It was my birthday and I told my husband I wanted to try Caribbean Jacks. Best decision!! We were seated outdoors right next to the water, best seats out of all of them. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took our drink order which was the Kick-Ass Margaritas in the souvenir tumblers. After serving us our drinks she took our food order which was I ordered the fried fish basket with fries and pickles. My husband ordered the fried fish and shrimp basket with fries and pickles. The fish was delicious, lightly battered and very moist, the fries were seasoned perfectly and just as good. The shrimp was also lightly battered, plump, juicy and fried perfectly. The atmosphere was perfect, large outdoor dining spaces as well as inside. Views absolutely beautiful plus live music! We will definitely be returning. Great service, food, drinks and atmosphere.

Went for Happy Hour. Sat Outside Bar which is beautiful on the Halifax River. Water makes it calm. Bartender was friendly welcoming & attentive, especially for having a full bar w/ no seats & solo. I tried $10 appetizers happy hour specials. Ordered the Seared Tuna & Calamari. Delicious fresh & refreshing light but filling.

This is a cute restaurant located at a marina, that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We went for lunch and were seated immediately. The food came out quickly as well! Service was good and the waiter did a great job taking care of us. I ordered the jerk chicken sandwich with a side salad. The salad was very fresh and yummy! The chicken sandwich was really yummy too, and the chicken was pretty juicy! I have mixed feelings about the large piece of chicken on the smaller bun, but that wasn't really a big deal. The only thing I really didn't like was how expensive everything is. I avoided getting most of the items on the menu because they were at least $20. I'm sure the food is all quite tasty, but it seemed pricey to me.

Joey made my time an absolute delight! Excellent recommendations, a wonderful attitude, and really took care of me--especially in navigating the menu, which has so many unique dishes and options. I normally say "give me the works!" But I had a few specifications for my meal and Joey was so kind to tell me how to modify my meal to meet my dietary needs. He was not impatient with me but took the time to explain the different options and ensured that I had plenty of time to look over the menu and all my options and recommendations. I ended up with the scallop and shrimp with cavatappi pasta, which was delicious! The shrimp and scallops had a great texture to them, and the pasta and vegetables were a great match. I added the gator bites and they had some spicy seasoning and sauce that really hit the spot! The texture and flavor was really interesting and I enjoyed it tremendously! It paired extremely well with the different components. Finally, the bananas foster was absolutely, as Joey put it: "out of this world"! For one person, even as dedicated as I was, I couldn't quite finish the ice cream but I loved the depth of the hot syrup on the sides, the bananas, and the puff pastry worked together so well! I think 3-4 people would be just right for this dish . To Caribbean Jack's and to Joey in particular, thank you for making my visit memorable and next time I'm in town, I'll be sure to stop by again!

I NEVER am disappointed with Caribbean Jacks. Still one of my favorite spots in Daytona. Michael the bartender and our server was awesome. He was prompt and knowledgeable with the menu and even got us hooked on boom boom sauce with gator bites. Yep we started off with them and then split a jerk chicken sandwich. The whole vibe was a thing and I mean that by being a positive thing. Go here and tell them I sent ya. They don't know me personally but they'll be happy you came.

Great seafood restaurant in north Daytona Beach. wonderful selection of fresh seafood in a fun and festive setting on a marina. All of our generously portioned food was delicious and cooked perfectly. My wife had the salmon dinner served with dirty rice and perfectly cooked vegetables. I had the grouper sandwich with a generous portion of fishe served on a bun with again, perfectly cooked mixed vegetables. For dessert we had one of the best key lime pies I've had and gigantic split chocolate brownie with four scoops of vanilla ice cream in between the layers with whipped cream cream chocolate drizzled on top of the dessert and on the plate--needless to say it was out of this world and could easily serve 4 people! The service was warm, inviting and professional. This is the place that we go whenever we're in Daytona and we'll definitely be back.

So thankful we decided to come here on a Tuesday! Amazing Happy Hour Deals!!! We got so many wonderful happy hour deal for just $10! Including wonderful drink specials!!! Got a delicious margarita for $7! I also have to give some huge applause at the peel and eat shrimp appetizer! Nothing makes me happier than when the shrimp is already deveined. Every app was amazing: chicken nachos, seared tuna, soft pretzels! The icing on the cake was our server Michelle, she was so sweet and caring! It was like being served by family! Would definitely ask for her again! You can't beat the view, vibes, breezy riverside location and cocktails!

