FOOD: Typical coffee shop stuff. I've tried their sandwiches and it's just microwaved. Lemon loaf is good. SERVICE: This is the reason why I only gave three stars. The service is extremely slow. Even though the staff is very nice having one person in the morning is not efficient. I rarely visit because of how much time it takes to get one drink or something as simple as an almond milk latte. For example, there was one person ahead of me in line this morning at 8 AM and it took over 20 minutes for my order to be taken. If there were two people there I would've been in and out a lot faster. A month before that I walked in and a lady that was standing behind me was complaining about how long it took and she ended up leaving and going somewhere else. I have also left before because it took too long to get up to the counter to order my drink and sometimes there is only one person ahead of me. Today it took me 36 minutes to get a plain almond milk latte. I don't know if it's because they don't have enough financial ability to have two people in the morning but they really should. A lot of other people I talk to say they don't come here in the morning because it takes too long. AMBIANCE: It's a typical coffee shop. I think it would be better if they had more lounging areas. They just have the few chairs in a circle in the back window area. Everything else are small tables for only two people or high tops. There's another coffee shop down the street that is a lot faster and they have a lot of comfortable seating that isn't just a hard chair with a table read more

After a reformer Pilates session with my friend, we treated ourselves to Foxtail Coffee -- and it was the perfect post-workout stop! We had iced matcha lattes and a chocolate brownie -- both were absolutely amazing. The matcha was smooth and refreshing, and the brownie was rich, fudgy, and just what we needed. The inside is so cozy and inviting, with a warm vibe that makes you want to stay and chat for hours. Definitely one of those feel-good spots you'll keep coming back to! read more

I don't know if each franchise is different or just the whole company has gone downhill. I brought in friends from abroad for a light breakfast and good coffee. We were served our cappuccinos in tiny kiddie cups. Then our sandwich and bites were taken out of a freezer and put in a microwave. Terrible quality for a premium price. I remember getting eggs and bacon at Foxtail Winter Park, made fresh. This is certainly not a location I will be coming back to. read more

Looks appealing when you step in the door. I believe that interior done with wood panels is great. Everything else is great disappointment. Service, didn't exist. No welcome greeting, except lifting head from the phone. Tried to order cappuccino, to find that they don't have any milk in the store. Trying something different, I ordered cappuccino with oat milk. That was over burnt Not a good experience at all. read more

Foxtail in Ormond is my excuse to make a pitstop when I'm in the area. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. This location is gorgeous inside and they usually have a well themed board outside with something funny or cool. As for the coffee well you're in for a treat! The cold brew or regular Iced-coffee are my go to with a well balance of flavor and strength in their beans. Sometimes i steal a sip of my wife's or kids order to try different drinks and everything has been tasty. read more

Excited! Relieved! That's the best way I can describe my feelings when I found out that we now have Foxtail Coffee in our area! I was excited because I've always enjoyed delicious coffees & excellent service at other Foxtail locations. And I was relieved to have another coffee option in our town! As a coffee lover, I just am glad to have options. This location doesn't disappoint. I'm here to give a shout-out for the mobile app, which I almost always use to customize & place my order. Then I proceed to the location to pick up my prepared order. So convenient! Upon entering the location to receive my order, I'm always warmly greeted and the place is alive with others who have come to work on laptops, chat with friends, or just relax with their favorite beverage... A very nice scene! The coffee shop is clean and my order is always prepared perfectly! I'm so happy you're here, Foxtail! read more

This is a very chill location. We enjoy coming here to relax and enjoy their coffee (and occasional pastry). read more

I like the staff. Everyone is super nice. I really dislike the music though. i see kids in here and there is language in the music talking about sexual content or just breakup music that's very annoying and distracting. Music doesn't really create a family friendly environment that's calm. Again staff is amazing but there is no reason for that music to be that annoying and provocative. read more

I've enjoyed seeing Foxtail grow throughout the Central Florida (and beyond) area. With each visit, I'm greeted and find myself being able to ask questions to accommodate my drink of the day preference as I enjoy trying new flavors, etc but hate when drinks get too sweet. With everything being house made, I appreciate the time to adjust to my taste buds. And never disappoints!! Today it was a pumpkin spice latte with almond milk and very light on the flavor - perfection! read more

Nice new coffee shop in the trails shopping plaza. Similar prices to Starbucks. Very bright and light inside. Love the seating - very comfortable. Ice cream as well as baked goods. Hope it does well and stays around. They are right next to Dairy Queen DQ so they will have some people who want a coffee when they sit at DQ as well. Next to them is a massage envy place as well. read more

Impromptu trip to see folks for Mother's Day and surprise them. A nice visit to a local third wave place in Ormond Beach didn't disappoint. My pour was on point. Bud loved his mocha and mom loved her pour as well. Thanks Foxtail! When I return, I'll peruse and savor once more. read more

I saw that this place opened up recently and have been meaning to check it out. The shop is decorated beautifully and I loved that they had Zach Bryan playing. I enjoyed my cold brew with orange bitters and oat milk a lot. The sandwich was just ok, next time I'll throw some hot sauce on it or something. It was nice and hot though, and the cheese was super melty. Looking forward to trying some of the other coffee options and I saw that they have ice cream as well! read more

