I'm so happy I stopped in to First Watch for breakfast today. I was seated quickly and brought a carafe of hot coffee almost instantly. I really needed it, so this was very appreciated The coffee was fresh and there was plenty of it! I also was brought a carafe of water. For breakfast, I got the BLT eggs Benedict. The bacon was crispy, there was just enough hollandaise, and I enjoyed the lemony arugula with it. The breakfast potatoes were well seasoned. I ordered a cup of fresh fruit and it included strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and pineapple. My server was friendly and attentive. It is definitely a different vibe than the former restaurant, but it appeared clean and modern. I am excited to visit again and try some of the specials. read more

Got seated very quickly; drink orders came out fairly quickly as well. It started to fill up fast and it took a while to get our food in. Food took a while to come out, but we understood. They seemed to be understaffed. After this point, it was almost impossible to get our waitress' attention. I needed butter, never got it. Waited 10 plus minutes for water. First Watch is my go-to breakfast stop whenever we're on a road trip. We stopped at the Ormond Beach location on our way to Orlando, and just like every other location we've visited, it did not disappoint. I tried something different this time and ordered the Seasonal Hash...yummmmmy. So flavorful and filling. I also had a mimosa, which was the perfect addition to brunch. My husband went with the breakfast tacos, which were also a hit. My daughter had the kids oatmeal, and we added an order of Nutella donuts, which she absolutely loved. Her meal did take a little longer to come out, but our waiter Trevor was amazing and took it off the bill without us even asking. That kind of customer service really stands out. Great food, consistent quality, and thoughtful service. We'll absolutely be back on our next road trip. read more

We decided to go to First Watch for breakfast. Love the outdoors seating, we picked out our table and our server brought my husband a pot of coffee and a carafe of water. She then took our order. My husband ordered the Trifecta with eggs over medium, Belgian waffle and bacon. I ordered the Traditional with scrambled eggs with cheese, wheat toast, sausage links and fresh fruit instead of potatoes. There was music playing outdoors which was really nice and the sun shining brightly, very relaxing! Our food was served very promptly. My eggs were delicious much better with the cheese! Sausage was very good too. I did take my fruit home since I was full. My husband really enjoyed his waffle which warm syrup was brought out to and eggs cooked perfectly as well as the bacon. This used to be peach valley and had similar menu options and similar hours (closed at 2:30 PM). They upgraded the entire layout though of the inside and it looks much nicer than when it was peach Valley. It used to have a more closed in feeling. This is very open and airy. Unfortunately, voices bounce around a lot and so it does start to get a bit loud in here if you're trying to carry on conversations. The service was quick and fast and they had no problem with my wife's custom order. She tends to like to just tell them what she wants as opposed to picking something off a menu. Our server was great and put a delicious meal together on the request that she had. I had the CHICKICHANGA. Kind of a southwestern chicken breakfast taco. Delicious though. read more

Clean restaurant with friendly staff. Our waitress checked on us quite often. We started with the Million Dollar bacon. It was sweet from maple syrup with a hint of spice on top of thick cut smoky bacon. Delicious! Both of us ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict that was perfectly poached eggs over smoked salmon, tomato slice, and ciabatta. The whole thing was topped with a silky, lemony hollandaise. We chose a salad as our side and the spring mix topped with a lemon vinaigrette was a perfect contrast to the rich Benedict. Overall would 100% visit again! read more

Went for lunch & was very pleased! The dining room was open, airy & very clean. Our server Olivia was great! She was knowledgeable & efficient! Anything we asked for was not a problem for her. The menu had so many yummy sounding foods, that it was hard to choose. Ended up ordering Chipotle Steak & Queso Hash and the Monterey Club. They were both delicious! We were so excited to check out the soft opening of First Watch in Ormond Beach and it did not disappoint! As regulars at the Daytona Beach branch, we're thrilled to now have one closer to home here in Beachside. We came in for lunch and started with decaf coffee (wonderful, smooth, and rich!) and the Morning Meditation juice, which was refreshing and fresh. For food, I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict with spring salad--everything was super fresh and absolutely delicious. My husband went for the Roast Beef & Havarti sandwich with horseradish sauce and salad, which was also packed with flavor. A big shoutout to our server Nikki--she was the sweetest and made sure our entire experience was perfect. The restaurant has a cozy vibe with the bonus of outdoor seating, which means we can bring our dog next time. All in all, the ambiance was lovely, the food was spot-on, and the service was phenomenal. So happy to welcome First Watch to Ormond Beach--we'll definitely be back often! read more

The front staff and server (Lacey) were great! Appreciated how much they took care of our large party of 9. Quick to be seated, attended and served. The location is well lit, warm and inviting. Food - recommend not to get the farmhouse skillet - basically a big pile of overcooked bacon pieces with 6 cubes of potatoes. It was overly salty and disappointing. Just get a side of potatoes. The grits are just watered and oily polenta - not grits. I recommend the "basics" in terms of food options if you're going to eat there (that's what I'll do the next time I go). My wife's eggs Benedict were hard boiled - they re-did them correctly and comped them, which was appreciated. We'll give it another shot soon. read more

My girlfriend and I have gone to this location twice. although the food was very good the service was very lackluster. it was very slow the 1st time, we forgave it because it was somewhat busy. The 2nd time we came we ordered 2 drinks, my girl got hers but mine was missing and so was my server. Our food came out and still no checkup. 80% through my meal the server came over and I mentioned I never got my drink. she stated she wrote it down and forgot to put the order in. told her I no longer wanted it since I was done eating and ready to leave. The restaurant was close to empty at this time there was no reason to not check up on us or get the order right. I do not see myself coming back to this location again even though the food and price was decent. read more

The portions were great but the breakfast was Stone Cold I figured $40 for two breakfasts at least it would come out of the kitchen warm but both breakfasts that we ordered came out of the kitchen Stone cold. I love first watch they serve breakfast lunch and brunch. Nine times out of 10 I'm going for breakfast. They have amazing pancakes and waffles... So fluffy and flavorful I've rarely had to wait for a table. Service is always with a smile and the food comes out quick and hot. The restaurant is clean and has a comfortable atmosphere fitting for single diners, couples, and families with children. The menu is extensive as well. I don't think you will be disappointed when you make a visit to first watch. I have been to three different locations the one on East Granada, the one on international Speedway and the one on Dunlawton all in East Volusia County. Enjoy! read more
