Plenty of parking. Great atmosphere. Food has great flavors! Jazz band was awesome! Service requires patience. But we liked the food and music so much we will be back and bring friends!

Lamb Gyro

I had some appointments beachside and I stopped in here for an early dinner/late lunch on my way back so there weren't a lot of customers because of the time. The inside is decorated beautifully and there was a band setting up for live music. My Gyro was full of lamb, toppings, and tzatziki on fresh hot pita bread. The feta fries were crispy and even better when I dipped them in a side of tzatziki. Looking forward to trying their fried pickles when I go back- I have heard they're amazing!

The staff was attentive and friendly, the band was smoking, crowd was dancing, and the food was worth the wait with a packed house. Vibe was very cool, I'd come back EVERY time in Daytona, can't wait!

Food is all delicious The atmosphere is the best and the staff is perfect. Soul Fire is a great band and we all dance. Great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. Meet up with friends for an amazing evening

This was the second attempt at fries. Very disgusting.

Dee W. You have me mixed up with someone else, we have never been there. I didn't ask for a discount, or anything else. I didn't make a fuss at all, I even left a 30% tip to the server. The wait staff was exemplary, and I understood that they had nothing to do with it. I think that you would be much better served, to look at what you are serving.

This place is amazing. First, the food was so delicious. I had the chicken and pork skewers with rice & tzatziki, the spinach pie and oh so good feta fries, husband had the burger, all so good. The atmosphere was great, decor beautiful, the music, band and playlist was great. The service was top notch, friendly and inviting place. All variety of people, even furbabies. They also have a rooftop bar that has an awesome view of the ocean. Definitely worth the trip. Will be back soon from Georgia.

The best place in town so good such a good vibe good prices and good people!! I think anyone so pay them a visit well worth it!

Everyone just seems so happy here so you can tell that it really enjoy their jobs which makes a huge difference. We started off with the coconut shrimp and had like this coconut mayo dipping sauce was different, but it was really good, but I felt like it needed like a sweet-and-sour sauce then I had the mahi tacos with just the rice no black beans definitely still as good as the last time I tried it my boyfriend got the buffalo chicken pizza gluten-free and he ate the entire thing so that just tells you right off the bat that it was good and to finish off our dinners we ended with Keylime pie. It wasn't the best it was OK. I don't think I would have it again, though the ambience, excellent this place is adorable. It's like a diamond in the rough. No one really knows it's here but anytime ever and someone says they're going to Daytona. I always recommend this place. Go here! You will never be disappointed trust me!

Having been to the grind over the years, we have certain expectations as to the quality of food and…read moreservice. I want to preface this by saying we went on a very cold day and ate indoors..the pizza was outstanding and the waiter was friendly and engaging..in other words, typical for our experiences there. Prior to this, we even brought friends who hadn't been there before and loved it...now, to our recent experience: We were seated and the waitress seemed as though she wasn't very familiar with the menu and had to check on our requests, each check took a disturbingly long time. When we brought our friends, my gal ordered a hamburger and I asked the waitress if she could have the wagyu, rather than the angus burger, she readily said yes and my gal marveled over the burger...fast forward to the last experience, the waitress said she'd have to order the wagyu as posted and it "wasn't available" as a stand alone order. So my gal settled for the angus burger and again, the wait was a bit long and as we were considering to leave, the waitress showed up, gave us our food and left. the onion rings were cold...literally...they had been out so long that they weren't even warm (our prior experiences the onion rings arrived hot and delicious). Again we waited for our waitress to return and my gal had to ask another waitress if she could get us some hot onion rings. That waitress noted the cold onion rings and brought them back to the kitchen to prove we weren't being unreasonable, which was a greatly appreciated gesture on her part. Very promptly, the "other" waitress brought our onion rings, apologizing profusely...we thanked her and when my gal started into her Caesar salad, it was inedible....soggy, nearly tasteless and resembling a hot spinach salad with soggy lettuce than a crisp Caesar salad....the upside, the second batch of onion rings were up to their usual excellent standard, the burger was good, but not the intensity of flavor their wagyu burger had. If we hadn't been semi-regulars, it is a near certainty we wouldn't go back, but we aren't going to let a single experience unravel years of good experiences.

Very casual environment. I love the photo area and industrial feel. They offer a wide selection of beers and cocktails. There's a BBQ roaster they collaborate with, so be sure to get the barbecue. There were a lot of items on the menu I'd like to try next time. My friend and I shared the loaded tater tots and BBQ flatbread. Both were Delicious! There's a small parking lot. It's a nice place for meeting locals and lowkey lunch with friends or date.

Atmosphere is great - outdoor - seating, with stages for music, and a fire pit; indoor - TVs, lots of games, and friendly efficient bar service. Great selection of beers for hubs - his favorite is The Dude (a White Russian milk stout) - I don't drink beer but had a sip and kinda liked it! I loved that they had lots of beverage choices for non-beer drinkers too - I enjoyed a raspberry seltzer and a glass of Cabernet (which was quite good!). The food on the menu looks good (they even won the 2025 Ormond burger competition!) but we enjoyed the smoked brisket and chicken platters from "Cookin Wid Kunchi" - soooo good and the mac n cheese was SMOKED ). We look forward to returning!

