The Bygone is definitely worth visiting for the views alone. Located on the 29th floor of the hotel, it offers stunning 365-degree views of Baltimore, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to take it all in. Whether you're stopping by for cocktails or a full meal, the setting is beautiful, and the bar has an impressive variety of drinks. The bar staff was also super friendly and welcoming. One thing I noticed was the DJ booth above the bar. Unfortunately, on a Saturday night around 9:00 p.m., there wasn't much of an atmosphere. The music was so low and monotone that you could barely hear it, and the entire space felt a bit stuffy. With views like these, I expected a much livelier vibe. Someone who visits regularly told us this place used to be much more energetic when there was a DJ, but lately it's become pretty quiet. I can definitely see the potential because the venue itself is gorgeous--it just seemed to be missing the energy that would make people want to stay. We ended up leaving after one drink because the atmosphere felt like a bit of a yawn. That said, I'd still recommend stopping in for a cocktail and to enjoy the incredible views. Hopefully they'll bring back the DJ and revive the fun, vibrant atmosphere this place seems built for.

We had an amazing experience at Bygone! The food was absolutely delicious, and our waiter, KJ, made the evening even better. He was personable, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout our meal. The wine he recommended paired perfectly with my prime rib. Between the beautiful atmosphere, excellent food, and outstanding service, it was truly a memorable dining experience. I would definitely return!

Truly a memorable experience. I felt very special as soon as I entered the restaurant. The staff was so warm and friendly. Beautiful wall of wines as we walked to our table. The food is expensive, but it was worth the experience. There was a sauce that was used on the prime rib that was amazing. I honestly came just to have the potato puree. Best thing I've ever eaten. The view is reason enough to go.

Bygone fully redeemed themselves!! We had amazing time celebrating a birthday! From the moment we walked into the restaurant, EVERYONE was cordial, attentive, and very helpful. Our host and server were very knowledgeable of the menu and drink options, and made excellent recommendations....and our table attendants were also efficient and kind. Our food was absolutely delicious (and expensive) and was brought out in a timely manner. The ambiance is sophisticated and trendy, with our booth having velvet back seating and beautiful low lights. Even though the restaurant is wonderfully styled, the vibe at night is a must see. Parking at the Four Seasons is available through garage, and valet, but you can also find street parking on the next street over. Overall, Highly recommend!

The views from The Bygone are amazing! We stopped in here somewhat early on a Friday night. We had just come from happy hour so we opted for a few bar bites and dessert. We ordered the pineapple and peanut butter cake to share as well as the strawberry toast and meatballs. The guava on the pineapple cake was fresh. I wasn't a fan of the bar bites, the meatballs were lukewarm and the lack of flavor made them feel overpriced. I wouldn't order what had again. The bartenders were attentive and welcoming. It was my birthday so the bartender offered us a champagne toast to celebrate which was an amazing touch. I'd definitely return but I'd opted to come back and try the cocktails since we missed them this time around. The views were 5/5 The food was 3/5 The service was 4/5

What an experience. We were able to secure a walk-in table on a Saturday for the Mrs and our baby. They have a great view and the service was so thoughtful and caring. We really were made to feel like honored guests. The food came in - Australian rack of lamb, prime rib, and half dozen oysters. We had a red wine to pair with our meat. Deliciously cooked to perfection while being served at an excellent level with a nice view of the city.

Came here for a a Birthday Party on Super Bowl Sunday. It was a great experience. It's located on the 29th floor of the 4 Seasons Hotel. You have the option for valet at $26 or self parking at 25. Since I didn't want to take that cold walk I did valet. The birthday celebration was held in an upstairs room. They were kind enough to bring a TV up so we could watch the game. The best thing about the Bygone was the views. Spectacular seeing the city lights at night. Only had drinks there. The Old Fashioned I had was a little on the sweet side. I also had a seasonal Checkerspot Brewery beer that was on draft. Service for the birthday celebration was impeccable. The bar tender was great. I wish I could remember his name. He was very knowledgeable and made some great drinks. They have a huge selection of spirits so you can get just about any cocktail you can think of. I would like to come back for a dining experience one day.

