We are so happy we chose to stay at the Streamline on our trip to Daytona! We decided to come to Daytona a week ago on a whim because we wanted to check out someplace different in our state. I found the reservation on Expedia, and it was very affordable. Went to their website and learned it is the hotel where NASCAR was created/rules laid out etc. Also, it is a very convenient location. And it has a rooftop bar so we thought it would be great to watch the fireworks from there (4th of July weekend.) There is a pool but we didn't use it. The beach is across the street. Check in was smooth, room is nice and clean, beds comfy. Another group (Beach Brothers) runs the food and bev and bars and they do an excellent job. All of the staff was super nice and helpful. Drinks are affordable and good and the food is also delicious and not outrageously priced. I would say it was the best food we had on our trip over here. The rooftop bar is really the place to be. It was absolutely clutch for the 4th. There was a nice breeze every night as well. Also, if you are cool they will tell you about the hidden bar, which has a different vibe and fancier drinks. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you come to Daytona. read more

Inside the hotel there is a cute restaurant named Victory Lane. It's the Nascar of restaurants. They have daily specials. We went for dinner. They have an amazing choice of liquor. It's a great place to go & get cocktails. I wasn't that impressed with the food. I ordered the pit stop nachos with brisket. It is a great idea, but the look of the cheese isn't appealing to the eyes. It had the visual of cottage cheese. It tasted good, but the visual turned me off. My friend had wings & jumbo is putting it lightly for the size of the wings. After we went to the rooftop. The views were amazing. The Streamline Hotel is a great place to stay at in Daytona Beach, Florida. Located in historic building, the lobby and rooms were modern and well appointed. The room was pretty quiet. Everything was extremely clean and the staff very helpful. A particular shout out to Luca (a student studying aviation mechanics), the front desk agent who was very kind to us throughout our stay. There is a lovely rooftop bar and a great coffee hut next door that offers a selection of beverages that are delicious. A key quality is its central location near the beach and Main Street-- everything was a short walk. We will definitely be staying here again if we return to Daytona Beach. read more

The hotel is a piece of history bring the birthplace of NASCAR. They have fun pics and history around the lobby and restaurant. The brocoli and onion strings were great but the steak was a little more rare than I fully expected. I do get rare steaks typically so it's what I ordered but the outside is usually a little less red however I did eat the whole steak. One issue is they need to update their menu as mine was suposse to come with onion strings on top of the steak, two sides (I only got one) and a salad which didn't come until I asked about it. They brought me a great salad but told me it wasn't suppose to come with the steak anymore and the menus need an update. So double check on what you're getting as sides before ordering. read more

This place is hands down the worst place I've ever stayed. The manager is a creep! He and his two maintenance guys were in the tiny elevator with me and the manager was facing me, just a foot away, staring at me. I felt so uncomfortable! Then the room, EW! The headboards had stuff all over it, the corner chair was disgusting with stains all over it and the overall room just felt filthy. The rooftop bar is a joke! NASCAR weekend, charging $500 a night vs the $129 typical price (i understand upping during big events but not for this trashy place), and all 7 heat lamps had no propane! Everyone was upset about that. The creepy manager sits in the teeny lobby instead of the closed off restaurant so he can eavesdrop on people's convos. A lady was there from an actual NASCAR team and she asked us how we liked the rooftop bar and we both looked at each other and gave the "meh" look and she said how they were supposed to be staying one more night but may look elsewhere. The manager interjected himself and very condescendingly said "we're happy to refund the next night for you, we will sell it in a heartbeat". She stayed the same complaints as us, dirty room, only one towel, and how the music was blaring until 2am. He just looked at her and repeated himself about refunding her. Pretty sure they aren't staying a second night. BE AWARE! read more

Patrick and Brianna gave amazing customer service! Drinks were very well made. They were both very kind and made genuine conversation. Hotel/bar area was clean and modern. If you are in the area, this place is well worth the visit. You don't have to be staying in the hotel to visit the rooftop bar. Show them some love! read more

