Wife got the Cuban bowl with chicken and I got the Caribbean wrap with chicken and we shared the sweet potato biscuits....and I couldn't resist pairing my wrap with the Jamaican chicken soup of the day! I had the most amazing salad here. So much avocado and fresh pineapple. My friend ordered some sweet potato rolls and they were delicious. They also got quiches, which looked like a daily special. The Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich was delicious with the sweet potatoes. I savored every bite of the sandwich and the sweet potatoes. They offer an extensive gluten free and vegan baked goods selection, which my wife loved. We split a lemon lavender gluten-free cupcake that was tasty and light, where you tasted the lavender and the lemon wasn't overwhelming. The cocktails were well made as I enjoyed their aperol spritz. I savored that drink as we enjoyed the sunshine. Our server was great and helped direct us to the outdoor patio and the restroom. She checked up on us to ensure we had what we needed for cocktails and water while we waited for our meal. Wild Rabbit Bistro was a great find on Granada Boulevard that if you are the park or one of the nearby gardens or homes/condominium buildings nearby is easy walking distance. Finally got to the Wild Rabbit. I'm a breakfast guy and this place is a uniquely fresh alternative for Ormond. The food is not your typical greasy diner fare, not that there is anything wrong with that! They clearly pay attention to healthier alternatives that are very well prepared. Think delicious sweet potatoes instead of fried hash browns. We started with the sweet potato biscuits with a sweetened butter. Delicious and could easily be made into a meal. I had the breakfast burrito. It was stuffed with eggs sweet potato cubes, black beans and sharp cheddar. Delicious and filling. The place is very well decorated and in a great location on Granada. We walked in on a Saturday morning and were easily seated. We were immediately greeted by cute rustic farm decor. With Easter coming up, they had plenty of holiday decor up that fit seamlessly into the vibe. I ordered an Inflammation Reducer juice (carrot, apple, ginger, turmeric), which was very balanced and refreshing. We also ordered the tomato chive and goat cheese quiche, with a side of bacon. While it was delicious, it's important to note that (a) this is actually a frittata, and (b) the "chives" are scallions. As good as the food and drink were, the lack of cleanliness at Wild Rabbit Bistro left me feeling unsettled. The one bathroom also serves as an open storage area for their paper products, so keep that in mind the next time you ask for a to-go container. Additionally, a live cockroach joined my breakfast date. My server was unapologetic, noting that "it's Florida".... a response I am sure a health inspector would welcome. Suddenly it made sense why it was so easy to get a table on what is typically a busy day and a busy time. Fresh and delicious! My family visits Ormond practically every year and Wild Rabbit is a personal favorite of mine. I've enjoyed everything from a smoothie bowl to a breakfast platter. My favorite smoothie is the Blue Dream. They also make a great matcha latter which can be hard to come by. The baked goods are also delicious although I can not recommend the GF brownie. The staff is super friendly and they try their best. When they packed or between shifts, you can tell. They servers are running around and may be slow to check on you. Overall, I enjoy this spot and would recommend. If it's not too humid out, you should sit outside! read more

I'm flabbergasted by the high rating this place has received. It wasn't my experience yesterday, at all. The wife and I were visiting Ormond Beach and decided to have a picnic brunch at the nearby Rockefeller Gardens. We stopped here and ordered a meal to go: a breakfast burrito, a Farmer's Platter and two smoothies. The bill came to more than $43. And there was nothing about the food that justifies that kind of price. Which is bad enough, but what was worse was waiting almost a half-hour for our order. A place serving brunch shouldn't take that long to provide what looked to be the simplest offerings on the menu. In France, the corner bistro is the equivalent of our neighborhood diners: the menus are pretty much standardized (steak frites, coq au vin, onion soup, etc.), which leads to short wait times and dependable quality. It's the same as ordering a cheeseburger deluxe at a diner: you know exactly what you're gonna get, it will be served hot and the price won't be outrageous. Here in Florida, apparently, a bistro is a place where you'll be overcharged and compelled to wait an inordinate amount of time for your lackluster food, simply because they have a French word in their name. read more

My wife wanted to come here for breakfast/brunch on our Daytona trip and I'm glad she chose this place. She's vegan so I usually end up ordering vegan too but I was able to order something else for a change. This was a very nice little quaint brunch spot with great hospitality. We loved the vibe here and really enjoyed sitting in a little corner off to the side, it had a nice bench and a window for our toddler to look out. The food was great, the prices were totally reasonable and I would highly recommend. Wild Rabbit is one of Ormond's best lunch spots! I'm vegan, and they had plenty of options for me and folks who eat meat as well. I had the Buddha bowl with tofu and I can't recommend it enough. Super fresh and filling and the sauce on the side is bomb! My sister had the vegan impossible burger and she said it was amazing. My boyfriend had a vegan "chicken" wrap that was also pretty good. They also have a ton of vegan pastries and deserts. We bought two giant vegan peppermint crinkle cookies and they were so soft and fresh.
