Third wave is a MUST where ever you are in NSB! They have a great menu for brunch, lunch and dinner so you really can't go wrong! The outside seating is my favorite especially during dinner, they have beautiful market lights in their garden. The service is always stellar and super friendly staff. If you find yourself there anytime soon, ask and see if Beans The Rooster is around!!
Our favorite Florida restaurant. Food is consistently extraordinary. Tonight the three of enjoyed their new curry snapper, Alaska salmon and the special ribeye. Everything was shared and enjoyed immensely. Service was as usual attentive and friendly. Ambience is very casual and comfortable with outdoor or indoor options. I very much love coming here whenever I can. Bon Appetite!
This place was just recently remodeled. I really can't see what it looked like before. This is my first time here and it's gorgeous inside Shane was our server as well as the bartender. He was great. I knew exactly when to come and pour more water and I was thirsty that day had the third wave race sangria and I have to say that it was delicious. I will come back and order it again. My daughter had the shrimp and grits. They were fantastic. Amazing! I had the Tomato Basil Bisque, great flavors! We also ordered the Blueberry and Brie Crepes, very good! Differently would come back again to see what the menu would be for they change their menu frequently, so you don't know until you come and enjoy! They also have an outdoor seating area with a bar. We sat inside due to hot weather. Awesome job, Shane!!!
Moved the boat to NSB so will be visiting this place more often. Went for lunch and again so happy. Good service with knowledgable staff. Sat inside this time which is nice and cool and it was quiet even though busy. Had the smash burger and Sammy both super delish! Always get the pizza but decided to venture otherwise and was not disappointed!
We met up here tonight with friends we hadn't seen in years--between COVID, moves, and life just getting in the way--and honestly, we couldn't have picked a better place to reconnect. This spot has always held great memories for all of us, whether together or separately, and we were hoping it would still feel the same. It absolutely did. Since it was a Monday night, it was nicely relaxed--not too crowded--and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. We grabbed a table right by the bar in the open-air section, and everything about it was just perfect. The weather cooperated (low humidity for the win!), and the setting felt like a little tropical escape. Between the pergola, Bimini-style covers, and all the lush greenery, it honestly felt like dining in a beautiful garden. Our server was fantastic--patient, attentive, and genuinely kind--even as we got caught up in nonstop conversation and took our time ordering. Never once felt rushed, which made the night even more enjoyable. When we finally ordered, the food did not disappoint. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There are so many great options on the menu that everyone at the table left happy (and already talking about what to try next time). It's rare to find a place that delivers consistently on atmosphere, service, and food--but this one still does. So glad we chose it for such a meaningful night. We'll definitely be back.
We've been here a few times and this crab croissant we got yesterday was by far a stand out dish. It was amazing, their grits are also good and creamy. They have a good atmosphere out back and good mimosas. I want to come back for that crab croissant again!
The service here is great! It's a nice, cozy, outside restaurant with really delicious brunch and dinner menus. The cucumber lemonade is a really refreshing non- alcoholic drink, and I really loved it. The Fromage & and Fruit Board is a truest incredible mix of fruit, nuts, cheese, and even chocolate. The only complaint I have is I wish it had more cheese, it only comes with three. I would still order it again. The Shrimp Bambas were good, they had a nice kick to them.

