a little kick. For reference, I have a pretty weak spice tolerance and the max I usually handle is Hot Cheetos. The staff was super friendly and checked in often to see if we needed drink refills. The space was roomy and cutely designed, great for large parties or group dinners. My favorite seafood boil spot in Washington! Having come from Socal, home to boiling crab and kickin crab, I was reluctant to try seafood boil anywhere else. Which is weird right... because PNW is known for having good and fresh seafood. Crawfish house is so good my husband and I will often drive from Lynnwood down to Renton just to eat this or stop by whenever we're in the area. The seafood is so fresh and the service is amazing, fun, and lively. They will always source quality seafood whenever it is in season. I usually always get the gulf shrimp house sauce level 3 spice. The level 3 is pretty mild spice, so go higher if you want it spicier. The gulf shrimp is like a jumbo shrimp - it's large, sweet, and firm texture. The house sauce itself is flavorful without being too salty from the seasoning. The owner of the restaurant is from Louisiana! So if you're looking for Louisiana style seafood boil in the PNW this is the place. read more

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. We asked if we could sample the sauces before ordering, but our waitress refused, which made it difficult to choose. After placing our order, the food took a very long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it was overcooked and rubbery. The restaurant also seemed very disorganized. Staff members were constantly running around, appearing overwhelmed and uncoordinated. To make matters worse, several empty tables around us still had food scraps and dirty dishes left behind from previous customers, creating an unclean dining environment. Overall, the service, food quality, and cleanliness all fell well below expectations. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. read more

Can I just say how nice it was for my daughter's boyfriend to bring this home for us! I haven't ate much seafood boil, but he really likes the Crawfish House in Renton. I'm glad that I was able to have this for dinner after a long day of work. They brought home seafood boil with snow crab, corns, shrimps, and crawfish. I believe the sauce was Cajun, garlic butter which was recommended to him by the server. Even though this was brought home, it was still yummy! Which is very nice of them and it was good like they said! Celebrated my best friend's birthday here at Crawfish House on a Wednesday night and we thoroughly enjoyed the service and food. We ordered 2 lbs of snow crab, 1 lb of clam and 1 lb of crawfish and we were stuffed. The sauce is probably the best in the area. Really great experience here. Popped in around 5ish and the place as pretty empty, maybe 2 other tables but as time went on it steadily began to fill. Service is super friendly. Restaurant itself is open and provides good space between tables / patrons. Little dirty but honestly cleaner than a lot of other places. Big menu and lots sounded good. Ordered the 1/2 oyster po'boy and yuca fries but was definitely tempted by the soft shell crap option. I like that you can also choose between all the fries (regular, tots, Cajun, yuca and yam). Also tried the dirty rice roll, not sure why I was expecting a sushi type roll but what came out was incredible. Think a massive effort roll full of delicious dirty rice but mostly meat and the sauce was sweet and full of crawfish. Every bite was good and it was so comforting. That sauce was also incredible on everything, I ended up dipping my yuca fries in to it. The po'boy bread was thick and super crunchy- so much so that it actually tore my mouth up but the oysters were fat and hefty, making for a really good bite. The fries were dense and fried to perfection. Next time I'd order a side of fries and just pour that crawfish sauce on it to make my own entree. read more

The Renton location of the Crawfish House is relatively new-ish. The restaurant is well-sized, but the parking lot was surprisingly limited even though the adjacent business was closed then. We were lucky to have grabbed a spot that someone vacated. When we arrived, a huge group was done eating and otherwise, only 2 or 3 tables were occupied. Even so, the two wait persons were quite busy. Maybe it is still growing pains in managing the restaurant. The décor is basically TV screens, several of them. I have never been to the other location, so I don't know if they aim to be a sports bar, too. A piece of paper at the door announced no crawfish. Ah well. We decided against ordering seafood boil because of it. We ordered ahead of two other tables who sat down after us. All three tables received our food at the exact same time at a substantially longer wait for our table. This tells me they are batch-cooking in the kitchen, grouping orders together. I hope they change to cook per order. Our fries visually looked good but were limp upon biting. They could have used more frying time. We took home most of the yam fries to air-fry some more. The staff here is amazing. I love the tango sauce but I always feel like it's a hit or miss here. The White Center location is definitely imo. Unfortunately whenever I come here i do have to wait really long. My dad and I ended up waiting over an hour to get our food. Although we did have yummy drinks to keep us occupied, it's a pretty long wait. Clams were huge and delicious but I felt like the crawfish was a bit overcooked. I been