    Busy morning

Woe. This place gets real busy on the weekends. We were lucky and got a parking spot right in front and sat at the counter immediately. No waiting. Or waitress, Jessica, was really nice. She took our order and brought out drinks. The kitchen was quick. We got our order in just a few mins. I ordered the Micky, and my wife got the 2 pancakes, eggs, and bacon. My order had 2 big biscuits and gravy (I did give her some of my biscuit), 2 eggs, and bacon. Both orders were quite big. I turned to look at the restaurant, and the line had started to grow. We missed the rush by 5 mins. BTW, we've been here about 15 mins by now and have our food in front of us. These guys were hustling and helping each other. The food was better than most places we have been to. The service was quick. The people were very nice. We went a long way and will do it again next weekend. Everything was excellent. The place is very nice and plenty of seating. Nice for family dining.

Greek omelet w crispy hashbrowns. . Sautéed nicely. Crisp and tender. Feta and spinach and tomatoes. Forgot what the other one was . It's topped with gravy. Sliced potatoes light fried. Coffee was my least favorable again. It's only pink or white. I wish they had blue or yellow also.

BNG - 1/2 Biscuits and Gravy, 2 eggs and bacon.

First timer and I will be back! I ordered the BNG because I was assured Ruthy's is known for their biscuits and gravy. And they should be! Great food and excellent service. Friendly. Great diner atmosphere and clean and bright. It's busy, but worth it.

I love diners! I was happy to see this one close by as we were traveling. The inside is so cute, and all the servers were so pleasant. Everything feels clean and bright. There is a board full of specials on the wall in addition to a full breakfast and lunch menu. I settled on a chicken salad sandwich on rye toast and it came with fries, coleslaw and a pickle. Food arrived promptly and looked great. Sadly, the chicken salad was super bland and didn't even taste like chicken. All I could taste was celery and toast. The French fries were hot and good. I was bummed, as my husband got something that he truly enjoyed. I picked the wrong thing.

Atmosphere - Excellent. The restaurant is bright and cheerful. The decor is makes you feel at home. There are lots of four tops and booths. Service - Great. We were warmly greeted by the staff upon entry. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Food - Great. I had the Patty Melt, which came with French Fries. The burger was cooked to the exact temperature ordered. The sandwich was ample in size and it tasted great. The fries were very good as well. FYI, a large breakfast menu is also available for order anytime. Overall Value - Great. This is a restaurant every should try. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of food and service is excellent.

Well it's been eight years since I've walked through these doors and wow how things have changed, thanks to a business associate I had breakfast here today, yes I was a little reluctant to attend a breakfast meeting here when I got the invite - but he convinced me and I'm so glad I took him up on it. This place has undergone a beautiful makeover, it's well lit and the place looks amazing with all the new furnishings since my last visit I am totally impressed. He was seated when I arrived so I walked in without talking to a hostess and within a minute our server Amanda arrived with a giant smile and a wonderful good morning greeting. As she took my request for a cup of coffee we had both decided on our breakfast choices so off to the kitchen she went. I have to take a moment to compliment the owner Ruthy, she has really taken this place to a new level, this is a nice clean restaurant that I am sure I will return to many times in the future - the service was exceptional and the food was delicious and presented well. I definitely will add this back to my list of local restaurants and at the top of the list for breakfast service - I hated writing a poor review but my previous review was truly my experience as is this one today and it makes me extremely happy to see the transformation and there's no doubt in my mind that this place will continue being successful since the bar has been raised...

This spot has always held great memories for all of us, whether together or separately, and we were hoping it would still feel the same. It absolutely did. Since it was a Monday night, it was nicely relaxed--not too crowded--and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. We grabbed a table right by the bar in the open-air section, and everything about it was just perfect. The weather cooperated (low humidity for the win!), and the setting felt like a little tropical escape. Between the pergola, Bimini-style covers, and all the lush greenery, it honestly felt like dining in a beautiful garden. Our server was fantastic--patient, attentive, and genuinely kind--even as we got caught up in nonstop conversation and took our time ordering. Never once felt rushed, which made the night even more enjoyable. When we finally ordered, the food did not disappoint. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There are so many great options on the menu that everyone at the table left happy (and already talking about what to try next time). It's rare to find a place that delivers consistently on atmosphere, service, and food--but this one still does. So glad we chose it for such a meaningful night. We'll definitely be back.

The base was thinner than a traditional chowder but still very delicious. Latkes were good but I saw the foie gras go to another table and wish we had tried that instead. All of the entrees were delicious. Filet was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The Tile fish was beautifully prepared. Very light and flavorful with the fennel salad and bean cassoulet. The winner was the House-made gnocchi. Deep in flavors and the gnocchi melted in your mouth. Because they were made with flour (vs potato), they were like pillows of goodness on a plate. We were tapped out...and then we looked at the dessert menu. Banana pudding caught our attention and it did not disappoint. I thought I was eating on south beach for a moment. Flavors were intense, but not overpowering & it all complemented one another. If you are there make sure you try this appetizer. The bread for the Crustini was fresh not overly hard or stale. The main course I had was perfect. I had the steak au poivre. The sear on the meat was spot on and the sauce was not overly peppery. It let the steak do its job with the seared crust. Chefs veggies were good and the red bliss mash was velvet, smooth. The cocktails here also are amazing!
