We had a fish dip & special wrap. Very good & great customer service. I hope you love bird friends very close while eating because they have TONS of them & they're a little overwhelming. No air flow but they have fans running Nice for boat riders a quick bite

Been here a few times before and the service was great, so was the food. On this occasion the service was pretty good, but the food was just meh. Ordered a dozen oysters, they were decent, but there were some real small ones in the batch. Had a scallops salad, it was okay, but there were only about 5 or 6 small scallops. Also ordered fish and shrimp. Nothing on the fish and shrimp was seasoned, not even the fries. Ended up eating the shrimp, some of the fish and three the rest away. Didn't think the meal was worth what we paid. This will probably be my last visit here. Makes me sad, because I really love sitting on the deck and looking out over the water.

Very solid, basic seafood place with good prices and seemingly large portions. We went for a lunch. Had a huge fish sandwich with plenty of fries. Had it in, life had clam chowder and fish bites, both of which she liked a lot. On Wednesday, at least this Wednesday, they had Landshark beer for two dollars a glass, can't beat that. It has a real old school vibe. It's mostly outside or open air with lots of fans going. You order when you walk in, then sit down and the food is brought to you. Makes it a little weird, knowing how to tip in advance, but so be it.

Our Deck Down Under won our decision on where to Eat good seafood at a waterside Cafe! I'm gonna start by saying ....you have to basically wait on yourself. You grab a menu...stand in line to order...find a table..carry your drinks over..then they bring your food order! You are paying very expensive prices to basically wait on yourself. The view is amazing! But for $80, I would expect better table service. The food was good, nothing spectacular that I have to go back after. I had the Blackened Maui Maui Sandwich for $15.50 and to pay $4 extra for Hairy French Fries and hush puppies. The Hush Puppies were good, but there was hair in my fries! The kids got Grilled Cheese and fries & Pups and found hair in their fries too! Kayla got a Philly steak with fries & pups minus the hair! How did she get so lucky?? The iced tea was amazing! I would not go again. Too many other seafood restaurants to get my money!

Great ambiance here next to the water. They had a great special if we paid cash a free 1/2 pound of shrimp. Service is excellent they say they work as a team. I wish other restaurants work like this. The blackened Mahi was fresh and good. The fries came out hot. The clam chowder was okay. It was a solid 4 star visit with superb service. We will be back because this place had great value. Due to fresh food, service and cost of meal.

Love that the bar is full service. Avoid the wait and the crowd. Today is a gorgeous sunny day. Too nice to stay indoors so we decided to have a drink, lunch and enjoy the view. I had the fried shrimp dinner and my honey had the fish and shrimp dinner. Both were cooked to perfection - fries crispy and the cole slaw crunchy and sweet. The view can't be beat, boats going under the bridge and birds diving for fish and fries Service is great. Highly recommend tourists stand in line and leave the bar to locals LOL

I used to live in Port Orange and this was always a go-to spot for the family and for us to take visitors to. Now that we are visitors to the area when on vacation, it's a classic spot for us to grab some fresh fish and peel and eat shrimp. We love the kind staff and the quick service. The location - on the water with views of sunsets and dolphins adds an extra element that we love.

Let me start by saying this is not on the staff our waiter and all the staff were very nice but boy oh boy the food was bland. How does shrimp have no taste!!!! This is crazy anyways the ribs were horrible it felt like A1 sauce was the glaze. The shrimp batter was nasty. Margarita was sour as hell and the only thing edible was the grouper strips boy save yourself the time and money. I think the chef was having a bad day.

Great place to have dinner on the waterfront. It was a nice day and we sat outside. We had the jalapeño poppers and pickle spears and they were good. I had the surf and turf which was a half rack of ribs and fried shrimp. The shrimp are large and butterflied nicely. The ribs had really good flavor. Our server did a nice job and we had no complaints. This is a local favorite that has been around for a while according to people we talked to who recommended.

This pains me to write because I have been visiting Our Deck Down Under for 24 years. It's a very sentimental spot for my family. We were quite disappointed during our last trip. The food quality has gone down hill. The seafood is super fresh, it's the preparation that is lacking. We ordered some crabcakes which were basically mush compacted and sautéed. While I enjoyed my blackened mahi, my dad had the tuna steak which was overcooked and dry. Also we had fried clam strips which was more batter than clams. The wait is super long, plan ahead. If you don't mind sitting at the bar, you can bypass the line. The outdoor deck area is a great spot especially at sunset and if you have kids, they can feed the fish.

