What a gem we stumbled on! We were picking up bagels for the fam at Einstein and I asked an employee where to go for a good biscuit and gravy and they told me same shopping center other end! The sweetest family feel and everyone is a regular! Sausage gravy with biscuits, 2 eggs scrambled and bacon for $8! Mickey Mouse pancake for kids, $3.75! What a Goldie we've got on our breakfast list for every beach trip!

Love this pic. Take a close look at it.

Pretty good little breakfast and lunch place. Open till 200pm. Been awhile since here last Nicest waitress you can ask for and what is great is that all of the workers come thru asking if you need coffee, everything is good etc I had the 2 eggs cheese on hashbrowns smoked sausage with rye toast. Very good and eggs were perfect. Lots of potatoes Candyce had her bacon and eggs scrambled and her breakfast was great. The place is small and service was great. Got a picture of the picture on the wall. Take a look at it. I would love to have it

"Coffee Shop" coffee

came here on a Sunday morning and it was easy to find. the sign and Internet states this place is a "Coffee Shop", and it is if y'all just want a black cup of coffee and greasy food because this is no coffee shop just a drive dinner

One of the few places that will let you have this for breakfast. Real meat, sautéed onions (opt), let, tom, and choice of cheese. .

Very disappointing breakfast. We listened to the reviews and tried this. We won't be back.

You don't see places like this anymore. Genuine hospitality. Great food, great coffee, cute diner vibes with a local feel.

My eggs were cooked just right, the scrapple (yes, scrapple) was delicious, the grits was perfect and the biscuits were great.

This place never disappoints. The food is absolutely amazing and you constantly leave this place…read morewith a full belly and let's not forget about the service. Everyone just seems so happy here so you can tell that it really enjoy their jobs which makes a huge difference. We started off with the coconut shrimp and had like this coconut mayo dipping sauce was different, but it was really good, but I felt like it needed like a sweet-and-sour sauce then I had the mahi tacos with just the rice no black beans definitely still as good as the last time I tried it my boyfriend got the buffalo chicken pizza gluten-free and he ate the entire thing so that just tells you right off the bat that it was good and to finish off our dinners we ended with Keylime pie. It wasn't the best it was OK. I don't think I would have it again, though the ambience, excellent this place is adorable. It's like a diamond in the rough. No one really knows it's here but anytime ever and someone says they're going to Daytona. I always recommend this place. Go here! You will never be disappointed trust me!

Having been to the grind over the years, we have certain expectations as to the quality of food and…read moreservice. I want to preface this by saying we went on a very cold day and ate indoors..the pizza was outstanding and the waiter was friendly and engaging..in other words, typical for our experiences there. Prior to this, we even brought friends who hadn't been there before and loved it...now, to our recent experience: We were seated and the waitress seemed as though she wasn't very familiar with the menu and had to check on our requests, each check took a disturbingly long time. When we brought our friends, my gal ordered a hamburger and I asked the waitress if she could have the wagyu, rather than the angus burger, she readily said yes and my gal marveled over the burger...fast forward to the last experience, the waitress said she'd have to order the wagyu as posted and it "wasn't available" as a stand alone order. So my gal settled for the angus burger and again, the wait was a bit long and as we were considering to leave, the waitress showed up, gave us our food and left. the onion rings were cold...literally...they had been out so long that they weren't even warm (our prior experiences the onion rings arrived hot and delicious). Again we waited for our waitress to return and my gal had to ask another waitress if she could get us some hot onion rings. That waitress noted the cold onion rings and brought them back to the kitchen to prove we weren't being unreasonable, which was a greatly appreciated gesture on her part. Very promptly, the "other" waitress brought our onion rings, apologizing profusely...we thanked her and when my gal started into her Caesar salad, it was inedible....soggy, nearly tasteless and resembling a hot spinach salad with soggy lettuce than a crisp Caesar salad....the upside, the second batch of onion rings were up to their usual excellent standard, the burger was good, but not the intensity of flavor their wagyu burger had. If we hadn't been semi-regulars, it is a near certainty we wouldn't go back, but we aren't going to let a single experience unravel years of good experiences.

I tried their new Orlando inspired dish (Mimi's fiesta bowl) which was like a burrito bowl. The one downside is that it was meant to come with two different sauces and mine came with neither. The only reason I noticed was because a friend at the table also ordered it and hers came with the sauce. Her order was delayed (not the restaurants fault) so by the time I realized I had eaten 3/4 of mine. It also felt small for the plate. I didn't leave hungry but it didn't feel like it was as large as a typical meal would have been. Our server was really nice and accommodating.

For some reason the food and service seemed better at the previous location. I haven't been impressed recently and haven't been going as frequently. This last visit was worse than normal. I get sat at around 7:30 at a table and then no service for 10 minutes. It's not extremely busy and there seems to be plenty of staff. My waiter finally approached and greets me very weirdly. Not friendly at all. I give him my drink and food order and off he goes. 5 minutes later he comes back and says we are out of salmon. The interaction is once again odd. I just figure at this point I'm just going to go down the street. Not sure what's going on at this location.
