Thee Man VS. Food Burger
Dawn M.

Great staff and the burgers are on point. My son decided to try Thee Man Vs. Food burger. Insanity. I had the Tijuana Peso Girl Burger. Just the right amount of spice. Great beer selection too!

We really enjoy the Daytona taproom. The prices are affordable, the service is great and the food is delicious! They have such a wide range of beer! Take your pick!! Highly recommend the burger and fries!

Smash burger between grilled Cheese!

We came here based on a Man vs. Food show. When we entered we thought it looked really divey and kind of dirty. That's being said the server was super personable and was helpful With the menu. We all ordered smash burgers in different varieties. I ate a regular smash burger that was delicious and plenty. My husband and son had the smash burger between two grilled cheeses and Mac and cheese on the smash burger. These burgers are epic! The fries were good. I gave them 5 stars cause it was probably the best burger I have had in my life and the server was great. The atmosphere isn't great but they made up for It with food and service.

Awesome local joint!! Will for sure come back, our server was amazing (forgot her name, but she had colorful hair and was so good to us!) Food was delicious and definitely made fresh, not frozen! We went on karaoke night, it was so much fun!!! What a great vibe. All the servers would sing if no one else wanted to, seriously just fun and relaxing. If you're looking for a good eats and a chill vibe, here's your place!

Stopped by here to eat something since driving around in there looking for something easy. Saw it had burgers and a bunch of beers. Turns out they have some crazy mountain burgers and for pretty cheap. It's a lot of food. I had the PIG BURGER. I'm surprised I didn't shit my pants mid burger. Service was great, they were attentive but I also sat at the bar. The place is really divey and grungy with a stage and a lot of space so it is probably a good time and it's right off the beach so it's not too annoying. Worth the sanny. Also had the loaded jam with the meat and fries basket. All in one thing to get.

Our bartender was great! She helped us make the perfect selection. Tried some of the fries and they were very good!

So 5 stars for a dive bar! More then 50 beers on tap, great service, great food. Menu is mostly burgers but my husband is picky and loves these. They did a grilled chicken sandwich for me and it hit the spot. For me the winner is the hand cut delicious french fries if you're looking for good beer and bar food this is your spot!

Came in on a supper bowl Sunday. Was not packed. A true no frills dive bar. Ordered the big Richard, as seen in Man VS Food, it was huge and plenty for 2. One of the most unhealthy food, BUT it was good.. the double patty, grilled cheese, and mac and cheese all combined complemented well. Very tasty and satisfying. The fries was a different story. It was saggy and did not taste like fries. Place is a true casual dive bar. A " Bar rescue" episode will be a good idea.

Sunday night dinner and drinks...the place was hot, the food was overly salty and the service was, well, read on and determine for yourself. Octavia, one of our servers, came over to take our order. Because it was so hot in this joint, Octavia was stripped down to her black bra as part of this evenings wardrobe and entertainment. We placed our orders and asked for a North Coast Old Rasputin and a sample of the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter (samples are encouraged on the blackboard with the long list of brews).  Octavia looked over at the wall of taps and said they were "out of Breckenridge" but would bring the NCOR and place our orders. As we waited, another server, Ambrose, walked by and asked if we needed anything.  He let us know they had plenty of the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter on tap and would bring us a sample and check on our food. Later, Ambrose came by with an order of fried pickles asking each table if they had placed this order. After he left the fried Pickles with the customers at the table behind us, a customer at a table further back called out that they ordered the fried Pickles. When Ambrose went to take the fried Pickles back from the table he dropped them off at the customer in the back yelled out that he didn't want those fried Pickles that were left on the other table (understandable). In the interim, a group of 3 guys and a girl came in and took over the first booth by the door...and all of Octavia's attention. Ambrose essentially assumed control of all of the other booths along the wall so Octavia could take care of the one booth up front and continue chatting with the dudes that were smoking out in front of the restaurant. After ordering a Breckenridge during dinner and waiting and waiting,  Ambrose finally brought the beer to the table, dropped it off and said it was on the house due to the delay.  Nice gesture.  Ambrose was personable,  friendly and interactive throughout our visit with all the customers. Now, back to Octavia the bra wearing,  disinterested,  highly unprofessional and totally lacking in any form of customer service skills "waitress".  Bear in mind, Ambrose and Octavia were working as a team but on this team Ambrose was doing all the work and Octavia was....we'll, we're not sure exactly what Octavia was supposed to be doing.  Maybe Octavia is in training,  if so, hopefully some of Ambrose's people skills and work ethics will find their way into her new career. After dinner, Octavia brought us our check.  Finally, once we were able to get Octavia's attention again, while she was hanging out behind the bar, to come back to ring out our order...we could audibly hear Octavia tell Ambrose "they're not my table" (so much for teamwork). After an embarrassing back and forth with Octavia and after we paid the bill, she screamed out for us to never come back and get out of "her restaurant".  When we let her know how unprofessional she was acting  she said if you want to talk to the owner to call 407-862-9859.   So, we did and unbelievably, the number Octavia gave us was out of service. When we let Octavia know the owners phone number she gave us was out of order,  she threw us out of the restaurant and told us to never come back or she'd call the cops.  Really??? Yes, really!!! #420 and Peace Out