I had seen this restaurant from the bridge on prior drives through Daytona Beach and decided to give it a try today for lunch. The outdoor space is great with wonderful views of the water. The menu offers about a dozen appetizers, four salads, burgers and sandwiches, tacos, and entrees. I chose the coconut crunchy shrimp salad. It came with six delicious coconut shrimp. The description on the menu also mentioned mixed greens topped with mango pineapple salsa, toasted coconut and house made croutons. However, there were no croutons on my salad. It was mainly mixed greens. Upon a return visit I would probably try something else.

Great spot to catch a sunset--the views alone make it worth the visit. The food was solid and enjoyable, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, a nice place to relax, take in the scenery, and have a good meal.

Out back on the deck. Very nice but a bit windy and chilly that day. We ate inside

Again driven by Caribbean Jack's quite a few times. Right on the water by a marina. Finally decided. Decided on Sunday morning start with a bloody mary for me and mimosa for candyce. Really good selection on the menu for seafood and landlubers. I had the mahi BLT and candyce had bacon cheese burger. Both of us tried the rice for sides. Place is really nice with seating inside by water with a great view of river Place is definitely a good place to catch for dinner or lunch.

Maybe we went in an off day, but the service was slow and the restaurant was not full. The food was sub par and fish was very dry.

Can someone give me the price of one of the dishes?

Not sure if there is a specific dish you are referring too but appetizers range from $10-16 And entrees can be $12-25 in price depending on what you order. Hope this helps.

    How is the parking?

The parking lot is large just outside of the restaurant but it gets full. There is overflow parking across the street.

    Is the patio dog friendly?

    No.

Is this restaurant kid friendly? It looks like our kind of vibe but we will have our kids (9 and 12) and want to make sure the fun is kid friendly. Thanks!

    Yes!

If these great food? Fully cooked?

It is awesome and they will cook it too your liking.

    Is there parking?

Yes , some right in front and plenty more across the street.

When is happy hour during the weekdays? Are chicken wings always half off during happy hour?

Happy Hour is 4-7pm and 10pm until close. Drink specials are good in entire restaurant, 1/2 off appetizers good only in cocktail and at the bar.

I felt it was difficult (within walking distance from the Hilton) to find nicer bars where you could lounge, enjoy the ambiance, and also have a nicer selection of wine and spirits. So I'm glad I (literally) didn't have to walk anywhere to enjoy exactly that. This is what made my experience at McCoy's Rum Room great: - I love the decor. The plush couches. The finishes and thoughtful touches they added (like the lighting and curtains). The space comes together nicely, is airy and spacious, welcoming and posh. - I liked (not loved) the drink list. The wine selection for red was on point, bubbly was a little low class, but the cocktail list seemed fun and I enjoyed a Raspberry Collins - Which the bartender was happy to accommodate my additional asks (less sugar, extra lime) and in general, he was SO friendly, attentive and nice. - They have a short but GOOD bar food menu that included bigger items (like burgers) and a nice selection of light bites (I had the hummus plate, which was really nice, and also quite inexpensive ($8) and LARGE). Good thing I was drunk and hungry. I really enjoyed this bar. I recommend it and when I come back to Daytona and stay at the Hilton, I'll definitely be back! As many of you locals know, these events can last anywhere from four days to almost two weeks which allows multiple opportunities to visit annually, hang out with friends, see all the great shows and have some awesome food and drink. If you have never been to the Full Moon during a motorcycle event you should definitely give it a try. All the concerts are free, the beer is relatively cheap and the girls are beautiful! If you only have a chance to see one band while your here, mark your calendar for Rockit Fly, they pull the biggest crowd and it is always a blast. Rockit Fly is a local favorite and all of the members are personable and easy to talk to. Twisted tea is $3, Bud and Bud light is $4, Yuengling is $5. There are multiple food vendors on site providing items like: large turkey legs, sausage and peppers, chicken on a stick, funnel cakes, french fries, loaded fries, loaded nachos, corn dogs, large pork chops, Philly cheesesteaks, brisket, ribs and much more. Note: it can get loud in here so bring earplugs as a precaution. There are times when I have no problems at all but if I've been listening to bands all day it's nice to know that I have them if I need them. Additional Note: There is minimal seating at the Full Moon but there are bar ledges on the perimeter of the entrance off Main street where you can lean, take a partial load off and watch the bikes go by. The main stage is outdoors with tons of room for large groups. There is also an indoor bar in the back (by the food vendors) with another stage where secondary shows/contests take place in the air conditioning.