I found this place by accident while visiting Daytona and I love this place. The staff is always friendly and attentive. They have a lot of different kinds of events like drag shows and comedy shows and they have a rooftop. Easy parking in their lot. Definitely recommend. read more

As I didn't stay the night at Streamline Hotel I can't comment on their rooms though I've heard nothing but good about them. What I can comment on is what a lovely updated place it has become with what are the best view that can be found in Daytona Beach. Forget the views pier and come to the roof top Sky Lounge of the Streamline. Not only has it the best views but also one of the best bars in Daytona. The drinks are good and the staff super friendly. It also provides plenty of comfortable seat and with the Streamline being located right on Atlantic Avenue, the best views of the streets below. The first floor area is also really nice with an ultramodern décor with another bar that is great for meeting with larger groups with entertainment sometimes being offered. I've known this building for over 30 years and whoever has and up until being remodeled in 2017 it was a mess. Amongst many other things it was formerly a youth hostel, then a place that housed mechanics in motorcycle training, etc. It was also rather creepy as being a well know area for drug dealers and prostitutes. Fortunately all that is gone and changed. The $6 million dollar plus renovation has brought this historic building in to a new and wonderful light. read more

What a terrible hotel. Booked a 2 bedroom suite. One room had a broken a/c, tv and broken phone you'd use to call down to front desk for assistance. How convenient for them. I had to go down to complain. Guy at desk tried to fix a/c but couldn't so room was unusable in a hot Florida hotel room for entire stay. Couldn't speak to any management because they are not available. The room stunk from mildew and mustiness. They handed me a can of Fabreeze. They tried to use an industrial strength deodorizer 2x but it didn't help. We lost power too. Again down the one elevator to the front desk guy because the phone doesn't work. The manager "Ashley" finally called me on my cell only because she read a bad review in wrote while I was still staying at the hotel. She was actually MAD at me. So much for their customer service. Fixed nothing. She said she'd issue me credit. She's such a LIAR. It's been 2 months and I haven't received a dollar back. I can't forget about the rooftop club that has a sketchy bouncer sitting in the tiny hotel lobby as we arrived back from the Daytona Race. We had to park down the street. The entire parking lot is filled with the rooftop party goers. They are much more important to them than the people actually paid to stay at the hotel. Greedy. I've never stayed at such a horrible hotel in my life. I would've left and stayed elsewhere but the hotels were full due to the Daytona Coke 400. READ THE BAD reviews. They seem similar. My first experience here will be my last. Staff were drinking with the waitresses and bartenders with no regard for the paying customers awaiting service. After waiting over an hour for 2 burgers I paid my bar tab and left. To add further insult the manager was sitting with another table with no concern for the lack of service occurring around him. The establishment was not full and there were plenty of staff, just none that wanted to do their job. If there were an option for zero stars I would have selected that. The long haired server did not have his hair pulled back and the manager was making crude remarks while toying with a tape measure. Disgusting and inexcusable. read more

This hotel made our trip. Although you're not on the beach, the short commute across two streets leads you to a path connecting straight to the beach. The rooms are on the smaller side, but considering it's clean, decently priced and unique it's a five star in my book. The history of NASCAR is fun to see at the hotel where the concept of a race track at Daytona and pulling races off the beach was founded. This hotel was just recently renovated and Viscomi construction did a great job. Walking in is like a throwback to a bygone age. Head up to the rooftop bar and enjoy the view. We really enjoyed our stay for the week. The staff is very friendly. Amanda, the GM was friendly and gave advise us on a few areas to hit while we were in town. The room we had was with 1 king bed and I believe kit to be a Ca king, due to the length. My husband is 6'4 and his feet didn't hang off and let's face it, that's a good thing. I would have preferred the room to have been bigger than it was and I had actually expected it to be. But, we did manage. Besides, how much are you really in your room anyway? We did have what mattered: a great AC, mini fridge and a coffee pot in the room. read more

