We went saturday afternoon, and surprisingly it was pretty dead. We sat on the rooftop balcony-- views and seating were great! The food was okay, drinks were okay. I wouldn't crave it and will probably not be back unless I am wanting the view. We got yuca fries and regular fries which were the highlight. The service was excellent from the hostess downstairs to Justine who greeted us and Hope, the bartender who took care of us at the upstairs bar. We had the Tiki Trio which was a great deal even with the $8.00 upgrade charge for a Boat Drink. The fried shrimp basket was really good and my husband enjoyed his Cuban sandwich. Surprisingly, I love Tiki Docks! I think it's because of the atmosphere and beautiful river views. They have a variety of seating.... upstairs, downstairs, inside, outside, at the bar, at a high top table, etc. The atmosphere is so laid back, yet attentive. We decided to try this place out while over at the beach for sunset. And it did not disappointed. From walking inside and wanting a table upstairs in patio it was easy and got sat very quickly. Lots of items on menu that look really good. Seeing some of the food come out to others it looked good as well. We both got one of the specialty drinks and they were really good and not overpowering. She got the grouper tacos and said they were really good. I did not get a taste of them lol. They are like street tacos with small shells. Greg in the bar on the second deck out worked the other bar servers 3-1 he was friendly and efficient we were here since 7 pm and just received our drinks at 8:30 Ashley was our server she was like the energizer bunny zipping around from table to table. The kitchen was way behind we received our dinners at 9:05 pm not Ashley's Fault. I ordered a side salad, which was missing the lettuce, there was hardly any. I requested to get a kids meal the cod fish fingers, and was told the manager said no, that their fish dinner was COD. I do not like beer batter, and the kids fish diner, looked like it was not in beer batter. After eating I asked why she didn't order anything. Was told that they do not have anything she could eat. We picked up the bill, which was around $52+. It was not very busy, and we could sit there a while with out being bothered. Wow! What a change for the better. We decided to give the place a second chance and we are glad we did. We were greeted by a very friendly staff, Amber. We sat upstairs and were served by Taylor and Hope both outstanding employees. Our Margarita was perfectly made and the food came out promptly. The pork quesadillas were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Good presentation. The lobster rolls were very tasty and the mojo pork was great. Kaylee and Trey the Chef came to our table and both were very friendly and knowledgeable. In particular Trey who is really concerned that every patron has a good experience. The bathrooms were clean, well supplied and well lit, and the stairs were freshly painted. All in all we had a great dinner.