As many of you locals know, these events can last anywhere from four days to almost two weeks which allows multiple opportunities to visit annually, hang out with friends, see all the great shows and have some awesome food and drink. If you have never been to the Full Moon during a motorcycle event you should definitely give it a try. All the concerts are free, the beer is relatively cheap and the girls are beautiful! If you only have a chance to see one band while your here, mark your calendar for Rockit Fly, they pull the biggest crowd and it is always a blast. Rockit Fly is a local favorite and all of the members are personable and easy to talk to. Twisted tea is $3, Bud and Bud light is $4, Yuengling is $5. There are multiple food vendors on site providing items like: large turkey legs, sausage and peppers, chicken on a stick, funnel cakes, french fries, loaded fries, loaded nachos, corn dogs, large pork chops, Philly cheesesteaks, brisket, ribs and much more. Note: it can get loud in here so bring earplugs as a precaution. There are times when I have no problems at all but if I've been listening to bands all day it's nice to know that I have them if I need them. Additional Note: There is minimal seating at the Full Moon but there are bar ledges on the perimeter of the entrance off Main street where you can lean, take a partial load off and watch the bikes go by. The main stage is outdoors with tons of room for large groups. There is also an indoor bar in the back (by the food vendors) with another stage where secondary shows/contests take place in the air conditioning.

Unfortunately, during the pool tournaments here on Tuesday and Friday nights, this place hosts a…read morecabal of witches who run the tournaments. So I'm a local here in Ormond by the Sea. I belong to a group of about 600 journalists across the country who participate in a blog about their experiences. Here is the recent post I sent my journalist friends about my experience at Frank's, and then Hanky Panky's, and the responses I got from fellow journalists: DANA WILKIE writes: How to Get Kicked Out of a Pool Hall So, for years I've been shooting pool recreationally. Typically, that required having a pool table in my home, which I sometimes did, or frequenting pool halls and bars to seek challengers. Recently, I began playing in tournaments at our local hall and, boy, is that learning curve steep. APA rules are different from bar rules, and so I've learned new terms like "ball in hand" and "in the kitchen." I've acquired new accoutrements, like a break stick, a shooting glove, and a pool tip shaper. These are high competitors, these pool tournament folks, and they don't suffer amateurs patiently. Compared to them, I'm a rank amateur. I was schooled about A) not chalking up the table too much; and B) not hovering too close to the table to view my opponent's shots; and C) how to improve my piss-poor, anemic breaks. So it was that I frequented another local bar here in Ormond Beach, Florida, by the name of "Frank's." There, beyond the view of these tournament sharks, I practiced on my own - perfecting angles and bank shots, learning about "walking the dog" (pool slang for rolling a ball against the rail all the way down to a corner pocket) and trying not to chalk up the table. This went well for some time, until I ran afoul of Frank's bartendress, who apparently took an instant disliking to me. Surly and rude - to several patrons, I've heard - she chided me for leaving my debit card behind, for playing music on my iPhone that "nobody wants to hear" and for - you know - chalking up the table (even though Frank's provides abundant chalk for just this purpose). So apparently, according to patrons, I further irritate said bartendress - she is inaptly named "Charity" -- by talking too much with her boyfriend and shooting against him. So, things started to get ugly. Charity's boss, the two of them friends, marches up to me one evening after I walk in, and declares that I was spotted lifting someone's purse the night before. First, the purse in question belonged to a friend and fellow shooter who asked me to move it from one chair to a chair closer to her. Second, while I'm hardly made of money, I'm not yet at the point where I need to pilfer purses. I try to object, but then realize that this owner, her name is Annette, has it out for me. So, I return to Frank's and try not to chalk up, keep my iPhone on silent, retrieve my debit card dutifully, and avoid said bartendress's sometime boyfriend. Only to be confronted one more by "Annette," who claims that there have been "too many complaints" about me and then announces she's banning me from "Frank's." Now I fully recognize that an establishment's owner has the freedom to refuse service to anyone, for any reason. I'm also aware that what went down here was about jealousy, pettiness, and retribution. Regardless, there are other local halls - including the tournament hall where shooters are tough -- but friendly and helpful. In any event, I sort of consider this a badge of honor. I've been kicked out of a pool hall! Wait 'till my future grandchildren hear about it. Meanwhile, the rumors of my apparent transgressions drifted down a few blocks to the new pool hall I began frequenting -- entitled "Hanky Panky's." Before long, the owner there, a man by the name of Mike, had it out for me. So did the woman running the tournaments there, who quickly found reason to kick me out of said tournaments after I beat her a few times. Eventually, owner Mike --a thoroughly messed up and apparently coked or methed up guy -- kicked me out as well.
