Used to be my favorite place. Food was SO late (about an hour to get our food) and cold. We had a party of 8 on an early Thursday 5:00 pm sitting. Party of 10 came in 30 min after us and got served way ahead of us. Same thing for another party of four after us getting served way first. Then the real kicker was the automatic tip of 24+% on our bill already included - you might not see it (if you don't calculate it yourself you would never know it's 24%). Waiter was just fine but not an automatic 24% fine! Then an additional 3% if you use a credit card. Manager knocked 15% off our bill for the slow service and gave us some extra warm fries (too late), but that didn't really fix things, especially my cold and tiny grouper sandwich that I didn't eat. Used to eat there a lot because my boat was right there and we used to like it. Going to have to cross it off the list.

I loved the patio and island vibes at this restaurant! The menu had good variety, I got the House Salad with Grouper on top which was tasty. If you sit on the patio, WATCH OUT FOR NO SEE UMS. They will get you- bring bug spray!!! The patio was attached to a dock which was fun for my 1.5 year old to see some fish and even a turtle! Fun times.

We stopped in for a late lunch and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere overlooking the inlet--it was the perfect spot to unwind. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We tried the crab and shrimp dip, which was definitely different than expected--it had more of a chowder-like consistency--but the flavor was great and surprisingly comforting. The salsa was on the runnier side and had a unique sweetness to it, which added an interesting twist. All in all, it was a pleasant meal with a beautiful view. A nice little gem if you're looking for good service, something a bit different, and a peaceful spot by the water!

Great food, service and views! We started with corn fritters, they were very good! Our party had the burger, fried fish basket and shrimp tacos. All were cooked perfectly and delicious! Our server was very kind and attentive. Highly recommend

Recently went to grab a cocktail and drinks as a peaceful end to a great day at the beach. We came in around 4 and were seated quickly out back by the water. We were greeted quickly and shown the specials for the day. The waited had little ideas about what to get and the beer options were slim beyond regular colors light or miller light and the like. He made no other drink suggestions and we never saw a drink menu, which I thought was very odd because they are a waterside bar and restaurant. Our drinks were cold, the calamari and fish tacos were good, so we were overall happy. The nice surprise was the live music. Two ladies set up and we actually stayed longer to listen. Very very enjoyable and talented ladies!

We spent a nice morning at the beach. This is near, just three minutes from the inlet park. We love the fresh calamari. The option to seat outside along the river or a nice clean quiet inside seating. Our waitress was very attentive always checking in on us. We started with the calamari, the a fish and chips meal it included fries and onion rings with coleslaw . All was cooked clean and fresh tasting. Definitely a place to bring friends and family and enjoy the river view (dolphins) and the live music. An extra not bring cash! Better to pay with cash be credit card

The food was great got grouper but the time we had to wait was a lot longer than the people who got to the restaurant 20 min after us and didn't have a reservation but not there falt and we were able to get drinks at the bar so that was good and the waiter's were really nice and fast but they forgot something but got it to us after we told them awesome service

    Best oysters I've ever had!

Hands down the best oysters I've ever had!!! My family and I recently visited from Michigan. We dined twice at Off The Hook. The drinks were tasty, ambiance was perfect and especially lovely dining in the water. The service both times was top notch. Kat was especially delightful. It's unfortunate that we live so far away. We would dine here all the time!

After doing some touristy things in Ponce Inlet, we enjoyed a tranquil lunch with a table indoors in the cool A/C and a beautiful wide water view! We had read some earlier reviews and were eager to try Off the Hook ourselves. It did not disappoint! We ordered a fried oyster po'boy sandwich with onion rings, and a fried grouper sandwich with French fries. Both were outstanding! We really liked our lunch experience and recommend this restaurant!

Excellent food, great service and beautiful views! What more could you ask for!? My husband and I discovered this place 2 years ago on our annual trip to Daytona. It's now a must stop every time we are in town. This year we got to see dolphins swim by during dinner!! The grouper bites are our favorite!

Food came out quickly but fried items were rather "chewy" instead of crunchy and not hot. . It was disappointing.

