Greg in the bar on the second deck out worked the other bar servers 3-1 he was friendly and efficient we were here since 7 pm and just received our drinks at 8:30 Ashley was our server she was like the energizer bunny zipping around from table to table. I had a shrimp Basket my wife enjoyed a fried combo basket the shrimp and Scallops were good but whatever the other fried item was was not delicious. The service was excellent from the hostess downstairs to Justine who greeted us and Hope, the bartender who took care of us at the upstairs bar. We had the Tiki Trio which was a great deal even with the $8.00 upgrade charge for a Boat Drink. The fried shrimp basket was really good and my husband enjoyed his Cuban sandwich. We tried this place out for the first time. I got the local lobster rolls dnd my husband got a cheeseburger both came with fries. Our server was Elise she was super helpful & friendly. She made great suggestions on the menu for both food and drinks. The restaurant itself is beautiful with great views of the water and the bathroom was clean. Surprisingly, I love Tiki Docks! I think it's because of the atmosphere and beautiful river views. They have a variety of seating.... upstairs, downstairs, inside, outside, at the bar, at a high top table, etc. The atmosphere is so laid back, yet attentive. We decided to try this place out while over at the beach for sunset. And it did not disappointed. From walking inside and wanting a table upstairs in patio it was easy and got sat very quickly. Lots of items on menu that look really good. Seeing some of the food come out to others it looked good as well. We both got one of the specialty drinks and they were really good and not overpowering. She got the grouper tacos and said they were really good. I did not get a taste of them lol. They are like street tacos with small shells. Would like to start by saying our server Yasmin and her trainee were absolutely wonderful. They were very polite and took great care of us. As we arrived we were pointed upstairs to a host to be seated on the deck for outdoor seating. The host upstairs was incredibly rude and emotionless. We were put on a small waitlist which was fine, we ordered a drink at the bar while we waited. The bartender greeted us and immediately asked what we wanted to drink before we were fully seated. We told her not quite yet and asked for a cocktail menu, where she then stood and hovered over us as if we were an inconvenience to her and expected us to order within seconds. Once we were notified our table was ready we went back to the host where she very rudely walked us to our table and simply threw our menus on the table and walked away. The food was not worth the price we paid. The peel and eat shrimp was the only thing we enjoyed. The Lava Flow cocktail was delicious as well, but the only drink I would have again. We walked in and spoke to the host downstairs who sent us upstairs to the other host to be seated on the patio. This host was so rude and seemed annoyed when we asked to put our name in for a table for 2. She told us we could sit at the bar and we reiterated we wanted a table for dinner. Went over the food and drink menu in depth even though the restaurant was packed. My husband and I both ordered the Mai Tai $2.00 off for happy hour till 6:00 costing $8.00. They were delicious we ended up ordering two of them. We also ordered the Grouper Bites meal served with French Fries. The fries were cooked perfectly crunchy and hot.
