Once you walk in you can see the cozy ambiance of the business, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You gotta order at the register and they bring the food to you while you wait If we're in the area again we'd come back They have more of a lunch option compared to breakfast but you can still find something if you woke up late

A handful of outdoor tables, the rest inside, all clean and efficiently turned. Everything comes out fast and hot--service is brisk, bordering on assembly-line smooth. The French toast ($9) is as basic as it gets: two slices, a dusting of powdered sugar, syrup, and a lonely half strawberry. It tastes exactly like what it looks like--standard, soft, slightly forgettable. Not offensive, just... there. The latte was solid, and my mom's coffee was hot, strong, and dependable. The avocado toast tried, but didn't quite land. Cream cheese base, fried egg, tomato, and sliced avocado--some of which leaned a little too ripe. The tomato had a firm bite, the bread barely toasted, and the whole thing felt under-seasoned and uninspired. It needed salt, crunch, personality--something. The double chocolate muffin was moist, soft, and generously studded with melted chocolate pockets. Not house-made-feeling, more like a well-executed bakery standard--but still the best bite of the morning. (They also offer cranberry walnut and blueberry.) Bottom line: Skip the composed plates. Grab a muffin and a coffee--it's the smartest, happiest move here.

We stopped in on Friday at lunchtime for their Beer Battered Haddock Fish Fry Friday. 12 ounce…read morefilet lightly Battered with fries n slaw for only $15.99. According to the owners Facebook posts business has been slow and we like to support our local businesses. They run daily specials and we were in the mood for their Fish Fry Friday their clam chowder and we absolutely had to try one of their burgers based on the photos they post (also, Mondays special is BOGO 1/2 price on the behemoth burgers!). So we asked our server if it would be possible to get the fish lightly battered and she went back to ask the owner/chef. We were sitting close to the kitchen, heard her ask and heard him bark back a loud "no" but then just as quickly changed that "no" to a "yes"! Customers were coming in at a relatively, in our opinion, good stream. We started with the clam chowder which could use more clams IMHO. The fish was good too but the star of the show on this visit was the burger. We'll return to try the hot dogs and another burger. Best burger in Daytona Beach? Could be but we'll be back to confirm. Stop in, give them a try and support local hard working family businesses.

When you enter it looks like a gymnasium with food counters on each side and a living room couch and chairs in the center. I ordered my four dog to go. They were "tightly wrapped" in foil like a burrito. I was "VERY Surprised" when when I open them up. Each was just a compress mess of mustard/hot dog/roll and onion. Not very appealing !! I would be embarrassed to serve food looking like this. Please improve your packaging for "orders to go". Al F
