We had driven past this diner multiple times and randomly stopped for lunch one day (we were headed to our favorite Indian restaurant but it was closing soon). It's an old IHOP that has been redone. Very clean. Friendly and helpful waitress. I had a side salad and firecracker shrimp - both were good. Hubby elected to create a random meal of a side salad (good), fried potatoes (not as good) and corned beef hash (I wish I had gotten a picture of it - tiny serving, very burned on the bottom, not good). May try it for breakfast again sometime but first visit did not stand up to what we consider the best diner in town. read more

Excellent service! Got seated quickly even though it was packed and had a great server. The food was delicious, the coffee was fresh! My boyfriend and I split the crab cake Benedict and the egg flatbread. Both were incredible! This used to be an IHOP and still has the layout. However the service and the food are outstanding. Our server made us feel like we were guests at her home; she was wonderful. The food was delicious. I was debating between a 2 and a 3, but everyone else's breakfast was good, so I gave a 3. I ordered the breakfast flatbread because it was something unique. I would not order it again. I loved all the veggies and meats on it, however I wasn't expecting the type of flatbread it was (not to their fault at all). The menu said there would be melted American cheese and another type. I wasn't expecting the base layer to be American nacho cheese. I am not a picky eater, but nacho cheese with eggs and cooked veggies for breakfast was not appetizing. It was canned, extremely processed nacho cheese at that. I ate what was on top that didn't have nacho cheese on it. Our server, Gabby, was an absolute gem--so kind and welcoming it felt like we were visiting relatives instead of dining out. We both ordered the Belgian Waffle Combo, and Gabby enthusiastically promised we wouldn't be disappointed. She wasn't kidding--these were hands-down the best waffles I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, cloud-soft on the inside--truly waffle perfection. Every waffle I eat from now on will be compared to that waffle at Angelina's! The bacon was smoky and flavorful, the eggs were light and fluffy, and everything tasted freshly made. I sipped on a refreshing iced coffee while my husband enjoyed a glass of orange juice, and we both left full and happy. So I have been here twice a few months apart. The first time was here for a family gathering around the holidays and had a not great experience but it's busy and things happen so I decided to give them another try recently and I did a to go order for chicken tenders and the loaded fries. The employee I spoke with was super nice and did a great job but the food was a no from me again. The inside is a little bland to me but I guess we can look past it as the second time I had done a to go order. The chicken tenders are cooked odd and the breading is like soft and not crunchy and it just isn't the best chicken I've had. The loaded fries were missing jalepenos even though I did confirm when ordering that I did in fact want them. It's nothing special I hated the cheese they had used for it. The bacon was good and the ranch dipping was great. I probably won't be giving this place another try. read more

New place. Only open for 5 months in previous IHOP location. Redid the whole place. Tell you what.... when it was IHOP I never saw the parking lot as full. Good selection on the menu I had one of "eggceteras" with potatoes and meat. Mine was sausage and hashbrowns with cheese. Candyce had build your omelette and the eggs were super fluffy. We stopped in on the later side of a Friday night with a larger group. Immediately when we walked in we were greeted and brought to a table. The waitress was so friendly and we had a great time cracking jokes with her. I love a place that serves breakfast all day and their corned beef hash was exactly what I was looking for! We had a variety ordered among us: burgers, cheesesteak, biscuits and gravy, and corned beef hash. Everything was fresh and cooked exactly the way we had expected. We came her with several church members for lunch bunch. They changed the old IHOP into a bright restaurant with better seating. Service was fast and friendly from a server who used to work at the old IHOP. Not a freezing as IHOP used to be so that was nice. The food was delicious. We all had breakfast items for lunch. This newish restaurant is in the old IHOP building - now nicely remodeled, in front of the old Osceola Elementary school in Ormond Beach off of A1A. The food is amazing. My friend and I both ordered the Rodeo burger sans jalapeño peppers and they arrived on a platter with a Bowie knife sticking out of the top! We deconstructed them to eat them and take home more than half of the serving! The pork butt is delicious, along with the bacon, BBQ sauce, and onion ring on the sandwich. The burger itself was cooked to perfection, flavorful and juicy. She had fries and I had upgraded to onion rings and we split both. Teresa, our server, was so lovely and patient - we hadn't seen each other in a while and had some catching up to do. She explained everything and was perfectly attentive. My friend always orders a take-away for her hubby (so she doesn't have to cook dinner), and it arrived when we were just ready to leave - perfect timing! The good part about my experience here was the waitress was nice. I ordered a steak that was cooked the level I requested, but it tasted literally like nothing. No salt, or seasoning at all. It was like a plain piece of bland meat. $27 for something I had to force myself to eat 1/3 of and take the rest with me to eat after I fix it at home. I gave 2 stars only because the waitress was nice. I will not go back again and recommend trying somewhere else for a tasty steak. read more

I don't think I would've known unless they told me our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I really like what they did with the decor. My omelette was pretty tasty however, my wife's meal not so much. She ordered scrambled eggs with crispy bacon, and one pancake. The bacon for sure was not crispy and limpy. Scrambled eggs were slightly charred as was the pancake was overcooked. They took it back and tried for round two. The scrambled eggs came out better however the pancake was undercooked this time and raw in the middle. And the bacon still not crispy. We do a lot of cooking so we knew what the problem was. They have their griddle too hot. It was cooking things extremely fast on the outside, but not enough time to cook the center. The waitress ended up giving us a small discount which in my opinion did not cover the inconvenience. With all the places to pick around Daytona, I suggest going somewhere else. read more