Another great experience in NSB this week was at Third Wave with Drew as our server. This was my first time here and it did not disappoint, I can't wait to go back when I'm there in August. We sat outside and there were plenty of fans and enough shade for it to be comfortable even in the July afternoon. I love that so many places in NSB have mocktails on the menu, but Third Waves cucumber lemonade took the cake. It was so delicious and not too sweet. For meals our table ordered the huevos rancheros, pancakes, and south west hash. It was all amazing but the winning dish was the huevos rancheros, it had so much flavor in every bite but those beans are drool worthy. Yum!
I always stop in the upstairs coffee shop when in town but this time decided to have brunch in the beautiful courtyard restaurant. As it was my birthday, we started with champagne and they had watermelon juice, which I LOVE and can never find. Both my friend and I had the spinach crepes. She added grilled chicken to hers and I added blackened chicken. It was absolutely delicious and though I tried my best, I couldn't finish the large portion. The potatoes on the side were a tasty accompaniment. Our bartender/ server Sam was just lovely. She was friendly and knowledgeable without being intrusive. 10/10!
I came here solo for breakfast and sat at the bar. The weather was really nice outside. This place was busy and it is clearly a popular spot for brunch. The brunch menu had a little bit of everything. I opted for the basic breakfast and an espresso martini (or three). Drinks were great and food was well prepared and arrived in a timely manner. The service staff was very friendly and even gave recommendations of other places to visit during my stay (including trying them out for dinner). I'd definitely go back for dinner even though I did not get the opportunity this time around. It was a chill brunch spot and the bar is a fun place to sit!
It doesn't miss. That's the best thing you can say about any restaurant. I've never been to TW and had a bad dining experience. The food is flavorful and cooked perfectly. The staff is top notch with service and suggestions. We ate inside the restaurant this time vs out back and it was great to get out of the FL sun.
I might be obsessed with this place. We were in town for a music festival and we needed a dog friendly brunch place. We also forgot it was Mother's Day, so we had about an hour wait as a walk up, but this place was very much worth it. Once we got the text, we came back and were shown to the spacious outdoor area on the first floor with our pups. They brought the pups a water bowl, and it was nicely shaded so we were all comfortable. I loved the decoration in there, it was secluded from the street but still very open but comfortably shaded. Everyone who worked here was very nice and the service was great from start to finish. I got the brisket hash, which was delicious. The eggs were cooked to a perfect over medium (at my request). The third wave house smoked brisket is worthy of hype for sure. My companion got the shrimp scramble, and we ended up asking if it was normal for the shrimp to be slightly translucent, which it apparently is for rock shrimp! Both entrees were excellent. I also got a bloody Mary which was amazing. Overall I have no notes for this place. Service? Great. Vibes? Great. Food? Great. I'd definitely stop by here again for brunch, or I'd love to try out their dinner menu too! read more

The good: The ambiance was wonderful outside. Lively atmosphere and fun vibe. The octopus dish was absolutely delicious. It was very tender which can be hard to get right. The service was good as well. The okay: we ordered the salmon dish rare and it came out medium. The sauce with it was very bland. The salmon was unseasoned and the quantity of rice to veggies/fish was off. There was only one dessert option and it was just okay as well. For the price point, unfortunately we expect a bit more. read more
This spot is absolutely fabulous! It feels like you're retreating back into a secret garden, away from the noise and crowds of the beach. The restaurant is very nice inside and the menu is divine. Here's what I tried: Scallops ($42) New England jumbo scallops, sun-dried tomato-infused cashmere cream risotto, candied cherry tomatoes, goat cheese crème Burrata Caprese Salad ($20) with the Fresh Local Catch added ($MKT) Pistachio dusted cream-filled burrata, marinated cherry tomatoes, basil pesto, charred artichokes, za'atar herbs, pickled beets, Peruvian sweet peppers, arugula, herb infused EVOO, toasted artisan bread Everything really exceeded my expectations. If I could give this place six stars I would. Very relaxed local vibe but also very friendly to tourists. Seating is indoor and outdoor. service is very professional, but relaxed and quite knowledgeable. The food is absolutely incredible. First time ever being in a restaurant with a maître D was a chicken named garbanzo. I will be back. read more
What I had: WATERMELON LEMONADE [not pictured] - Bomb! I swear, nothing beats a good lemonade. Refreshing and flavorful. I could've drank an entire pitcher by myself and still wanted more. SPINACH & ARTICHOKE DIP w/CRISP BAGUETTE - Bomb! I'm a huge fan of spinach dip, so I always order it wherever I go. This is definitely in my Top 5 of any place I've ever had it. Absolute perfection. SPINACH & ARTICHOKE DIP PIZZA [off-menu item?] - Bomb! I just knew I'd like this, based off how good the dip itself is. TRÉS LECHES CAKE - I'm normally not a fan of trés leches cake, but the entire table convinced me to try it...and I'm so glad they did. This is the best I've ever tasted. Also pictured, but not tasted: NEW YORKER PIZZA WAYGU SHORT RIB FLAT IRON + SHRIMP FLORIDA WATERS WILD PRIZE CATCH This is a nice little chill spot, especially if the weather is kind. Luckily the rain passed us by and we were able to dine outdoors under the moonlight. Our server was attentive and glady explained the menu to those who needed it. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary with a chill beach date but we had no set plans for dinner. I had heard of third wave and read amazing reviews so we decided to head there after a thunderstorm started to move in. We were greeted cheerfully by the staff and the beautiful design and decor inside. Both my husband and I ordered some type of seafood, the coastal Riggies and the coconut curry dish. Both were absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and especially the fish/scallops were cooked to perfection. So glad we spontaneously decided to stop in here. We will be back for sure! read more