The service was excellent. Our waitress was really nice and very personable, she suggested a few items which, of course we got! We all loved our food. It was delicious! The restaurant was decorated really cute. It definitely was worth going to.

Great food and exceptional service. The view under the bridge was fun and we loved feeling the breeze and watching the boats float by.

The restaurant has local charm. Not very very expensive but it is nicely decorated and very friendly. We got crispy calamari, mahi fish sandwiches, shrimp po boy sandwiches and coke and unsweetened tea. The food came up fairly quickly. The calamari is very good, esp with the sauces and lemon juices! My fish sandwiches were perfect and very yummy with the tartar sauce. It also came with fries, hush puppies, slaw. Shrimp po boy sandwiches is also amazing. My husband and I started with the buffalo shrimp, which is a go-to order for us at seafood spots. The buffalo flavor was good, but the sauce was very oily, and several shrimp still had bits of shell attached beyond the tails, so I ended up picking shell out of my mouth while eating. For my entrée, I ordered the snow crab and shrimp platter and asked for it to be cooked without butter but keep the old bay. The plate arrived with no discernible seasoning at all, and the seafood, potatoes, and corn tasted like they'd been boiled in plain water. When I asked about it, the server explained that they don't steam crab or shrimp in Old Bay, despite agreeing to that when I ordered, and that the platters rely on butter for flavor, which was disappointing for a $40-$50 dish. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because my mother did enjoy her lobster platter. That said, her lobster was absolutely swimming in butter and Old Bay--not lightly drizzled as the menu implies--and it felt like butter was the main source of flavor rather than an enhancement. The server even mentioned how much butter the restaurant goes through in a day, which reinforced that this is their primary approach to seasoning. I enjoy seasoning and lots of flavor, and I prefer seafood that's cooked so the spices and the delicious taste of the shellfish stand out, not preparations that rely on heavy butter, so this restaurant ultimately wasn't a good fit for my preferences.

The Pink Flamingo was delicious. The biggest surprise for us was the cinnamon roll kitchen where bakers are making fresh cinnamon rolls in front of you and you can eat as many as you like! The beauty of this restaurant is that the "fish camp" fixins' are on an all-you-can-eat buffet. But your entree is made to order, fresh for you! Best of both worlds! We had 8 in our party and were delighted to know that it takes 12 for the gratuity to be automatic. That was not an issue, though. Our first server "cousin Richard" was excellent, but then he got pulled away and "cousin Bailey" took care of us. Both were delightfully friendly and very attentive. In our group we had chicken tenders, which I sampled and were some of the best I've ever had. We had shark and alligator appetizers. They were both awesome. We had sautéed shrimp and sautéed scallops. Both were swimming in a delicious buttery garlic sauce and cooked to perfection. One had meatloaf and said it was great! One had salmon. And a couple of people had the crab cakes which they also said were delicious. The sides were also good, and the "fish camp" sides were awesome. I want to especially comment on the cheese grits. As a G.R.I.T.S. (Girl raised in the south) and a devout grits snob, I give my wholehearted double thumbs-up on the grits. I thought my grandson was going to make himself sick eating so much! Final word, the cinnamon rolls were AMAZING!! Warm out of the oven and covered with sugary sauce.

This time around it was time to get out to the Atlantic and drive down the A1A for a ways to take in the ocean air and the endless horizon... and find something good to eat as well. Finding a place that actually has an ocean view is not easy, sadly. You would think there would be more places in the Daytona/Ormond/Flagler Beach area, but there really aren't. Condos being on the beach has killed that scene for a good part, which is very sad. However, there are a couple of places still available... and one of them is Crabby Joe's. Situated out on the end of a pier, Crabby Joe's is a breezy eatery where you can grab some deep fried goodness and a beer if you like. I went for the fish and chips this time around, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of fish that came with the dish. The fish was excellent, and the chips hit the spot as well. Crabby Joe's has definitely entered our list of possible places to go to for a bite to eat when we are out on the coast!
