I would have to say that the quality of cooking is not good. My husband ate a burger and fries and said the burger was okay but the fries were not good. I asked him to order me a shrimp basket. I was working from home and when he brought it home, the shrimp crust was oily and appears dark in color for fried shrimp. Either the oil was too hot or the oil needs a change. The onion rings were just average from frozen however it was dark in color and not appealing. I should have taken the picture before throwing it out. It's only getting 3 stars from me because it's directly on the beach. Anywhere else and I'd give it a one. The food is average at best. But, the worst part is how the restaurant is run. You have to go there with the understanding that the service is going to be bad. The servers all seem to work hard, but they are constantly understaffed. When you arrive there's always messy tables that haven't been cleaned. And you're lucky if there's any ketchup in the bottles on the table. I go there every time we are in town because of it's location, and it's the same bad service every time. So I guess at least it's consistent. read more

I sat down after walking in right from the beach. Quick service, food out in 10 min that was hot and fresh. The server, Rose, had a nice smile and was very attentive considering how busy she was. The singer and guitar player were incredible! read more

The Beach Bucket needs to leave breakfast to McDonalds, Berts Cafe or Peach Valley Café who are in the area and stick to being a bar. I ordered the California omelet and the guacamole looked so brown I couldn't eat it. My husband traded his eggs for mine and said he would eat it. Yuck. My side of potato's were deep fried, over cooked, dried out. I don't use ketchup ever with my breakfast, but this time I did. There were long hairs on the table, hair on the salt shaker and the container the milk came in had a sticky nasty handle. They need to focus on being a bar so when after you drink a while you won't notice how dirty it is. read more

Wonderful place on the beach! Yep, ya gotta go and sit by the fire pits and listen to the ocean and the occasional bands. The Bartender, David knows his drinks and the food is excellent. First time here but not to Daytona - sat out on the deck overlooking the beach - had a few michelob ultras on draft - excellent- weren't here for dinner just for a few drinks but did try the pork nachos and conch fritters - both were very good - the fritters were well seasoned and the pork was very tender. Will definitely stop here again whenever we walk the beach. Tried the key lime pie drink - outstanding- if you like lime you must try this. Our waitress was great. read more

Our group of five tried out this restaurant on 7-4-21 around 1pm and had a short wait for a table. All of the staff was very responsive and friendly. The drinks were frequently checked and refilled by the server or manager. The food was good without being amazing. One person in our party did not care for the Caesar salad as was served warm from the kitchen and the fried shrimp were over cooked. I would try this restaurant again. read more

Went for breakfast and was pretty pleased. Probably a little under staffed, but it didn't affect our experience. Grits were really good. Eggs bacon and omelette were all solid. Coffee lacked a little, but I'm pretty picky when it comes to coffee, I like it strong. You can sit inside or outside. read more

Excellent little place right on the beach. Very convenient as we stayed at the adjoining resort. Breakfast was very good and their hollandaise sauce was fantastic. Poached eggs were very well cooked and the blue crab special breakfast dish was incredible. Only issue were a few small pieces of crab shell in the food (nothing too terribly uncommon with crab meat in an entree). Overall great experience and highly recommend. read more

A great tourist hotspot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Be prepared that most everything is fried. Parking is difficult and limited since it's one small section to the side, but during busy hours they usually have valet parking. The tables outside are picnic tables/benches with umbrellas. The live band is usually obnoxiously loud, like anywhere else. Service is good. It's a great place to unwind or party with friends. And, of course, the ocean view is wonderful. read more

We asked our Airbnb host where a good spot for breakfast was, and she recommended this place. It's on the ground floor of a small hotel overlooking the beach. This is a seat-yourself venue. The majority of the seating is outside, which is cool. However, it was windy enough that we chose to eat inside. There's hardly any seating indoors, but luckily there was a two-top available by the window so that we could still enjoy the view. We were given menus and asked what we wanted to drink by one of the waitstaff. We told him we had never been there, so we would need a few seconds to look at the menu. He told us that we could just let our waitress Lyndsie know what we wanted when she came over. After perusing the menu, my husband decided on the chorizo omelette while I opted for biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs. Both of our meals came with home fries, and we made sure to ask them to cook onions in with them. Lyndsie was very friendly and stayed on top of our needs. The only real downside is that I could barely breathe when I entered the ladies bathroom due to the massive overkill of some type of air freshener! We'll be back the next time we're in the area. I'll just have to make sure that I don't drink enough coffee so that I need to use the bathroom. read more
