I recently visited Just Poké and had a pretty solid experience overall, with a few small things that kept it from being great. I started with the Spam musubi, which was honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The Spam itself was soft, flavorful, and really satisfying to bite into. It had that perfect savory-sweet balance you'd hope for. My only critique is that there was a bit too much rice compared to the Spam, which made the ratio feel slightly off. With just a little less rice, it would've been spot on. For the mains, I tried both the Teriyaki Salmon and the Sesame Seared Salmon. The Teriyaki Salmon was very enjoyable -- the flavoring was rich and well-balanced without being overwhelming. It paired really nicely with the salad and mac salad that came with it, making for a well-rounded and filling meal. The Sesame Seared Salmon was also very tasty, especially with the fresh salad. The sesame added a nice texture and flavor that complemented the fish well. That said, the portion size of the salmon felt a bit small. I found myself wishing there was more of it, as it was gone pretty quickly compared to the rest of the dish. Overall, my experience at Just Poké was decent. The food quality is definitely there, with good flavors and fresh ingredients, but slight adjustments in portion balance would make a big difference. I'd still come back to try more from the menu. read more

I appreciate being able to build my own bowls with a variety of proteins, toppings, and sauces. The portions are filling and well priced for a casual, healthy meal. The staff are helpful, quick, and attentive, especially at this location. They have unique drinks and sides. This is my go to place when I am craving something fresh, filling and quick! The poke bowls are a good size with plenty of protein of choice! The spicy tuna is always my go to, and I've recently tried the creamy scallops which were really tasty as well! The only reason for the 4 stars is that I wish their staff was friendlier. They're polite but very forced. read more

I was so glad when I heard Just Poke opened up close to work. There are some days I would like to have sushi for lunch, but found something similar. The service is quick and convenient during lunch time. Not to mention the cashiers or servers are all so kind, as well. The place is spotless inside and has a couple tables if you would like to dine in. The other thing they serve there is bubble tea, too! I haven't tried that yet, but I have only ordered the torched mentaiko salmon bowl a few times now. This review is for pure boba, I ordered the black sesame latte with almond milk and it wasn't bad. The black sesame wasn't as subtle as other places- you can taste it. I didn't find the drink too sweet either. I'm giving 3 stars because the drink is advertised as having black sesame paste smeared on the inside so you're getting way more black sesame, that was not the case (see my photo). I ordered these via Uber Eats today. I ordered two things: 1. Furikake chex mix-this is SO GOOD! It is a tasty treat and I love the balance of savory and sweet. I would love the option of having more bag sizes-I would have gotten more! 2. Build Your Own Bowl (Large). This one is so subjective because it is all about personal preference. I ordered their salmon, shoyu salmon, spicy ahi with avocado on white rice and greens. I included my receipt with all my additions. I am so impressed with this-it was worth the splurge! Boba & poke at the same time? Heck yeah! The "pure boba" section attached to the poke bar is pretty unique because they have interesting flavors like a taro berry smoothie, taro Oreo smoothie, and brown sugar ube latte!! I got their ruby fizz (grenadine) which is a pomegranate syrup, and I also tried their black sesame latte which tasted like an authentic sesame ball in a drink, so I was pleasantly surprised. Their poke is okay, the small garnishing of toppings atop fish that wasn't old, but it wasn't fresh either, so I will come back to try their "torched" bowls next time to see how that goes. Since it was my first time ordering a build-your-bowl, the cashier was helpful in leading me through how to do it, and the large tables and chairs inside were clean and decorated nicely! The build your own poke bowl offers lots of great options. I ordered half of creamy scallops and half of the Hawaiian ahi which were both tasty on a bed of greens. I loved that there were so many mix ins and topping to choose from as well. The sauces tend to be on the saltier side so I would recommend choosing mix ins that would help balance the flavors. I also got the brown sugar milk tea with boba which tasted more like milk with syrup than other places I've ordered the drink at, so i'd get something else next time. The staff were very friendly and the space was bright and clean. It's located in a strip mall so lots of parking available. read more