waiting for this place for a while now since I really enjoyed the food in white center. The rating is more of a 3.5 right now but I'm hoping it's because they are new that they will improve. There was about 3-4 groups when we got there so it wasn't too busy. It was also happy hour so everything was $1 off except for the boil. The place is not too loud so it was nice and I like the openess of the restaurant making it bright. Foodwise: 1lb mussels + 1lb shrimp --- fresh, plump and yummy. Wish that potato and corn would be included but it's not, unless you order crawfish Crawfish corn chowder --not sure if they chopped up the crawfish too fine but did not get any crawfish at all. Soft shell crab plate with Cajun fries -- pretty good need more fries though Raw oysters: fresh, but needs better shucking, there was a lot of oyster shells remnant which makes it hard to eat Service: people were nice and came by to refill our water and asked how our food was. However, food came out very slowly. We ordered a second plate of the oyster and that one took soo long that the waiter keeps coming by asking if we were waiting for the check...it wasn't that busy so not sure why the slowness. Crawfish House has always been a staple to get crab clams and shrimp. We have been going there for over 5 years and it has always been delicious. We start off with a strawberry lemonade and the combo of fried mushrooms and calamari. Both delicious. However, in the recent visit we have noticed the quality of the seafood going down on the snow and king crab which is our go to order. I usually order the "house sauce" which is a favorite and 3 or 4 spicy. With two corns and one potato. I usually stir away from the crawfish because on crawfish off seasons the crawfish is frozen and you can taste the difference. However, the last visit the crawfish was fresh, delicious but a little small. I gave this place a 3.7 due to the quality of the crab and because if you like traditional Vietnamese style boils the sauce tends to be a little sweeter. I prefer a dryer less sweet sauce. Came here with my Family to celebrate my Birthday. We usually go to the White Center location, but this one is so much closer. There's a lot of parking, the inside is nice and very spacious! Our server JENNY was absolutely amazing. She was so attentive, accommodating of our kiddos and made our visit so special. She honestly went above and beyond! If you're familiar with their other location, the food is the same! Tasty, fresh seafood and good quantity + quality! Their house flavor is a must! Some other seafood boil restaurants tend to really skimp on the crab and even serve cold. But, I've never had this experience here. It's also so convenient how they have a hand washing station! Recently visited Crawfish House this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see that it is Viet-owned! The Renton location is relatively new, since it's been open for less than a month, and the interior design was beautiful. I learned from our waitress that the owner worked on the walls himself! I really loved the service, because we were provided plenty of gloves, fun bibs, and paper towels and felt very welcomed to dine in! Everyone was attentive of our needs, and the seafood tasted fresh! The Cajun fries were crispy and came with a Cajun-Mayo sauce that complemented it very well. It's my favorite appetizer, and I would definitely get it again. The shrimp was meaty and received many compliments from my table. The House sauce was savory and it seasoned the seafood very well, however, it was extremely buttery. If the butter was cut down a bit, it would've been perfect! We also ordered sodas for our meal, but they were all flat. For additional sides, we paid $2.50 for 4 extra sausages and potatoes, but we didn't expect them to just be small slices. Ordered seafood boil to go. Forgot to take a pic, I jumped right in. I ordered the special 2lb crab legs and then 1 lb of headless shrimp. I added the 2 corn/ 2 potatoes side combo. Plenty left overs. The shrimp was in the house sauce and crabs in Louie sauce. I combined everything when I got home and together the sauces were very good. I had read reviews that the house sauce wasn't that flavorful as you would expect so I think adding the Louie sauce gave it that flavor you're looking for, plus the buttery garlic. I really enjoyed my seafood. The crabs were good sizes and very meaty. The shrimp were large, a little over cooked, but still satisfying. When ordering the host assumed me and another black woman were together, although she was 4 people behind me, out of everyone there, she wasn't even close to me. I took a star away for that. First time at this restaurant and I really didn't know what to expect. You'd think it would be a Louisiana type of seafood boil but instead it was like an Asian version of a Louisiana seafood boil and it was AMAZING! You order the type of seafood you want by the pound. Everything from crawfish to clams to mussels to shrimp and different types of crab and then you pick a sauce. The house sauce was crazy good and the whole reason I'll be coming back! It was fantastic on the seafood and even more amazing on the corn and sausage. You should definitely order at least one pound of crawfish per person and other things as well or you'll be hungry. We ordered soft shell crabs and gizzards for appetizers, yum! I would also order extra corn and sausage as part of the boil. It comes with just a few pieces with the crawfish but you'll definitely want more! Also, be sure to use their bibs and