Stopped here for a quick breakfast after picking some friends up from the airport. I started with a large glass of chocolate milk and then ordered the breakfast sandwich. I would have preferred it on a bagel but the waitress said they were out. It was still really good. They definitely give you enough food, the pancakes were huge and there were enough home fries. My only complaint is the waitress seemed too busy for us. Before we could get everything out of our mouth to order, she was already walking away, every single time. This was an interesting experience. We enjoyed coffees and two wraps with my spouse. We were greeted quickly and sat at a table towards the back. The restaurant was full during early lunch. The two wraps were basic and came with fries and a pickle. It was easy enough to have a conversation in the booth with the hustle and bustle of the restaurant. Went to Kiki's today for late breakfast. We were sat down after a brief wait and were greeted by a server in a few minutes. And happily received our drinks and placed our orders. Then ...after 40 minutes still no meal and server wasn't sure when we would have it. Asked server for our bill for our 2 coffees and left. This was a second chance visit as our previous visit had less than average service. How long does it take to make pancakes and eggs. This is a chain, but a good chain. The restaurant was very clean and easy to maneuver through for my older mom with a wide walking place between tables. Our waitress was kind, helpful and attentive. Ordered orange juice, an order of cinnamon apple French toast and the cheese steak omelette ($14.79). White American cheese is standard but I asked to substitute to pepper Jack cheese. BUYER BEWARE- by simply changing cheese it became a MYO omelette and was charged Ala carte pricing of $16.79. The irony to this - pepper Jack is $.50. This seems a bit deceptive and unethical. The reason I gave this 3 stars is actually because of the high prices for such a small amount of food. Now, I was there for breakfast and I had eggs, toast and drink. (I rarely eat breakfast meat) My cost was over $12.00. I looked at the rest of the menu and I'm glad my purse or hunger didn't go there for lunch or dinner. The meal wasn't spectacular or the flavor and price. Now, they had just opened and there were 12 people in the place so, service was fast and the greeter was very nice. As for the "Ambiance" it's nice. Not over the top. It was dimly lit. Now, it is an expensive shopping center so you can expect the price (if you can afford it) but, I'd rather spend my money and taste buds somewhere else. We have been to Keke's in the Trails shopping center a few times. Always a long wait, and don't plan to park too close to the entrance, but that's probably a good sign....right!? Every visit has been yummy, and we have enjoyed very good service as well! My hubs is normally a simple order: eggs over easy and toast. This particular visit he saw a plate of pancakes go to another table and decided it was a pancake kind of day. Unbeknownst to us, he saw silver dollar pancakes pass by our table. When he ordered 3 pancakes the server asked "you're sure you want 3 pancakes?!".....additionally, the manager stopped by and re-confirmed his order of 3 pancakes. As you can see in the pic, 3 pancakes is a tower of deliciousness! I had the piña colada stuffed French toast, and we both made it through about 1/3 of our ginormous meals!
