The cold cuts were fresh as could be and the combos - like cheddar and peppercorn horseradish on the HH and Brie and apple chutney on the A-Frame are so amazingly different. I was excited to go in and get a fresh hot pastrami sandwich, expecting something hearty and satisfying. Unfortunately, I left pretty disappointed. The biggest issue was the size of the sandwich. For the price, I honestly couldn't believe how small it was -- it was basically the size of a hot dog bun and felt more like a kid's meal than a full sandwich. That alone completely threw me off. The food may have had decent flavor, but once you feel like you overpaid for such a tiny portion, it honestly ruins the overall experience. I went in expecting a real deli-style pastrami sandwich and left feeling underwhelmed and still hungry. Maybe other menu items are better, but based on my experience, the portion size just didn't justify the price. Staff people were very welcoming.

The place looked like a dumpster fire-- tables caked with sauce, and a weird smell lingering. The staff were beyond incompetent, arguing with each other while I waited for my order. It took nearly 30 minutes to get my order of 4 subs, which was a complete disaster: soggy bread, slimy lettuce, and meat cold it could've been pulled from a freezer. I paid $15 each for this pathetic excuse of a sandwich that fell apart before I could even take a bite. Found a hair in it, and when I called in to complain, the manager didn't believe me and refuses to refund me. This place is a total scam--overpriced, disgusting, and run by people who clearly hate their jobs. Avoid it like the plague.

The staff were very friendly it definitely is a spot that makes you fill at home. It definitely has a family feel to it I even witnessed the owner give a homeless man a few slice of pizza so that definitely won me over how big her heart is very Italian like. The salad was very fresh and so was the food. They don't have a fountain drink machine so you will have to get a bottled drink unless you get a cocktail or wine. I didn't realize until it came out that the "small" was only a 10-inch pizza, so it definitely felt smaller than expected. The sauce was honestly very good, and the cheese was excellent -- it actually reminded me of pizza back home in Connecticut, which is a big compliment. Flavor-wise, those two parts carried the pizza. What threw me off was the crust and dough. The entire bread portion was crispy, including the bottom, whereas I'm more used to just the outer crust having that crunch while the inside still has some softness and chew. The dough itself also felt pretty bland and lacked flavor, almost like it was just flour and water mixed together without much seasoning or character. Overall, the sauce and cheese were the highlights for me, but the dough and texture kept it from being a great pizza experience. They have other items i desire to taste.