We chose to dine here to celebrate our move to Baltimore. We came on a Monday night so it was not very busy. I love a quiet, romantic restaurant with a view, this fit the bill perfectly. The views of the Inner Harbor from our corner table were fabulous. The decor is chic and old school glam, I loved it. We opted for the tasting menu. Each plate was artistically presented and thoughtfully prepared. The chef even came out and explained one of the courses. I sincerely enjoy all of the effort and talent that goes into creating this type of feast. So why only three stars? The service and the timing of the courses. The service was odd (by committee) some courses explained, others not. There were huge stretches of time between a few of the plates. We were not offered extra bread during these times. When we requested a bit more, there was a definite eye roll vibe. Certain courses that I am positive were meant to be served hot were indeed not. We were checked on frequently during the first half of the meal, the second half we could not even get water refills. Finally, there was a palate cleanser that was a bit tricky to eat, and one of the waitresses came by and made a snarky comment. We have enjoyed many tasting menus. At this point in my foodie life, my expectations are pretty high for both taste, presentation, and service. Especially at this price point. This place missed the mark.

Views, views, views!!! Did I mention full 360° panoramic views of the entire city? The Bygone is on the 29th floor of the Four Seasons and truly has one of the most breathtaking dining views in Baltimore. It's worth coming just for that alone. The ambiance feels glamorous and old-school Gatsby meets modern rooftop lounge. The service was attentive and kind, and the energy of the place makes it perfect for a date night or drinks with friends. The food (prime rib, bygone burger, and crab cake) and cocktails are good, though for the price point there are certainly stronger options in the city. Still, if you're going for the vibes and views, The Bygone definitely delivers

Heirloom Tomato Toast: grilled sourdough, fresh goat cheese, peaches, pin nuts, and mint

The service and food here is always great. Highly recommend coming to the Bygone. I come here for many special occasions

Brunch at The Bygone is a *vibe*--think sky-high views, luxe decor, and a waiter with A+ banter. I booked a week ahead and scored a window seat, which was worth it alone. Tried nearly everything (caviar excluded). The carved meats? Stellar. That salmon? A love letter. Steak? Perfectly medium rare, with a DIY option if you're a well-done type. Fruit was fresh, desserts were meh. Downside: salty bacon, confused French toast (hard *and* soggy?), and forgettable sausage. Would I brunch again? Probably not. But dinner? I'm intrigued. Come for the view, stay for the steak. skip the French toast.

Its…read moreusually hard to get a breakfast buffet wrong but unfortunately this buffet experience was lackluster. They offered a variety of items: deviled eggs, scrambled eggs, chicken and waffles, beef and chorizo quesadillas, sausage, home fries, and French toast. They advertised fruit salad on the menu but they didn't have it out on the day we went. For starters, the food was lukewarm. Everything could have tasted so much better if it was warm. Even when they would refill the pans, everything was still not warm enough. The restaurant was not packed but they were slow to refill for the parties that were there. When we tried to go back for a second plate, most of the items weren't replenished and the line was getting longer. It was so bad that one group asked to pay for their drinks and leave because they weren't able to get any food. My option of each item: Deviled eggs- yolk mixture was on the drier side and bland Scrambled eggs- they were ok. Just needed to be warm Chicken and waffles- it was giving "chicken tender on eggo waffle" chicken was better than the bland waffle. It also didn't help that the syrup they had was cold and thick. It made the waffle (and French toast) colder and hard to swallow. French toast- the first batch was (with the exception of being cold) perfectly cooked and dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar. The refill batches were so burnt and hard to chew and they didn't bother putting powdered sugar on them. Again, the cold syrup didn't help. Beef and chorizo quesadillas- they may have been a crowd favorite because getting a second serving was hard because they kept going quickly and took a while to replenish. They just needed to be warmer and served with sour cream. Home fries- great with the peppers and onions. Just need to be warmer. Sausage- my least favorite thing because it didn't taste like Sausage. It was very dry. Sadly, the food was a epic fail. This may be a great place for cocktails because the bartender mixed our margaritas perfectly. They had a Build Your Own Margarita menu with many different flavor options. I opted for the watermelon margarita with a Tajin rim. Delicious! My friend had a pineapple mango margarita with sugar rim and he was impressed also. The drinks earned them an extra star because otherwise, I think the food and the slow refilling of the buffet earned it 2 stars.
