Their coffee is amazing. The best in Deland, hands down. Very cute ambience with seating inside and out. The servers are very helpful and kind. They have a limited food but what they have is good. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem! The service is more of a walk up service to place and order and they will shout your name when your coffee is ready. As for when your food is ready they walk around deliver it to where you are sitting. The coffee was very good and flavorful. The avocado toast was simply just delicious the balsamic vinegar with the grape tomatoes and crushed peppers just really works especially on the sour dough bread. My breakfast here ran around 14 bucks and that was for a coffee and avocado toast, they do have other breakfast items as well but I highly suggest the avocado toast. I love that they are a small business and seems like the locals know of it. They also grab sources from other small businesses for example their pastries come from another small business in Casselberry which I absolutely love again! I got the apple tart and the cinnamon roll which was okay but that apple tart was more than okay it was delicious. The price of the pastry range about 2-3 bucks not bad for a small business. If you are in the area please check them out.

First let me say that from a prior experience I was a bit skeptical on how this visit would go. That said I was pleasantly surprised! The barista greeted us in a very upbeat and happy way, made some menu suggestions, and guided some of our decisions. Jim ordered the huevos rancheros and I ordered the sausage biscuits and gravy and two hot lattes. The food arrived shortly after the lattes - and talking about the lattes they were delish! And very creative with the art on top! The sage sausage biscuits and gravy was to die for - seriously - I'm a snob when it comes to this dish, and it was superb! Jim's huevos rancheros were amazing and I am not typically a fan of this dish. I highly recommend d the new Trilogy Cafe ~ and you can be sure that we will be back again!!

We come here about once a year when we visit family. It is a "happy place" for us. This morning, we had the "Oh Canada" and the "Sweater Vest". My wife, who is a coffee connoisseur (read: "addict"), told me "this is my favorite holiday drink ever."

Trilogy is still a favorite! You can't beat the downtown Deland location! It's so convenient and has a great vibe. The staff are quick and the service is good. I got an iced lavender latte and it was well balanced, refreshing, and delicious!

The Salted Fig Hot Latte & Fresh Coffee Beans you can purchase.

My review is 4-4.5 however based on everyone else's reactions; I have to give it a 5. As a group of 5, my friends & I stopped by for a quick coffee break Saturday morning & ordered to go. Trilogy was highly recommended by one of my friends who orders their coffee beans from here. So when we learned that for Small Business Saturday they were having a deal that if you buy 3 bags of coffee beans you'll get 25% off, she was ecstatic. We all wanted to try their new fall coffees; I ordered the Salted Fig and a croissant & my other friends ordered a Chai Tea Latte, Sweater Vest & a muffin. Everything turned out really really good. The salted fig was sweet but you can taste the balanced flavors of the salt & spices. All coffees come in 1 size and they let you choose 3 styles: Cappuccino, latte, or straight. Hot or Iced. There were a lot of people there this morning but I received my coffee almost instantly. There was a good amount of seating inside and outside. You can work with your laptop there and they have a back patio where you can bring your dogs. The service was friendly, the person taking orders answered my questions & helped us all choose the coffees we were craving. The price was the same as starbucks, it is specialty coffee so you get to try a variety of fancy drinks & flavors you wouldn't typically get at a fast food place. Will return again to support local :)

Very cool spot, a huge parking lot right to the place. Love the vibes inside, very chill place. Baristas are very friendly and greet you with a warm smile. They are knowledgeable on the menu as well. I ordered an iced matcha latte with a shot of lavender honey. To be honest, I wasn't a fan of the matcha. I had a sip of my friend's iced latte and that was pretty good!

    Tina T.

Very non-descript coffee shop with good variety of drink options and pastries. My latte, croissant and pop tart was 15 which seems about average. Tipping can be done virtually (not on the card system) or cash.

Sky was so sweet, she helped my best friend and i with the menu and recommending something we'd both like and it was amazing. 10 out of 10, great atmosphere to hang out and get really great coffee.

Played a round of golf with my son on my birthday and he wanted to take me to this coffee spot. I ordered the Salted Fig: Excellent balance of flavor. I can taste the fig but not overpowering. Temperature of latte is perfect for me. Not too hot so I can just sip away without having to worry about burning my tongue

The ambiance was inviting, stylish, and felt like the perfect setting for a weekend experience with friends. The food overall was good. The shrimp and grits were definitely the highlight for me full of flavor and well done. The steak, however, wasn't my favorite and didn't quite hit the mark. The fruit bowl was exactly that fruit in a bowl nothing special but fresh. The banana pudding was delicious and a sweet way to end the meal. The service was a bit inconsistent, which I believe was due to the waitress being very busy. There were a few moments where we waited longer than expected for menus, straws, or even water. While noticeable, it didn't completely take away from the experience and felt more like a staffing issue than a lack of care. Overall, I would absolutely return for brunch with friends. The atmosphere alone makes it worth another visit, and with the right company, it's a great spot to enjoy a relaxed and beautiful brunch experience.

For appetizers, we tried the coconut shrimp, Table tots, spinach dip, and charcuterie. Everything was fantastic except the shrimp, which were a bit overcooked. The rest of the starters were flavorful and well prepared. Most of our group ordered the NY strip since they were out of the filet, while others chose the meatloaf, mushroom pasta, and a few other dishes. Portions were generous and the food was tasty. While the strip wasn't the best I've had, it was cooked perfectly. Dessert was a bit hit or miss. We tried all the pies -- most were decent and nicely presented, though nothing stood out. The salted caramel cheesecake had a grainy texture rather than being smooth. Service was friendly, but a little rushed. Courses came out too quickly, making it hard to enjoy each one before the next arrived. The table became crowded with plates, and the pace felt chaotic at times. The server was kind and seemed possibly overwhelmed. Overall, a good meal with solid food, but pacing and a few execution details could use some attention.

We arrived early for our reservation and grabbed seats at the bar. We were immediately greeted with a smile and extensive menus! Once seated, we were placed in the second dining room and ordered drinks, four appetizers, and our entrees. Unfortunately, from the start, the table was not properly set. We had no silverware, no napkins, no side plates for sharing appetizers, no coasters, and really no table settings at all. For a party ordering multiple appetizers and drinks, this immediately made service feel disorganized and inattentive. The issue became even worse when our entrees arrived and, almost immediately after, staff started stacking chairs around us at approximately 9:12 p.m. We had only been seated maybe 15-20 minutes earlier, so as a party of five on a Saturday night, we certainly did not expect the restaurant to begin visibly shutting down while we were just starting our meal. What made it even more frustrating was that these tables were already available when we first walked in, despite being told there would be a wait. Since we were entertaining guests, we thought this would be a great opportunity to show off the rooftop, which is such a great feature for a small town like DeLand and has so much potential. Instead, the experience became embarrassing and disappointing. Having staff stack chairs and place them on tabletops in the middle of our meal felt incredibly rude and unprofessional. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and made us feel rushed out rather than welcomed. When we asked to speak with a manager, the response we received was that "the servers have to go home." That explanation was unacceptable. Paying customers should never be made to feel like an inconvenience, especially while actively dining. With my own background in restaurant service and management, I found both the handling of the situation and the manager's response to be extremely poor. As a DeLand local, this was especially disappointing because this restaurant has been making improvements and adding entertainment, which we were excited to support. Unfortunately, the poor service and lack of professionalism completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable night out.