gloves. This place is awesome! This is a bigger version of their seattle location and has a relaxing beach vibe. As you come in and you see the "dock" with outdoor seating and when you're inside, it feels light and airy. There's a lot of decoration to check out from the floor to the ceiling. I came here and got 3lbs crawfish, 1lb of snow crab, and 1 lb of clams all in house sauce, 5 stars with no corn, potato, and sausage. We also got the 3 combo appetizer with gizzards, pickles, and calamari-all cooked to perfection with the perfect crunchy, but not too crunchy or overcooked texture. A dozen oysters were on the half shell with some cocktail sauce and Tabasco. It was fresh and they were on the smaller side which is my preference. I also enjoyed a strawberry margarita which is on the sweeter side and it's perfect to sip on in between the seafood. Decided to try their second location and was very pleased with both the food and service. They have both front and back parking so plenty of spaces to park, way better than their white center parking situation. We were seated promptly and the food came out super quick (less than 15 mins). Wow, we are excited to have a new local favorite. While I do love a good boil, they offer lots of different types of foods, which I am going to need to try. On this, our first, visit, I did combo one with the house seasoning extra hot. The amount of flavor, size of shrimp, and overall quality was a huge success and exciting. There is another, similar place in Southcenter (I won't mention the name) that doesn't even hold a candle to this place. We also started with the egg rolls, those were interesting and good, although I would save room for other, better items on the menu. Others at the table got boils, sandwiches, and noodles. I have been to the location in White Center quite a few times over the years and was glad to see the Renton restaurant open, after considerable delay. By the time we visited (late July 2023), any new-restaurant operating kinks seem to have been worked out - everything ran smoothly for us. We were greeted promptly and courteously, and our food came hot and quick. The food didn't blow us away, but it was not bad at all and we'll be back to try some other things on the menu. The restaurant has a full bar. While we like the food a little more at White Center - so far, anyway, based on a single visit - the atmosphere and parking are more pleasant in Renton. Came here last week and was excited to try the food here. Service was absolutely terrible. Michael was just hanging out behind the bar and pointed lazily to an area to his right to sit. Eventually Anthony came to our table but he didn't know the market prices of anything, said he would be back but it took him a while to return as he was serving other tables and goofing off with another boy who was just eating pepperoni sticks behind the counter. When he didn't bring our waters after 15 minutes, we should've just left, but against my better judgement, I wanted to try their food so I ordered one pound of headless shrimp for $19 and two pieces of corn and two pieces of sausage for $2.50. When the food finally came out, I was was abhorred. Inside a little plastic bag roughly the size of a sandwich sized ziplock bag was allegedly one pound of shrimp, and the corn/sausage. The entire bag with the corn and shrimp and sausage and sauce probably weighed barely more than a half a pound. Completely ridiculous for $19 there were 7 pathetic shrimp in there. Anthony brought the "manager" over who was a girl who was very nice and agreed that it definitely wasn't a pound of shrimp and it looked pathetic. She took it back to the kitchen and after ten minutes came back and said sorry the kitchen won't add anymore, the owner told them to serve the food in that quantity and it was probably a pound before the heads were taken off. Ridiculous. The most she said she could do was take 10% off our bill, which is ridiculous to still pay $17 for the seven little shrimp in the bag. So we just left, because there is no way it is worthwhile to pay that much for that small of a quantity of shrimp. The service is somewhere between lazy, unprofessional, or helpless, depending on which server we are referring to. The food smelled good but not for that price and pathetic of a quantity. Normally a pound of shrimp (especially headless shrimp) would be enough for a person to eat as a meal, but not here, you would need AT LEAST "two pounds", if not "three pounds" of shrimp. I am sure they take advantage of people ordering multiple pounds of items so you can't track how undersized their portions are. I will sadly not be returning to this establishment, luckily there are various other Cajun/Asian seafood boil places that have been popping up in the area, at much more reasonable price points/portion sizes. read more

We went here as a group of 6. The service was decent and the staff was friendly. It wasn't that busy when we got there, but sometimes had to wait or flag down someone to get refills or to order. As a group we felt that the food was a little bit pricier, if we were to get something again I'd get the shrimp. The crawfish were a little small and felt that it wasn't worth the effort when some were smaller than half my pinky. The fried mushrooms and cajun fries were pretty good though and my friends who got the whole crab thought it was tasty. Unfortunately all of us had stomach issues the next day. I have an iron stomach so I was pretty surprised I was having pain and issues, one friend had to call out of work as well.