I brought a client in town for NASCAR Race Week to it's Birth Place at the Rooftop Bar for Happy Hour + $10 Burger + a Beer Mondays. Our bartender Nathan, was amazing + gave us great service! Sadly, there were only 2 draft beers available, nor ANY hot food from the kitchen, including apps. (hence the missing Star)! If you wanted the Burger special, the only choice was to dine downstairs. To be fair, the STELLAR Rooftop views w/ ok beer are worth the trip (+ extra Star), if you plan it on a stop of your night crawl in the Main Street/Pier crawl. (Or eat/drink downstairs on a poor or hot weather day.) read more

We booked a hotel room here over a month ago. When we got to the hotel after traveling from Arizona (all day travel) we got there at 3:50pm. We were told that our room wasn't ready. Told to go to the beach or something while we wait. (Or to the bar upstairs) we went to the beach.. came back 45 minutes later. Office gal rolled her eyes at me and said that the room still isn't ready. (No apologies or anything even close) sat there until at 6:00 pm. Still no room. No apology. Cleaning lady came down and apologized.. but the room still wasn't ready. I cancelled the reservation.. went down the street to the Hilton. Also had to pay a $200 cancellation fee. I would NEVER Recommend this place. Doesn't even deserve the 1 star that I have to give. read more

Entire place was sparkling clean with great rooms and quiet enough to allow enjoying bike week without going sleepless. Staff was professional, courteous, genuine and friendly. I was very impressed from the moment I turned into the parking lot. The hotels exterior caught my eye in its pristine white condition. From the hotel lobby's sexy entrance through the captivating hallway corridors to my room, I was impressed. The attention to detail in this place is immaculate. I felt comfortable , safe, clean , and it smelled fresh. The beds are beyond comfortable , and the bathrooms were finished properly. Pevonia products in the bathroom for the slam dunk! Starting with the cons, we had a leak in our room the entire time. It went from a drip here and there to a full on constant line of water running down the wall by the third day. You could tell this was an issue in that room and had been for awhile based on how the rest of the ceiling and wall looked. Due to that our room smelled super musty and felt damp all the time. There is no ventilation in the bathroom. No food service even though it stated during booking that they had a bar and restaurant. No fridge or microwave in the rooms. It's loud at times so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Not a lot of parking available. Now for the pros, top notch customer service from the front desk staff. Check in in went smoothly. The bed was a super comfortable bed. I'm difficult to impress when it comes to sleeping situations in terms of the bed but I will even say that this bed was super comfortable. Everything seemed fairly clean. This place has a retro vibe that is super neat. It's right off A1A so you can still see the beach and it's easily within walking distance. read more

This is a cozy hotel with really awesome decor & pizazz, but it is 10000% a party hotel on weekends and I don't recommend for anyone with children, or people who are trying to sleep. The music from the bar plays until about 2am and is so loud that your room will be shaking no matter where you are in the hotel. If you're young and wanting to join the fun, then this hotel is THE. SPOT. Otherwise, you'll have an easier time sleeping at another hotel down the strip. (Again, week days seemed to be fine but Friday-Sunday was party central). The room was comfy, the only thing that was weird was that our room didn't have a refrigerator lol. But that's obviously a minor issue! Overall, I do recommend if you're looking for somewhere lively and unique, but not if you're counting on sleep at the end of the night lol. read more

Rooftop bar with DJ blasts all night. Booked a Friday and Saturday. Could hear loud rap music all night till after 1 am all the way in my room on the 3 rd floor. Called the desk and they wouldn't answer the phone. Next night the same thing. Asinine. Hotel is nicely remodeled and has a boutique vibe to it. Would have been great if I could have gotten some sleep. But totally unacceptable. Maybe it's quit on a weekday? But do not stay on a weekend and expect to get any sleep before 2am. read more

The lobby/bar area is very appealing and eye-catching right away as you walk in. And the nostalgia is so thick here you could cut it with a knife! It's the birthplace of Bill France's dream of Nascar and the vision of Daytona International Speedway. The Sky Lounge is so cool. Modern full service bar as you step off the elevator. And once you step outside onto the deck the views are awesome! Lots of comfy seating. You can even host a private event here, which would be amazing. Valet parking is also available. And the service was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. read more
