We walked into this cozy little establishment and were welcomed immediately. The service was wonderful and the owner and her daughter made it a point to make us feel at home. My husband ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice that was the sweetest I've ever tasted. He went traditional with eggs, toast and bacon which were all cooked to perfection and I had the baked avocado which was hands down one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I'm a savory girl and try to eat healthy when possible so this was perfect for me. The baked avocado was stuffed with eggs, cheese, and crispy bacon on top which was nestled on a bed of fresh crisp lettuce, tomato, green onion and a fresh tangy dressing that gave it the perfect balance of acid that it needed. Cutting into the avocado was my favorite part to get to that beautiful runny yolk. So many crepe choices too. I can't wait to go back next time we are here visiting to try something else!

Located on the beach side of Atlantic Avenue in what looks like a motel, Adam's Egg appears to be a popular place for motel guests. We were seated promptly by an overly friendly server and perused the menu. After hearing about their breakfast special, Adam's Breakfast Bowl, my wife decided to order that with crispy house potatoes, crispy bacon and scrambled eggs with gravy on the side ($15). She also ordered a side of toasted wheat toast ($2). I ordered the Adam's Two and Two with scrambled eggs, bacon and house potatoes ($13). We each ordered coffee ($8) and water to go with our meals. My wife liked her dish but thought the potatoes weren't crispy. My breakfast was fine, although I thought the scrambled eggs lacked the fluffiness that I've come to expect for an elevated breakfast experience. Lately, I've been judging breakfast joints by how fluffy their scrambled eggs are...and this didn't quite make the mark. It was an OK breakfast. The highlight of our meal was the friendly and efficient server. Breakfast for 2 with tip came out to just over $48.

Never once were we asked if we needed anything. My husband was almost hit in the back of his head with a big box of snack size Lays potato chips. Honestly, that was very unprofessional if they do this every Tuesday morning, they are only opened until 2 PM. They have all afternoon to have an order delivered or come in early before the restaurant opens to have it delivered. You do not go back-and-forth through a restaurant ignoring your customers because you have a delivery. Besides that... aren't most deliveries brought in through the back door not the front. We waited for our check but never came so we stood at the register until we could pay our bill. The restaurant was nicely decorated for St. Patrick's Day but maybe be more considerate of your customers.
