You don't see prices like that anymore... And the lady was very nice. She stuffed the banh mi, asked if we want to cut it in half. The banh mi comes with pate as well as butter. Not many places does that. It was a good banh mi, especially for the price. Satisfied my cravings. I also got some wings to try and for 4 jumbo wings, you only pay $3.97! That is a deal. I air fried them when I got home and it was really good! Better than some restaurants! Definitely a hole in the wall. Will be back for sure.

I was going to order it without jalapeño but I'm actually glad I kept it in. They luckily didn't have seeds and were sliced thinly. It gave my sandwich a nice spice that was easy to eat. The size is perfect and the bread was toasted nicely. It had a good crunch on the outside. I'd say some of the meat was fatty but that fat was cut in bite sized cubes so I didn't mind it. Very filling and tasty flavor. Good filling to bread ratio in my opinion. The customer service was also amazing. Such kind ladies behind the counter and quick and easy service. I'd order here again.

Seattle Seafood Center was such a great find--one of those unexpected gems you stumble upon while…read morelooking for parking for a nearby restaurant. What immediately caught our attention (for obvious reasons) was the bold sign: LIVE KING CRAB. We walked in and were instantly impressed. Large water tanks filled with live Dungeness crab and live king crab, crystal-clear water, and absolutely no fishy smell--always an excellent sign. The space feels more like a clean, well-run warehouse set up for both wholesale and retail, not a typical seafood market. A gentleman working there quickly came over and started chatting with us about crab. Super knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a wide selection: live, fresh, and frozen crab, Japanese scallops, fish, and a variety of shellfish. We considered the live king crab, but it was honestly too big for the two of us to handle in a hotel kitchen--and definitely would've been a splurge. So, plan B: I called my sister-in-law to see if she'd like some frozen king crab legs. She said yes immediately. The gentleman showed us the frozen options, and the king crab legs were long, meaty, and impressive--similar in size to what Costco carries, but priced better. We ended up negotiating a great deal and purchased a box of their Party Pack King Jumbo Crab Legs for her. Later that evening, she surprised her daughter with a king crab birthday dinner, and they reported the legs were super meaty and absolutely delicious. Safe to say, we'll definitely keep Seattle Seafood Center in mind for future seafood splurges. If you love high-quality seafood and especially crab, this place is worth a stop--even if it's an unplanned one.

Some days it's a hit or miss if i'm going to be honest, like for the papaya salad it's like they don't put enough padaek but 9 times out of 10 they do it good. The spot itself is tucked inside a small grocery store, which gives it a really homey, lowkey vibe. It's not fancy at all, but that's part of the charm you're here for the food, and it delivers every time. And if you're looking at my photo... ignore the seafood boil they don't sell that here, I just brought it into the mix because I was feeling extra and felt like a big back.

The Lao sausage was really flavorful and huge. It came with sticky rice and jeow sam. The tom khao poon was a huge bowl serving! It came with lots of liquids and thin shredded papaya. I was hoping it came with eggplant, but it didn't. I also bought really expensive pork rinds to eat with it. I think the pork rinds was $6.99. I'll definitely be back to try their pak sien. Sorry I'm probably butchering all the spelling.