Amazing food and hospitality from the manager Margarine. I ordered the Pink Lychee Smoothie, similar to the Strawberry Ice Blended from ShareTea and it was the bomb. So I ordered a poke bowl and brown sugar ube crystal boba. First the boba is very weird texture so don't get the crystal boba. It doesn't feel like it's worth the price. The poke bowl salmon or ahi tuna doesn't seem too fresh. I think it's mostly the ahi tuna because me and my friend got the pretty much exact same order but I got ahi tuna and she got garlic shrimp. I had a bad tummy ache and minor food poisoning after I ate some of the poke bowl or boba, one of them. I didn't eat anything else beforehand. So I'm sure it's definitely from the Just Poke. Never coming back to this location again:( read more

I was excited to check this location out, but my excitement was dimmed when they got my order wrong. This was mid-week, nobody else in the restaurant, maybe one or two mobile orders in the queue, plus me. I ordered a Poke bowl and a boba tea. The order was right on the receipt but I guess the person making it became a bit mixed up. The restaurant itself was relatively clean and the staff were friendly but I was a bit bummed from the inaccuracy. Nevertheless, the fish was fresh and the flavors were good. Tl;Dr: really good convenient place to get poke (and possibly boba) by freddies! Environment: super clean! And neat. There's some tables and chairs to sit on as well if you're too hungry to wait til you get home. Service: service is pretty good. :) Food: the poke is pretty good. I only usually ever get salmon and ahi. Both fishes were pretty fresh and really good. Despite some early new business hiccups, the Just Poke chain continues to be on point for serving up delicious Poke bowls! They have an abundance of toppings of which only few cost extra. Their rewards program easily gets you points for things like free miso soup. I also appreciate they came up with unique offerings like this location has boba, the Renton Landing one has acai bowls, and sometimes they offer (toasted) tempura shrimp or unagi. The staff is super friendly and parking is as easy as it can be in a Fred Meyer shared lot. Check them out! read more

Wanted to try their creamy scallop but was sold out and settled for a 2nd scoop of salmon which wasn't the worst. Overall, a great price for the amount you get compared to other places, esp with so many extra toppings to choose from but just wish the main proteins were more than just a scoop. Staff was quick and sweet, and location was clean and convenient so that's a plus. They're next to Pho World and Fredmeyer so you can also grocery shop while out. I got: Sushi Rice, sweet potato, salmonx2. Eel Sauce, Maui Fire Sauce (Gluten-Free), Truffle Garlic Aioli (Gluten-Free), Seaweed, Sweet Onion, Cucumber, Ginger, Pineapple, House-Made Kimchi, Masago, Wasabi, Seaweed Salad, Edamame, Spicy Crab salad, regular Crab Salad, Crunchy Onion, and Furikake Next time would pass on the sweet potato (soggy quick), wasabi and kimchi(just no) and Maui fire sauce (more sriracha than anything). We love this place! My daughter doesn't eat raw fish but she likes the tofu bowl and the torched shrimp tempura bowl. And considering there aren't that many boba drink places around here, this has been our go to place for boba. Both Marg and Daphne are super friendly and helpful. Definitely a solid option for Poké if you're in the area. The restaurant is attached to a Fred Meyer, so it's convenient for a snack to help prevent you from shopping hungry. When you step inside, you're greeted with a fresh, modern design, with sparse but cute decor on the wall, big screens clearly spelling out the menu and ordering process (a la carte shops like these can be anxiety-inducing), and a few pleasant tables for those that would like to dine in. They offer a wide variety of boba drinks, some pre-built bowl combinations, and a beautiful array of mix-ins for your perusal. We got the TarOreo smoothie, Spicy Ahi bowl, and Rainbow Roll bowl. It was good - as good as any poké I've had. They appear to have a mini-bowl option that isn't on the menu, and I think it should be. When we entered, the shop was empty, and we stood at the order counter for a long time without being acknowledged as the lone employee worked on an online order. Finally, I realized that there was a screen prompting me to place an order myself, and I figured that's why we were being ignored. So I tried to place an order, and the virtual menu said that every food option was sold out. _ So we continued to stand there until the employee finished with her order and came back to us. To her credit, she was the only one working at the time and was understandably frazzled. I've been there. When she did start helping us, she was fantastic, friendly, and upbeat despite the fact that it had been a long day for her. Halfway through the order, her manager arrived and started to help. She was also friendly and generous. Hearing questions at Poké places is often tough for me because of loud music, the plastic separators, and employee masks (+1 for safety!), but these two made it really easy and even provided recommendations for what would add an extra kick to the bowls. Seconds after we sat down, a large wave of customers came in and the pair deftly worked through it. read more

