    Egg sandwich with grits

This is a chain, but a good chain. The restaurant was very clean and easy to maneuver through for my older mom with a wide walking place between tables. Our waitress was kind, helpful and attentive. I got the Florida pancake with no powdered sugar. It was massive and had a lot of ripe fresh fruit. My mom got the egg and cheese sandwich with grits and she really liked it. It is a great place to grab breakfast.

Close to lunch so I decided on lunch instead of breakfast. Our waitress was very nice and we didn't want for thing. Ended up with chicken Ceasar wrap with chips and pickle. This was good. Good flavor not dry at all. Very enjoyable. Candyce went for the breakfast and she enjoyed it very much. Been to Keke's quite a few times and never are disappointed.

Too little food. The food was good. The ceiling fans were rolling like it was 100 degrees in the building and it was 66 outside. Asked if the one near us could be turned off or down , the waitress said no. It cooled the food so quickly. The coffee was weak. Very clean. Hostess was nice.

The food was so AMAZING. The service was okay. Maybe because she was an older lady. She did check on us a good 3 times. And the ambiance was very laid back. It's a good spot to come grab a drink and talk. Or even as a first date. Highly recommended honestly. The mimosas were DEFINITELY to die for!

First time visit. Greeted and immediately seated. Danielle K took very good care of our table, being very attentive. Ordered orange juice, an order of cinnamon apple French toast and the cheese steak omelette ($14.79). White American cheese is standard but I asked to substitute to pepper Jack cheese. BUYER BEWARE- by simply changing cheese it became a MYO omelette and was charged Ala carte pricing of $16.79. The irony to this - pepper Jack is $.50. This seems a bit deceptive and unethical. Overall, the food was delicious and service great. Portions are generous. Will most likely return but with more scrutiny on ordering and pricing.

First time trying this place. Staff was friendly and place was clean. The chicken was crispy and the size of the meat was good size. I can really see the meat inside not just the breading. "Not by quantity by weight!" Toast was yummy, fries was from nice clean oil.

Service was super amazing here! I think they have a great team that works well together! We were welcomed. The server was knowledgeable. The food was served at the appropriate temperature! Plus, everything was delicious....I'd recommend this spot for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Parking is plentiful too! The hubs enjoyed his blueberry pancakes while I had a classic 2-egg breakfast.

Another delicious brunch. The food always tastes fresh and delicious. The Carolina chicken wrap with the grilled chicken and fruit on the side is not only tasty but healthy. Service is always pleasant and they seem to keep track of your drinks to make sure you are always filled up.

Breakfast bowl w/ spinach, mushroom, and bacon. Pretty greasy. Couldn't finish it cuz I didn't feel right

Came here Tuesday November 1st. Came in and said I have 25 min to eat and leave. Could they serve me with my limited time. Manager was there and confirmed they could. It was slow and they could do it. GREAT!!! FOOD: - ordered egg and home fries bowl with mushrooms, spinach, bacon, and over medium eggs. No cheese - it came w/ 4 wedges of buttered toast - it was tasty but super greasy. I hope I don't feel sick after. - coffee and water SERVICE: - server was super nice and was hustling around - manager went around checking on tables. AMBIANCE: - it's a diner type of atmosphere. Like a Denny's - Poor booth design. They should be perpendicular to current design to allow more flow of light down booth aisle way. When you sit the booths are so high you can't see over them out all the windows that surround the restaurant. So the natural enjoyment of windows is not present but desirable. - plain design but nice artwork on walls PROS: - good service - very friendly staff - quick food - big menu CONS: - booth arrangement - quality of food is that of a diner. Pretty buttery and greasy. Left a nasty taste in my mouth - again my breakfast bowl was really greasy - no spinach in my bowl except for 2 microscopic bites - only have plain ole coffee w/ regular creamer and basic sugar - coffee taste isn't that great

Service - possibly too much! :-) We happened to be seated at the end of the bar and every time a server passed us, they checked on us, tried to collect servingware (some of which was awaiting use) and asked if we needed anything. They were friendly and welcoming, not pushy. Tip: We heard a server describing flights to a nearby table. We had not been told of these. There was a $12 mystery flight with either 3 reds or 3 whites. There was a premium 3 taste red flight at $18. I am using the word taste loosely here as we were advised each taste in the flight is 1/2 glass. Everyone was happy to let us taste any wines that were open. The premium flight included a higher end version of the wine we got by the bottle (Mendoza Malbec) which the proprietress proactively offered us. Judging by that alone, the premium flight would have been worth the price. All wines by the glass were $7 or $15. On to the food and menu: The menu is a nice size and has offerings that would appeal to many palates and appetites. We tried the Crab Remick and the Grazing Board MKT ($20). We were there a year ago when the transition from "Better Days" to the "vine" was still in process. I liked the old menu a little better, but that's a matter of taste. The crab cakes and pasta choices are not on the menu now. (There is mac and cheese) For a scratch kitchen it is strange to me that they don't have any bread. In fact, I question whether they make the crostini. These crostini are small, cracker-sized, and have garlic flavoring. The actual crackers are clearly not made in house (see my photo). I looked at the photo of the French onion soup to see what bread is in there and I could not tell. But here is the thing, coming from Northern CA, having bread, preferably sourdough, to go with your cheese and wine is a key part of the experience for me. I think the Bistro is missing a couple big opportunities here. The first is to offer fresh bread with both the wine tasting menu and the brunch. And the other one is to get SF sourdough starter and use that for a unique and special attraction. Last time we were here, we got the meatball sliders and we really liked those. BTW, they offer tablets that have the menu, including photos, and wines, if you like to access the information that way.

This morning my husband and I were going out for breakfast, I suggested Heffer's Kountry Cafe,…read morereviews were good and we like trying new places. When we walked in, we were told to sit anywhere, it was only 40° this morning, so we decided to sit at a table away from the door. We were greeted and the young man was friendly. My husband had coffee and I had ice water. I did notice that if was loud inside as far as people talking loudly across the dining room from tables. Our server took our order my husband ordered 2 eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits with bacon. I ordered an egg over easy with hash browns, 2 sausage links and wheat toast. Our food was served quickly and we thought everything was going good. But then a SUV pulls up outside and apparently Tuesday morning is when they get their delivery. They propped open the door with all the cold air coming in, everyone except the cook that was working there stopped what they were doing and started to unloaded their order. Never once were we asked if we needed anything. My husband was almost hit in the back of his head with a big box of snack size Lays potato chips. Honestly, that was very unprofessional if they do this every Tuesday morning, they are only opened until 2 PM. They have all afternoon to have an order delivered or come in early before the restaurant opens to have it delivered. You do not go back-and-forth through a restaurant ignoring your customers because you have a delivery. Besides that... aren't most deliveries brought in through the back door not the front. We waited for our check but never came so we stood at the register until we could pay our bill. The restaurant was nicely decorated for St. Patrick's Day but maybe be more considerate of your customers.
