Everyone was so kind! I got the traditional eggs Benedict. Eggs were cooked really well! I didn't love their version of Canadian bacon but the sauce was good. The breakfast potatoes were cooked to perfection! The other persons in my party got an omelet, French toast, and chocolate chip pancakes. I was the only one who didn't finish (I was full). The staff was friendly and the service was quick! Parking is confusing but the staff inside reassured that where we parked was good. We were on vacation and to our disappointment we didn't get Adam's Egg the first day but literally on our way to the airport! Definitely worth a visit (or two) read more

My wife and I are in Daytona Beach to attend her nephew's graduation from college. Staying at the Hilton, we decided to walk to Adam's Egg for breakfast, just over a mile away. Located on the beach side of Atlantic Avenue in what looks like a motel, Adam's Egg appears to be a popular place for motel guests. We were seated promptly by an overly friendly server and perused the menu. After hearing about their breakfast special, Adam's Breakfast Bowl, my wife decided to order that with crispy house potatoes, crispy bacon and scrambled eggs with gravy on the side ($15). She also ordered a side of toasted wheat toast ($2). I ordered the Adam's Two and Two with scrambled eggs, bacon and house potatoes ($13). We each ordered coffee ($8) and water to go with our meals. My wife liked her dish but thought the potatoes weren't crispy. My breakfast was fine, although I thought the scrambled eggs lacked the fluffiness that I've come to expect for an elevated breakfast experience. Lately, I've been judging breakfast joints by how fluffy their scrambled eggs are...and this didn't quite make the mark. It was an OK breakfast. I needed a heavy protein and carb breakfast before my race, and the hotel front desk recommended Adam's Egg. I walked over and was thankful that they open early. I got seated by the waitress and ordered the fried chicken, which was more like chicken nuggets you would get from McDonald's, potatoes, sunny side up, and chocolate chip pancakes. My husband and I found Adam's while we spent a weekend in Daytona at our daughter's dance convention. What an amazing little spot. We love finding new small businesses with great food and ambiance. Our waitress was the best! It was the weekend of 11/7-9 so if you were working that Sunday the 9th you know who you are ! She had the best personality! My wife and I spent the week just down the road from Adams Egg. We had breakfast there every morning. Our Waitress Tiffany was phenomenal and we would go back just for her amazing smile and energy! The French toast was phenomenal (I recommend ordering off menu, try the Strawberry and Cream cheese, covered in Chocolate!). The Crabby was also amazing. Love spots like these. When we go away we like to eat local, so we avoided the IHOP and other chains (which he heard from others had huge waits especially as it was Jeep week). Adam's is a in a old motel, absolutely nothing fancy. Seated right away, we had a delicious 3 egg omelet and a half order of french toast between my wife and I. ONe daughter had the kids breakfast which was more then enough. Add a few cups of coffee, and we found Adams egg reasonable in price with good quality in that 'local dive' setting. Wouldn't hesitate going back next time in the area. Not sure if i missed it..but recommendation: Add a breakfast burrito!! My favorrite :) read more

We were drawn in by the great reviews. Upon entering there is a strong moldy smell in this diner. The coffee here was like murky water. It was the worst coffee I've ever had. Zero flavor and not robust at all. I ordered an "Everything Omelette" and it was all egg, with barely any toppings at all. The country potatoes were meh. We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, especially since it is attached to a motel and you feel like you are at a truck stop when you walk in. but the food that we got was really great. We actually had a party of around 16 people and they were able to accommodate all of us and our various needs our family really enjoyed the French toast and I know personally I enjoyed the crabcake Benedict, it was nice that they serve alcoholic beverages so some of our party had mimosas others had the bloody Mary and it was great. The food is bland, overpriced and small portions. You don't get bread with the $19.00 omelette which had three slices of mushrooms in my mushroom omelette. Being the early bird that I am, I went right after the sunrise so I was the only person for a while. Courtney, my waitress was very friendly, on top of making sure if I had any questions and reviewed that they do have a mimosa special and said you can start out saying your want the bottomless but if you only end up having two, that is cheaper and she will make sure the check reflects the better deal. The menu was smaller but it actually had exactly what I was looking for without having to make small changes so it was perfect for me. I got the sausage, mushroom and monteray jack cheese omelette. Of course it came with an option of sides, which I choose the potatoes but never can eat that much. The food came out quick and just as expected. As others mention, from the outside the place looks dated, but it's a diner, aren't they all anyway and we all know the best places are what some will call "dives" but they were very clean inside and that the food was great with me leaving with left overs.