This should be a 5-star review. Coffee was good. Ambience was good. WiFi was fast. Perfect place to do some work. It wasn't the number of issues yet cause me to give it 2 stars. I'm giving 2 stars because of how careless it seems management (and maybe staffs are). The negatives: - coffee cup lid did not fit the cup. If I had tried to drink it without checking, I would have been wearing that hot coffee. I let the barista know. They were kind and offered a mug to me. They told me that it was a bad batch of cups and said they were told they needed to work through the bad batch before getting new ones. I suspect that customers have spilled coffee on themselves. Cmon - do better. - food ... very few food options available here ... at least on this particular morning. Maybe they had a run on food that morning before I got there. I'll give them a pass on that. I'll definitely give it another chance next time I'm in the area. These negatives are fixable. read more

I love this place... I go every morning. I'll raise my review if they get COFFEE back in this COFFEE SHOP. You've been without COFFEE for a week. I don't want your americano. I don't want to pay more for your latte. I just want a COFFEE. You could have at least discounted lattes to the price of a coffee. read more

Great coffee and service. I was greeted by a friendly employee and the coffee was excellent

I want to love Foxtail but I feel like every time I'm here they are operating with minimal staff which obviously makes service slow. I came in yesterday (Saturday) and there was one sweet girl taking orders and making all coffees, including mobile orders, and running the place on her own. It took almost 30 minutes to get my two iced lattes because there was a line of people already waiting when I got there. I came in today (Sunday) again for two coffees and the same girl is here all alone working every role, and doing an excellent job at it. I feel like on a weekend especially there should be at a minimum two people working behind the counter. If someone was sick or called out, then management should be here to support their staff. This employee deserves to make double the pay this weekend for working the jobs of two baristas on the busiest shifts. read more

Would love this place if only they could get my hot lattes hot instead of merely lukewarm.

I have to start by saying, I don't like or drink coffee. I do drink hot chocolate and eat muffins and both were delicious. The place is also super cute and the staff was very friendly. Convenient location too! Can't wait to try the ice cream read more

They have by far the best tea that I have had from any coffee shop. I tell all my friends about it.

The ambiance of this establishment is warm and inviting. Plenty of light. Great seating. Excellent vibe. When I ordered, I was offered a few suggestions which was nice. I need to change my review from 1 star to 5! I just found out that the owner changed back to Chai concentrate!!! I,for one, appreciate the switch back from the pump. Great place great vibes great hot chocolate best I've ever had and Alejandro is a awesome guy

Seemed like a nice place. When I walked up to the door that I seen people walk out of it was locked. I was told to go around the other side no problem I walked in and I was jovial. Happy in a good mood. I got a gallon of cold brew for my wife, some chocolate and Coca-Cola. When the young man rang me up he asked me for my name I told him I wasn't interested in giving him any information. I just wanted to give him money and pay for my order. He took attitude with me and walked away, left me standing there at the register when I chose no tip because of it it charge me 15% anyway when I brought it to their attention they seemed a little bit confused so I said, never mind they could keep it even though I was upset at that young man's attitude as I was walking out I thought I should say some thing and I turned, and I suggested the next time a customer didn't want to share his name that they should just take it in stride and smile and take the money and run to which they replied... "Have a nice day... "... Fuck you read more

Good Food . Coffee was good but made with milk . I asked for cream. Will give them another shot.

I am a Southern Californian who walks every morning to my local coffee roasters for a 16 ounce drip. When visiting my brother in Ormond Beach, I always search for a coffee shop that meets my standards. Quite frankly, there have not been any until I tried Foxtail last week. In fact, I tried it three straight days. The coffee is excellent, especially the "Midnight" dark roast. There are also some delicious baked goods including the lemon bread and blueberry muffin (albeit the blueberry muffin could use a few more blueberries}. The two baristas who served me were both friendly and efficient. But the best feature of Foxtail is the ambience. Plenty of seating with a variety of choices. They even have a bar overlooking Nova Road which is great for customers drinking alone. read more

Love the decor, tropics meets industrial. The service was excellent, had some great recommendations. The beans they use are very good with zero bitterness. Tried the lavender lemon cold brew. Absolutely delicious. The location is easy to get to. I highly recommend this place. read more

I am so excited a new coffee shop to go to ! I ordered a vanilla caramel hot coffee latte large. I couldn't taste any flavor except for strong coffee. I asked for it remade please and got a twenty question reply and rolled eyes to beat that. First time impressions not so good. Coffee was seven something and I spent a total with tip of $9.00 and kinda would have liked to enjoy a flavorful hot coffee. A different girl helped me after she walked away and turned her back on us ! This second girl helped made my coffee again for me. She was much more professional and very nice ! The coffee was good and with a different coffee flavor and is delicious and strong ... but I mean I liked it for the deep coffee flavor but still not alot of caramel flavor latte. I guess I'm used to other coffee shops with less coffee flavor and more caramel or whatever flavors. It's just very different .....much much more deep coffee flavor here at foxtails. The second girl was SO MUCH NICER and pleasant. Whew ! A lot of work to get it and didn't feel very good in the first place for asking let alone having to beg for it. I'm kinda NOT feeling like I would feel very comfortable going back but if I did so I would just get a regular coffee. I love coffee and meet up with friends at different coffee shop locations around Ormond and Port Orange Florida. read more
