House wines for only $6 per glass, but we noticed a few couples purchasing bottles to save a few bucks. They are off to a good start! Just the Sampler was all fried (which we knew) and was served with no plastic cutlery and only one napkin for 2 people, no salt and pepper until requested. The cold cheese dip was good but could have been warmed and more plentiful. Maybe a salsa side would have worked too. Ranch, anyone? Everything was nicely cooked and served hot. The beef empanada was seasoned really nicely and the filling seemed to have peppers and onions. The chicken one seemed to be all breast meat as the filling. Better than all fillers, but some more seasoning would have been good. The yucca fries were nicely done and there were 3 types. And at first it was empty but that didn't make us feel awkward because the staff were attentive without being intimidating. They were very welcoming.