Basically a hamburger but on fries!!!!!! This very well may be the best loaded fries I've ever had. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

I was a bit early for my pickup, and while I waited I was even offered a water. It smells so incredible in here that I was already so excited for my meal. I ordered the Polish plate, because it's my first experience trying Polish cuisine. I wanted an opportunity to try many different dishes, and this plate included Golabki, Potato & Cheese Pierogis, Potato Pancakes, and one Polish Sausage. A friend of mine raved about his mother's golabki for years, so naturally I started my meal with that. Wow, it was incredible! It almost reminded me of a spaghetti dish with its vivid tomato flavor. I really love that the roll holds together well when you're eating it with a knife and fork. I'm going to ask my friend for a recipe because it seems like it would be a good go to meal. I think my next favorite item was the polish sausage. I do enjoy eating sausages, but sometimes I'm just not a fan of how some are seasoned. That wasn't a problem with this polish sausage, because it was delicious and flavored just to my liking. Now pierogis I have tried before, and I'm not sure if they are polish origin or a neighboring country, but I have always enjoyed them. These cheese and potato pierogis were exactly as I expected them. They were cooked well and stuffed with filling. I shared a few with my nephew who is a bit picky, and to our surprise he was enjoying them. I would definitely give another flavor option a try! The final item was the potato pancakes and I think they were cooked well, but I think I would have preferred a little more salt to bring out the flavor. I plan to research Polish food after this visit and see how each dish is usually eaten. There were 3 condiments that accompanied my meal, but I didn't use them. For the most part, each dish was delicious all on its own. The Polish plate is definitely enough to share between 2 people, and you'd probably have just enough room for dessert as well. I know the pistachio cheesecake will definitely see me, if I find myself in the Daytona beach area again! Thank you Dill Schnitzel & Pierogi House for an amazing first experience with Polish cuisine!

What a fun find! I was in town for a career fair and my friend said I should check this place out…read more It's in a bit of a weird spot in a mostly chain restaurant shopping area, but don't let that fool you! It was literally steps to the beach so that was nice to stroll out there before/after. After poking around some shops, I made my way upstairs to Dill! The place is cute and colorful! Loved the European decor! I was there on a Tuesday night and there were only 2 other tables sat so pretty dead at the time. Server was lovely, cheerful, and helpful! They don't have a full bar but do serve beer and wine so was able to get a glass of vino. I really wanted schnitzel and pierogies but unfortunately you can only get the pierogies by the dozen (unless you get the big combo meal which comes with 6 rogis and a shit ton of other food). Problem was, I had a 6am flight the next morning so no way I would be able to eat any leftovers. I asked if there was ANY way I could just get like 2 rogis and she unfortunately said no (I totally get it, but maybe add smaller options in the future!). So I went with a cup of borscht soup and the pork schnitzel. The soup was served hot (I've only ever had it cold) and was very good! The schnitzel was legit the biggest schnitzel I've ever seen in my life and it's a GOOD THING I didn't get rogis in addition to it lol. I immediately cut it in half and was only able to eat that much. I got the mushroom sauce too and that was so yummy with the schnitzel! The potatoes and slaw were very good too, loved how refreshing the slaw was!! You would never think to look for this kind of food in Daytona of all places, but it's definitely worth a stop! If I had anyone dining with me, I could see getting a few dishes to split because of how large the schnitzel was. Wonderful place with great service and delicious food, just wish I was able to try those rogis!
