In Port Orange, McKenna's Place is my favorite PLaCE to watch football. I like the atmosphere. The food is great. They even make great wings which is hard to find in Florida. The craft beer selection is decent. My favorite part about my visits is Diana. She is the perfect server. Feel like she fell from heaven and landed at McKenna's Place. She is like the awesome in the sauce. Thanking her for always making my visits a memorable experience.

Very personable service the servers really make sure to take care of you. Typical pub ambiance with plenty of seating. The food was very good. I had the french onion soup and others in the group had the shrimp cocktail and everyone enjoyed their meals. My one gripe would be the margaritas. There was a 2 for 1 special which was a great value but they didn't taste like your typical margarita. I opted for the beer after that which they do have many great options on tap.

Amazing food! They have a great gluten free selection. I ended up sampling so many gluten free items because it is rare that I can go out and enjoy foods. The waitress offered to make the chips in the separate gluten free fryer. The (I'm assuming) owner came over and even talked to us and asked how my meal was. The atmosphere is a pub style. The bar selection was good as well.

Jeep Beach in Daytona, and we chose to come here for the Boy Scout fundraiser event... seems the restaurant does a lot of community events. Nice. First off, the menu is extensive! There were so many options it was so hard to chose. Since I knew I was going to do a review, I decided to have appetizers for dinner... I chose the Russian Reuben Bites, a bowl of the Clam Chowder, and some wings with the "Lucky Leprechaun" sauce - which I was told was basically a combination of all the sauces except for the Garlic Parmesan. My friend had the Bloomin' Jalapeño Burger. Secondly, service was amazing... from the gentleman who greeted us at the front and our server who checked on us multiple times and allowed me to sample a couple of the brew selections. I settled on a fruity beer which was light and refreshing. There were so many choices the name escapes me, but it was something tropical and uncommon like guava... papaya... regardless, it was good...! Thirdly, the decor is total pub decor with a ton of TV screens which says "locals hangout..." Finally, let's talk about the food... The clam chowder was New England Style. Thinner than some I've had and not as hearty. I took a point off for that and the appetizer which I'll talk about next, however the soup was very buttery-creamy, and the couple of clam pieces I did find were sandy which always speaks to some freshness. The Russian Reuben "Bites" was one large potato cake with corned beef and cheese on top. There was also a drizzle of Russian dressing. It was like a deconstructed sandwich with a potato cake base. I liked the corned beef, but I really wish there would have been more dressing as the potato cake was very dry. Lastly, the chicken wings. Now, I lived in Buffalo, NY for 3 years, and they, unfortunately, have the wings I compare all wings to. So these wings were a little on the smaller side, but still overall filling. The sauce was a mix of flavors which worked together. Dip into the dressing which cooled things down just a bit. BTW - my friend loved her burger. She said it was cooked perfectly and had great flavors. She chose the coleslaw which she stated tasted fresh, and the waiter confirmed they make it in house. She's pretty sure it's a mayo base, which we both favor over Miracle Whip type dressing. I will definitely come back again, if only to try something else from that large menu... They also have Blue Plate Specials during the week, so will have to try one of those out as well... It's always nice to go where the local go as well as to a place that's friendly, inviting, and which seems to take an active role in the community.

A locally owned restaurant in port Orange. Tired their lobster roll. It was good. The staff and service was good.

The food was not fresh. They served with many causes to mask the taste of the food. Fish tacos were very messy.

First off, the salad base was a great spring mix of leafy greens with sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, grated cheese. Everything was fresh and crispy. Their balsamic vinaigrette was very good. Next, let's talk about these Zingers. A very generous portion of them came with the salad order. They were so juicy and flavorful. They were a meal in and of themselves. I could have just eaten them and been totally satisfied. I had added some chicken wings because, why not? I ordered them tossed in garlic sauce, and they were also flavorful, hearty and well prepared. I'd never thought about ordering from Miller's Ale House in the past because I always thought of it as just another chain restaurant, but this order has me rethinking my next lunch order... because I would definitely order from them again.

Let me start with the single positive, because I need to be fair: the presentation was genuinely…read morefine. Everything looked beautiful, like a perfectly styled set for a culinary disaster movie. The plates were clean, the garnish was precise--it was the visual equivalent of a lovely, non-threatening sunrise before a meteor strikes. But then, the eating began. My wife ordered the steak. After the first few bites, she offered a suspicious frown and declared, "This just doesn't seem right." I shrugged it off. Ignorance, as they say, is bliss. I was preoccupied with my Osso Buco. It tasted fine, actually! Quite lovely, a rich, savory broth wrapping around the tender veal. It was, perhaps, the perfect Trojan Horse. The true nature of the meal revealed itself the second we stepped through our own front door. It wasn't indigestion; it was a full-scale gastronomic betrayal. My wife was the first to fall, clutching her abdomen as if she'd swallowed a volcanic eruption. Her "very bad stomach" quickly escalated into a Category 5 hurricane. However, the universe saved its true masterpiece of chaos for me. The Osso Buco wasn't just fine; it was a pressurized biological weapon, timed to detonate precisely at the point of maximum inconvenience. I experienced the physical manifestation of the phrase "explosive diarrhea." This was not merely going to the bathroom--this was a tactical, hurried retreat that involved sounds that should only be heard in wartime documentaries. I'm currently filing a Missing Person Report for my large intestine. I have reliable reports that my colon, having achieved escape velocity, was last seen heading south on I-95, passing the Ft. Pierce exit at approximately 85 mph. If anyone sees a long, winding tube attempting to hitchhike to Miami, please inform it that its services are urgently required back north.

It's obvious that the cook does not know how to cook. I ordered a ribeye and got a strip, my steak and mashed potatoes were cold. All our food came out at once our appetizers are solid and the main course I'm not one to complain to the waitress, because it's not her fault, but I'll let other people know about my bad experience and I won't ever go again There were six of us we all agreed it was a bad place and we won't return I was in the place when it was called the south turn and I loved it, and they had great food From my experience tonight, seems like the cook doesn't know what he's doing and it seems like the owner doesn't know what he's doing. I'm assuming the owner does not have restaurant experience. The atmosphere is absolutely horrible. It used to be a nice place when it was the south turn. It looks like a dump inside like the owner just turned it into a warehouse. The margaritas had zero alcohol in them they might as well be called virgins The prime rib sandwich was horrible I'd advise stay away from this place. The place was pretty full and only one waitress and I felt bad for her. There was no owner or manager helping out. This place is a complete joke