Let me start with this: I do not like wine…read more I've tried for years. I've ordered it at dinners, events, girls' nights... and I've rarely even been able to finish a glass. That's how much I typically dislike the taste. My preference? Sweet and fruity. Think Jolly Rancher candy. The only exception I've ever found was Ice Wine, which is rarely carried in restaurants or wine bars. So when we attended a work event here, I was honestly looking forward to the company more than the drinks. But I decided to be honest with our waitress. I told her I don't like dry wine, I prefer sweet, and asked if she had any recommendations. She introduced me to Sangue Di Giuda (Italy -- fruity, light, medium sweet, low alcohol)... and for the first time ever, I found a wine I genuinely enjoyed. I could actually sip it without making a face. At around $8 a glass, it felt very reasonable. They also offer full bottles for purchase, which I love as an option if you find something you enjoy. Beyond the wine, the atmosphere makes this place special. It's warm, relaxed, and perfect for conversation. It feels elevated without being stuffy -- the kind of place where you can linger and talk without feeling rushed. So this review is for two groups: * Wine lovers looking for a great experience * And the "I don't like wine but I'm here anyway" crowd Be honest about what you like. Let the staff guide you. You might surprise yourself like I did. We'll absolutely be back -- and yes, I'll be ordering the same glass again. Bonus: It's located in a plaza with great dinner options, so you can easily turn it into a full night out. We grabbed Greek food next door afterwards, and there's also Bronx House pizza at the end of the plaza if that's more your vibe (both are delicious!). Makes planning easy.

The wine tastings are Thursday 5-7 and do not disappoint it's a great way to try new wines and they give you a discount on bottles of the wines sampled that night. The ambiance is warm and inviting and the music is just the right genre/volume so you are still able to chat and catch up while sipping. This is a great one stop shop for premier wines - we have come in a few times and told them our favorite notes/food it's going with and they help you find the perfect bottle. Highly recommend!

Also, the bar was stocked with a bunch of bartenders to handle the almost-packed bar and my server was attentive and accommodating. In fact, when I arrived (I was a party of 1) the hostess sat me at a table by the bar and then came back and asked if I wanted to move to a bigger table because there was enough space for me to get away from the people at the bar so they're weren't "on top of me." Just so thoughtful. Then there's the actual restaurant/bar. It's so cute! Red brick walls, has a fancy sports bar vibe to it. Loved the food and the people here. Great experience. Will be back.

We sat at the outdoor bar ordered some happy hour drinks which they offer $5 margaritas and $6 house wines all day, every day. Nick was extremely tentative and even provided us with waters without us having to request it. The $6 wine pours come in a large sized glass and the size pour was decent! Once seated at our table we were served by Bri and she made some good recommendations. For apps we had the Cuban candy as an app and it was a huge hit at our table. On Thursdays they do a "prime rib special" which isn't really a special as far as pricing instead it is more so a special that is offered only on Thursdays for $44. 2 people from my party ordered it and they were satisfied. I ordered the chimichurri chicken sandwich which is a new menu item. The portion size of the chicken was good, however, the chimichurri / sauce seemed to lack. Also I wasn't a huge fan of their house sweet potato chips, they weren't bad, they were just okay, however, I would opt to have French fries next time. As far as ambiance, the inside is quite small which I got worried about sound and talking amongst my party but that wasn't an issue. They don't seem to take reservations unless your party is of 6 or more.

This spot has always held great memories for all of us, whether together or separately, and we were hoping it would still feel the same. It absolutely did. Since it was a Monday night, it was nicely relaxed--not too crowded--and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. We grabbed a table right by the bar in the open-air section, and everything about it was just perfect. The weather cooperated (low humidity for the win!), and the setting felt like a little tropical escape. Between the pergola, Bimini-style covers, and all the lush greenery, it honestly felt like dining in a beautiful garden. Our server was fantastic--patient, attentive, and genuinely kind--even as we got caught up in nonstop conversation and took our time ordering. Never once felt rushed, which made the night even more enjoyable. When we finally ordered, the food did not disappoint. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There are so many great options on the menu that everyone at the table left happy (and already talking about what to try next time). It's rare to find a place that delivers consistently on atmosphere, service, and food--but this one still does. So glad we chose it for such a meaningful night. We'll definitely be back.