This used to be a Baskin-Robbins location. I was filling up at the Fred Meyer gas station and saw that this was now a poke shop. A lot closer to where I live than the other places I've been to so I thought I'd give it a try. When I walked in it's a small lobby with just a couple of tables but everything was clean, neat and orderly. The girls behind the counter were very friendly and welcoming and answered our questions. I selected the dynamite and I'm really glad I did. It was spicy without being too hot and everything was fresh and delicious. I asked for recommendations on toppings and sauces and I'm very pleased with what they picked. Really great experience all around and I will definitely be back. read more

Didn't want to go grocery shopping hungry ‍ so I stopped into my favorite poke shop (I usually visit Renton Landing) and had a build your own bowl with spicy tuna and extra pineapple . It was quiet when I stopped by after the lunch hour and the young lady who helped me was so sweet. She made it a fun but quick experience since I told her I still had errands to run. I know this place is a franchise chain. I have been to their locations in the Landing and also in Covington and by far this is the best location! The employees are so cool! They are just nice and friendly and make me want to hang around. They have a lot of information about their Drinks and tons of suggestions for good poke combinations. Something about their personalities made this Poké bowl taste even better than the other places. Plus, all the tables were nice and clean, and the music was fire. read more

I've been looking for a convenient poke spot to grab lunch on a weekday and this place grabbed my attention. It's in the same plaza with Fred Meyer so you can grab some quick groceries as needed next door as well. The fish was fresh and the selection of toppings was superb. The spicy crab salad topping was very good and I was pleasantly surprised that I could add it to my bowl with no additional charge. Wow what happened to this place? Not sure if it's just this one or all the just pokes but seems like inflation got them... they use to fill it up with the portion sizes and now there is a definite notice in the scoop sizes of the fish, toppings etc. You best bet is to go to don buri station and get their charashi bowls... much better deal and quality read more

It was very nice of her to remake it but it was still very salty. By then, I didn't want to eat it anymore. She offered to remake it for the third time as the chef was feeling bad about it. I told her, it's OK. My mouth only tasted salt and I had chucked down so much water including the free drinks she offered. I was already full. My daughter tasted it and said it was OK and told me she would eat my kalua pork and I could have her leftover half of chicken katsu. Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. We came on a Wednesday and happened to score a parking spot right in front of the bakery. Once you arrive, get in line immediately--there will be one. The woman taking our order was incredibly peppy and friendly, even while juggling everything: taking in-person orders, answering phones, serving customers, and bagging food. Seriously impressive. All the seats were filled, so we ordered everything to-go. We got the famous crispy ginger chicken, spam musubi, and chicken long rice. I was hoping for oxtail soup and asked about it--she explained they only offer it on certain days and recommended calling early in the morning to check, then getting there quickly because it sells out fast. Can't wait to come back and try it. Back at the hotel, we feasted. The crispy ginger chicken is famous for a reason--so flavorful, perfectly crispy, and somehow even better the next day. The chicken long rice was packed with noodles directly in the soup (not separately) so the broth had mostly soaked into the noodles, but it was still deeply flavorful and comforting. The spam musubi leans on the sweeter side, which is great if that's your thing. Overall, this place is all about heart, hustle, and seriously satisfying Hawaiian comfort food.