Delish meal on a lovely, serene patio. Elected to go with the NY pizza, Crete salad (Greek salad sans lettuce), tres leches. All extremely flavorful, well balanced, sufficiently portioned. These specific items priced reasonably; pricing of most other dishes more aggressive. Service pleasant and efficient. The most enjoyable non-seafood meal experienced in 7 nights in the area. read more
A repeat visit to what was our 125th Diners Drive-Ins and Dives stops last year...Third Wave in New Smyrna Beach. Last year was breakfast, today was a supper visit. Terri was thinking Chicken or a Burger and ended going for her second burger of the day...the Chefs Double Prime Smashburger...a good choice. I was struggling between either a Shrimp dinner or an Octopus version...at the recommendation of Hailey (if I remember correctly) our server (who was also there last year at our 125th stop) I went with the Galician Pulpo (Forno Oven Roasted Octopus) dinner and it was very good!!! The whole staff is very friendly and accommodating. The upscale casual atmosphere is welcoming for the customers. See you folks again I'm sure! read more

All right, finally time to leave a review of this glorious place. Honestly, this has to be one of my favorite places to eat, and I am a total foodie. Every time, it is always cooked to perfection and the service excellent. They offer everything from brunch in the mornings/early afternoons to dinner at night. I prefer to sit at the bar, it's fun to watch the bartenders make cocktails. Last night, I was craving something refreshing with the hot/humid weather, so I asked for a Mojito and was pleasantly surprised, I enjoyed the light watermelon flavoring. My other go-to drink here would be an Espresso Martini or whatever the bartenders recommend because it's always fantastic. For food, we were in more of a "munchie" mood so we got the special, a board basically as a deconstructed Rueben, but so much more than that! The serving was huge, could easily feed a few people. Corned beef still on the bone, tender and juicy. Dijon mustard and thousand island for dipping. Along with Saurkraut and Rye bread, of course. In addition, they added some Red Dragon Cheese, which tasted buttery with mustard seeds, delicious pairing with everything else. I would definitely re-order this special if they ever have it again. Ah, and the service. Walking in we were greeted and sat right away, very unusual as this place normally always has a wait- especially on a Friday night. Our Bartenders got us drinks and put the food order in right away as well. Checked on us several times, and made one of those recommendation drinks that tasted really good. Great service - Hostess was wiping a table when we arrived, and someone else immediately addressed us letting us know she'd be right over. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Food - Excellent for the most part. My Garden Crepe was very flavorful would recommend. My side was a nicely prepared salad. My wife had the southwest hash, which was good, however I feel there was less care in the preparation as she ordered the optional half avocado ($2 up charge) and much of it was brown. The drip coffee is strong but high quality. We would have had an espresso drink, but the cafe is down for renovations. Fantastic shaded outdoor seating with fans. Bathroom could use a better clean inside and the doors. I realize they have workers there for renovations, but this can't be an excuse. Overall a great experience. 4.25 stars. read more

Beautiful courtyard setting, excellent breakfast and exceptional service. Sam and her daughter were personable, genuine and attentive. Look forwarding to seeing Sam again, at the bar! The cafe's mascot a beautiful rooster walks around to greet everyone, too. Third Wave is well-known to the Orlando / New Smyrna Beach locals, and is a venerable dining spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. read more
If there was higher rating, this place would have it. Ambiance is very relaxing, romantic and very cozy. Service is impeccable, timely, and they got everything right- professionalism is on point. Food is ABSOLUTELY DEVINE, from artichoke dip that we devoured quickly with warm fresh baked bread, to 3 different pizzas. My friend got roasted duck pizza, takes the cake absolute no. 1, no doubt about that! My husband and I got chefs pastrami pie pizza and the new yorker, absolutely delicious and ao full of flavor. The whole meal is so delicious that it is not a question if we will be coming back but when. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that. read more

Yes! 9am-2pm everyday of the week except Tuesday when they're closed

The pastrami rib board as seen on tv is a rotating feature from the smoker. You can try calling the day you intend to pop in to see if they will be offering the board.
Does Third Wave accept reservations? Thank you?
We do not take reservations, but as previously answered, calling ahead will give us an idea and we can try to accommodate. We do work on a first come first serve system.
Crepes or no crepes? Please respond!
I think they only offer Crepes at brunch.. :( Wasn't on the dinner menu at least.
