What a fun bar!!! This is a local super dive bar in my opinion. Must be like 10 bars scattered around the place with plenty of food to offer. Winding two story, walk-way through bars, above the crowds and motorcycle parking, reminds me of an adult jungle gym lol. Was told they only do the steak tips during bike week. They are super delicious and those mushrooms bathed in butter never hit so good! This is the spot to go if you want to chill and people watch. Can't beat the drink prices either. Got a beer and double shot for a total of $10....I said excuse me?! lol so cheap compared to where I'm from. Oh! Cash only! They have an ATM in the souvenir shop, but save yourself the trouble and just have cash ready!

Cool place to watch concerts and just hang out and enjoy the music and weather. Good food and drinks.

Yesterday I made the pilgrimage to Daytona Beach for the 25th Annual Biketoberfest. This is a colorful festival w/ bikers from all over the world visiting w/ an eclectic array of motorcycles. This is a serious biker bar. It is vast & is a fun scene. Live music. Vendors. People. More people. Enjoyed a lemonade w/o sugar so a sour lemonade. There are many biker bars that get packed during Biketoberfest & Bike Week. This is one of them & a classic stop.

This bar was very busy during bike week, but the establishment was massive so we had no issues bumping into other people.

The restaurant has local charm. Not very very expensive but it is nicely decorated and very friendly. We got crispy calamari, mahi fish sandwiches, shrimp po boy sandwiches and coke and unsweetened tea. The food came up fairly quickly. The calamari is very good, esp with the sauces and lemon juices! My fish sandwiches were perfect and very yummy with the tartar sauce. It also came with fries, hush puppies, slaw. Shrimp po boy sandwiches is also amazing. Overall this was a very nice dinner with quality food and services!

My husband and I started with the buffalo shrimp, which is a go-to order for us at seafood spots. The buffalo flavor was good, but the sauce was very oily, and several shrimp still had bits of shell attached beyond the tails, so I ended up picking shell out of my mouth while eating. For my entrée, I ordered the snow crab and shrimp platter and asked for it to be cooked without butter but keep the old bay. The plate arrived with no discernible seasoning at all, and the seafood, potatoes, and corn tasted like they'd been boiled in plain water. When I asked about it, the server explained that they don't steam crab or shrimp in Old Bay, despite agreeing to that when I ordered, and that the platters rely on butter for flavor, which was disappointing for a $40-$50 dish. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because my mother did enjoy her lobster platter. That said, her lobster was absolutely swimming in butter and Old Bay--not lightly drizzled as the menu implies--and it felt like butter was the main source of flavor rather than an enhancement. The server even mentioned how much butter the restaurant goes through in a day, which reinforced that this is their primary approach to seasoning. I enjoy seasoning and lots of flavor, and I prefer seafood that's cooked so the spices and the delicious taste of the shellfish stand out, not preparations that rely on heavy butter, so this restaurant ultimately wasn't a good fit for my preferences.

I chose to sit outside (something I normally don't do) since it wasn't very humid. River Grille offers a diverse menu that mixes a bit of Cajun influence with southern cooking. I placed an order for the Bayou Hurricane, some gator bites, and Citrus Bourbon Salmon served with my choice of two sides (red beans & rice and garlic mashed potatoes). As I was enjoying my refreshing cocktail, the server brought out the gator bites. It was my first time trying them, and they were actually the best thing I've ever tasted. The Cajun remoulade complemented the texture of the alligator, which was fried perfectly and wasn't chewy. The deliciousness continued with the salmon. It was grilled nicely and topped with a tasty sweet citrus bourbon bbq sauce and onion strings. The red beans & rice was cooked to a soft consistency and the mashed potatoes was creamy and flavorful. I would describe my outdoor dining experience as pleasurable --that is, until a squirrel appeared and started going around the tables as if it were a regular patron. It was all smiles until the squirrel climbed up the chair, propped itself on the table, and looked straight at me as if to say, "Hey, you gonna eat the rest of that salmon?" I knew it meant me no harm, so I didn't freak out; however, I wasn't sharing my delicious salmon with it. I slowly grabbed my cocktail with one hand and the plate with the remains of salmon with the other hand as the squirrel scurried toward me. Luckily, two servers saw my predicament and came to shoo the squirrel away. Well, that killed my appetite. I asked for a container for the leftovers and ordered dessert to go. Don't get it twisted, I'm not deterred from coming back, it will just be indoors next time.

Not many people out n about so I couldn't really get a vibe for what the place would be like when it gets busy. But it was a great spot for breakfast and we sat on the rooftop area inside so it was covered from the rain, but I can't wait to go back someday for the outside ocean front deck, even closer to the water. I ordered the Irish Benedicte with hash that is homemade on premise with slow roasted corned beef. Very tasty. The side of Home fries were thinly sliced and I had gravy added to that so it was tasty too. Our server was excellent, Trevor was a very nice guy and he recommended we come back for the all you can eat ribs. I wish I was staying in town longer and I would. I'll make a point to come back next visit.
