love this cozy little hidden breakfast spot!! honestly so underrated and delicious, had a HUGE flapjack here. they ran out of chocolate milk and made me my own with regular milk and chocolate instead of telling me they don't have any, talk about excellent service! definitely check out for delicious breakfast without breaking the bank

It's rare to find a breakfast place that cooks bacon crispy. Not floppy. Pat's deserves all 5 stars just for the bacon. Crispy and so delicious. Service was amazing and the kitchen was fast. There isn't much to see in way of ambiance, but this busy breakfast restaurant is worth the wait. So glad we ate here. Omelets, egg sandwiches and pancakes. All very good.

As a Daytona native I've been coming to Pats for years. It use to be one of the locals best kept secrets but visitors have discovered this gem. No frills basic food, good breakfasts and lunch, they're only open from 7:00-2:00. Good service by employees who've been there just about as long as I e been eating there. I got the creamed chopped beef on home fries, hubby got a traditional eggs, grits, bacon, and toast breakfast. Don't miss the blueberry pancake, it might say the order is only one pancake but trust me, it's HUGE!

CASH ONLY I really liked this place and I would go back. It is definitely a small local "diner" vibe. Atmosphere: Small place with tables close together and lots of fun signs on wall. Very small open kitchen. They didn't have really butter only whipped spread. I had French fries with my bacon cheeses burger omelet which both were great.

There's always an unexpected guest or two!

My favorite place for breakfast when staying in Daytona Beach Shores!! Great little place celebrating 35 years!! Love the location right on the river; Love the staff that remains the same; Love the food!

One of our favorite out of the way places in Daytona The food is delicious and the help here is Devine. Very friendly and busy atmosphere. Cash only but we'll worth every Penny. Lots of funny cute signs hanging about. A little bit hard to find but treasures abound when you do. I love the seafood omelet Ask for Sherry and tell her Freddy sent you

Pats Riverfront Cafe is located behind the Marina and we had a little bit of a confusing time temporarily finding it, but eventually we did. The inside is decorated in a very Floridian diner/cafe type of way with a lot of funny signs inside and such. The waitress was very polite and attentive. My husband ordered a bacon and cheese omelette and stated it was exactly what it seems like it would be. Bacon, cheese, eggs. So that was good. I ordered a Rueben and it was terrible, unfortunately. It was primarily sauerkraut with 2 slices of corned beef and very soggy bread. The beef was tough and very chewy as well so I guess it was a bit of a blessing there was barely any of it there. A Rueben is a corned beef sandwich with sauerkraut, not a sauerkraut sandwich with maybe some corned beef. Absolutely not worth its price. The fries were fresh and very typical, so they're a safe item to order and enjoy, but I would definitely recommend not wasting your time or money or mood on the Rueben sandwich.

Another nice breakfast this morning at Pat's. Sat inside since it was very windy. Enjoyed the tuna steak, eggs and potatoes. The tuna steak was so large!! Great price for what I got. Love how the wait staff all work together and each one takes a roll in your experience. The birds hanging around outside were quite comfortable with the patrons coming and going.

The ambiance is not great because the place is old but the food was great. I had a Reuben and my wife had a mahi sandwich.

The inside of this place is super cute, and it feels every bit like a family owned restaurant, which I loved. We had a reservation, and we showed up about 5 minutes early, but then 2 other parties of 2 who arrived after us were seated before us even though one of them was a walk in. They were both seated at 4 tops, so I was thinking maybe that's why we didn't get those tables, but when we were finally seated we also got a 4-top. We waited about 20 minutes before I finally asked the host, and then they seated us at the next table that was bussed. Our table was a little tucked away around a corner where you couldn't see it from the entrance. Now, growing up as a person of color, I'm more inclined to notice when I'm the only person of color in a space than most white people I've met are. So, I noticed almost immediately that all the white people who arrived after us were sat before us in very visible tables and then I (the lone brown person) was sat around the corner away from the entry. Now, I don't know these people, so I have absolutely no reason to think that this was intentional, but I need them to realize how it might look. You have to be cognizant of things like that. Even if they just forgot to seat us and the hidden table happened to be the next available, it looked very bad. Now, the server who was assigned to us was awesome. We told her we were in town for Rockville and we all talked about music. She was super nice and attentive. For food, I got the catch of the day grilled with grits and mashed potatoes. When I ordered this, I don't think I imagined how unappetizing it would look. Nevertheless, the fish was well cooked, but I found myself wishing that the grits were a little cheesier, the potatoes were a little smoother, and the fish had a sauce. It was a very drab plate both visually and from a flavor perspective. My companion got the francaise with scallops. It was good, but not enough to fill him up (which we would've expected from the price). So would I go back here? Probably not. I think that this place is kind of overrated, possible because there aren't a lot of nicer options in Daytona. Again, our server was awesome, but the food didn't stand up to our expectations, and the initial experience with getting seated was disappointing at best.

I loved the entrance and the overall vibe--it definitely gave me Tulum vibes! Our server was great and gave us some recommendations based on his favorites from the menu. He also mentioned that they have rib specials on Tuesdays, which was definitely good to know for our next visit! Now let's get into the food because everything was SO good! Starter: Wings -- A little too crispy for my preference, but the flavor was delicious! Drinks: Espresso Martini with Tequila -- 20/10! Sassy Pants -- 20/10! Entrées: Hand-Cut Filet -- 20/10 8oz hand-cut filet mignon with green peppercorn cognac cream sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Hand-Cut Ribeye -- 20/10 16oz hand-cut prime ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes, French string beans, and compound butter. We added the 5 sautéed shrimp for $12, and it was SO worth it! Dessert: Key Lime Pie Custard Carrot Cake Overall, such a beautiful atmosphere, great service, delicious food, and amazing drinks. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!
